We were in the glamping tent. Seriously cozy queen bed and linens. Nice picnic table in good repair. Raked and level camp ground site. Good privacy. Showers and flush toilet available.
Pit toilet closest to site 17 appeared to have not been cleaned during our entire stay, despite staff saying they check pit toilets twice a day. No toilet paper by the end of our first night and it still wasn't replaced by our 3rd day there. Dirt and debris accumulated on the floor and the dirty toilet paper was never cleaned up. Not to mention the solar powered light in this pit toilet did not work. Without a light, you are going to the bathroom in the pitch dark.

Location was amazing! Kananaskis offered so much beautiful scenery, and saw the most wildlife of our trip there. Campsite has a great and safe atmosphere, with a beautiful river running just behind the campground. Glamping tent was super cozy and comfortable. Staff was always super friendly, helpful and good fun throughout our stay. Couldn’t ask for better facilities for where the camp is. Shop on site had nearly everything you needed, and you can rent different camping supplies. Overall, 11/10 experience, will definitely be returning! :)
Genuinely couldn’t think of a single thing we didn’t like

What a lovely place. our Tipi was so warm, cozy and exceeded our expectations. A plus? We got to have a bonfire in the Kananaskis region.. and sunrise was spectacular. They had a walking trail with chairs to take in the views, right by the river. A lot of wildlife pondering as well, and very intimate campground. Highly recommend checking Sundance out for a more intimate camping experience. SHowers, washrooms facilities were cleaned and hot showers were a PLUS after a long day in nature. Dont walk.. RUN! Sundance is the best place in my opinion in the Kananaskis region!
a weeee bit more costly than usual campgrounds but it is definitely worth the experience.

We visited the Nordic spa so the location was perfect, just a five minute drive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tipi was spacious and clean and had good instructions on how to use the propane heater. We kept the heater on low all night and it did not run out. Free firewood was provided.
There is only one shower and flush toilet block which was not very clean and always very busy. No sink for washing dishes. The roads have some very bad potholes.

Very fun little campsite. Bathrooms are clean with warm water. Staff is super friendly. Family tent is spacious and beds and duvet (extra fee) are super cozy.
Campsite roads are very rough, lots of potholes. Unfortunately there is sometimes noise from loud cars due to the proximity to the highway.

Everything was perfect, apart from some noise. We enjoyed the campfire and the trappers tent was great, even though it was raining all night long, we felt safe. The kerosene heater was good, it was smelling a bit in the beginning, but we were warm. The walk to the trading post washroom was at a short distance and also everything was great! The walk to the river was also short and in the first evening we have had a stunning view! The staff members were friendly and helpful at all times! I was able to charge my batteries for my camera's at the trading post office - this was a big help( I am a photographer.)! We will definitive come back!
-The noise of the nearby neighbor's after midnight, didn't let us sleep much (children even loudly screaming), this should be made clear to everyone on arrival, that you have a noise policy from 22 pm - 8 am! -The mattress could have been a bit better, but we will prepare better, when we come next time! -The ladies washroom at the trading post was clean :) , however people should be aware, it is a camping site, not a beauty salon!

We liked the location, very close to Banff and affordable at the same time. Cozy camp on a beautiful river, great clean showers and a heater inside the tents for warm nights
There was no information about bedding on the website, maybe just didn’t find it. Anyway had to call to find out you could rent it. But due to the poor connection couldn’t hear everything, it turned out to be just beds and mattresses, no pillows included in the original price)) so better bring yours

Absolutely love this place! We've stayed in both the Teepee and the Trapper's Tent...both were great. It rained while we were in the Trapper's and the tent cover over the little front porch was fantastic for sitting at the bench and playing cards while listening to the rain. Camp sites have good distance between them for privacy, and people respected the 10pm quiet time rules. We were there at the end of the off-season so got these great sites for an even better price.
Prices go up much higher during peak season/summer. Understandable because of the demand as they book up fast...just too bad because can't always afford it.

We needed to change dates last minute after rearranging our trip due to the wildfires, and they were so accommodating! The glamping tent is lovely, we were plenty warm enough with the heater and we loved sitting in the red chairs by the river.
I thought there would be cute decor in the glamping tent like the pictures show. Doesn’t cause any issues though!

The location was STUNNING! We had such a great time here! We are really looking forward to coming back
I was not made aware that you need to bring your own bedding. I scoured the Booking.com listing multiple times, as did my partner, and it didn't say anything anywhere. I was only made aware the day of when we were already on our way and it was too late to stop and buy any. Aside from that, no complaints!
