I was pleasantly surprised at how nice Motel 6 in Grande Prairie was. The layout of the room was compact but had everything we needed. Coffee in the morning was wonderful! We liked the fact there was no extra charge for a dog. We will be back! Staying at Motel 6 made traveling affordable.

Although Motel 6 provides bags and several garbage cans for dog waste, some people refuse to clean up after their pets. Too bad there weren't cameras around the building and if people were seen not cleaning up their dog waste, they could be charged extra on their credit card! It was disgusting to see the disrespect of some customers after the motel made it so easy for them to pick up after their dogs! Certainly not the motel's fault!

Would be nice if there was a little bit more selection for breakfast rather than just granola bars. The outside area is kept very clean and mowed there are garbage and doggy bags at every corner of the building so everything is immaculate. Access in and out of the building is great! Staff goes above and beyond for customer service. I can’t believe with customer service becoming more and more like the customer is just an annoyance that needs to be dealt with that every single person I spoke to was very courteous and accommodating! Rooms are very tight if travelling with extra people and pets but we’re the cleanest we have been in a long time. Room doors are self closing so shut rather hard and do make a loud noise but other than that we couldn’t hear anybody in the other rooms. Will definitely stay again!

Breakfast variety, loud room doors, tight rooms small beds that are pretty hard, pillows are hard. =good prices,=quiet otherwise, super clean!, bring your own pillow😁

I liked the idea we did not have to pay a fortune in order to sleep for a night. The room was clean, staff was great. I liked that there is no extra charge for a pet.

There are lots of people in this world who do not respect the rights of others, and they do not pick up after their dogs poop. There are ample poopy bags and receptacles around the area, and the motel tries to encourage people to clean up after their animals. However, the good outweighs the bad and we will be back.

The motel itself was great and clean inside. The walls were a little thin, and neighbors were a bit noisy, but they settled down early. We were disappointed with how much dog poop was all around the building. That is the fault of dog owners not being responsible, which is a shame. Parking lot was quite icy too, but it was all over. But over all, we had a good stay. Second time for us, and we will be back.

The bed was comfortable, room temperature was easy to maintain. The room was small but, I literally just needed a place to sleep and shower and it provided that. Bonus was the fridge and microwave in the room. My room was at the back and it was quiet. Overall it was a good place to stay for the money and I would definitely go back again.

Not much of a selection for breakfast, and the room didn't have a place to put clothing (no drawers, just a closet rod). Both were minor issues and not something that would stop me from staying there again.

Andrea and Tracy are EXCEPTIONAL reception hostesses. They both went above and beyond to assist us in our transition & make our stay great. THANKS GALS! Loved being able to have a place that hosted our pet without additional charges!🤩 Housekeeping does an amazing job as well. 👏👏👏 Appreciated the complimentary coffee in our room. EXCELLENT VALUE

The tiny freezer in the fridge could have been defrosted to create more space. But that would add a LOT more work to housekeeping in their daily duties. Wish so much they had kitchenettes but microwave & fridge facilitated what we needed.

Great location, price and dogs stay free!

The beds are extremely small! Was no away from getting away from snuggling. It was tight sharing with my 11 year old so I couldn't imagine sharing with my husband. Definitely need more than 2 pillows on the bed as they're very flat pillows.

Clean and affordable no fuss rooms with the best staff and not in a junkie place or location, but clean 👌 and great staff are always quick to help and talking to them they are very kind awesome women !

My credit cards issues I had was nothing on their end though!!

Everything was great for the money.

The TV channels sucked and it was worse as there was no physical guide to tell you what channels were available, so it took you time to flick through them all until you found something available to watch. 😔

Collette at the desk was very helpful and totally sincere that she cared about me and my booking from booking.com .. she helped me straighten it all out.. she was amazing Hats off to you as a hotel for still having smoking room and not charging to be pet friendly..

It took forever to get hot water in the sink and the tub.. and it wasn't very hot for the shower. We had to leave the water running for a long time.. roo. 303
