We stayed in the south tower on the 7 floor with a south facing view for two weeks. The king bed was really comfy. The whole stay was really quiet. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of selection. The building security was also good.

The parking can be a pain. Most of the time, I ended up parking north of the building near the shoppers' drug mart. Definitely could have better lighting. The fridge could have been larger & it could have been colder. You had to get on your knees to access the fridge and microwave. This should be counter height.

The room, lounge and gym were nice and had water bottles. Plenty of towels and pillows in the room.

My only concern was that when I checked in, the lady who was helping me mentioned kind of loudly that I was going to be in my room alone. As a female who happened to be alone on this trip. It made me uneasy that she had mentioned it louder than any part of our conversation. The lobby was busy and if the wrong person heard the information, there could have been a dangerous situation. She was a nice lady but this made me uneasy.

Great breakfast. Rooms were upgraded as the hotel is older but were perfectly fine. It would have been great to have individual heating/cooling control in the room. It also would have been nice to know the pool was completely closed and undergoing long term reservations when booking.

The "4th floor premium experience" was not that amazing. Had to ask the front desk to come and clean the common lounge as the table had enough dust on it to write your name. I would not suggest upgrading to that feature. The regular rooms are exactly the same.

Had everything close by that we needed. The continental breakfast was great!

The housekeeping staff didn’t clean our room 2/3 of the days we were there. We even talked to them directly in the hallway & told them we would be out for the rest of the day & upon return our room hadn’t been cleaned. So we had to get more towels, face cloths, coffee etc., etc..🙄. Very frustrating!!

Guest should keep their plates inside their rooms and call front desk to pickup. There were some plates at the hallway for a longer time and it was given the hallway unpleasant smells. Not everyone likes certain food smells .

Breakfast was delicious, so was supper. The only thing I would have to criticize is that the room has very little counterspace. We were travelling for several days, and had quite a bit of extra luggage. There was no place for it and we had to put stuff on the bed when not in room. Other than that, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and our stay was pleasant.

Front desk resolved our situation immediately and moved us into an incredible room which wasn't expected at all!!

The first room we were in, had a smell to it. (Old motel smell) but I never reported it. I'd have livedwith it, it was what it was. But was moved due to the noisy pipes.

I liked everything that had to do with the hotel proper, namely thet they had a ladies only floor with its lounge and gym. It made me feel safe and protected. Staff was very friendly and helpful in any way. I would chose this hotel any time again.

The second night, (Saturday to Sunday), a very loud group of people came to the hotel at 1 pm, laughing (ok), screaming and yelling (not ok) and obviously continuing the party in one of the group member's room (not ok). This lasted for about an hour until they were silenced - too long for my likes, but maybe nobody complained right away. I didn't, because it was not on my floor. It was very uncomfortable.

Spacious rooms, very nice restaurant staff especially the ever smiling and polite white lady. The A/C in the room weren’t cooling well. But the spa bathroom, the hot tub at the pool were an exciting addition.

We are a family of 4 (with two adult sons) who needed to stay overnight in Grande Prairie on our leisure trip from Edmonton to northern BC. We had a mishap on the road, which caused us to arrive very late (3:30am). We called the hotel staff and they readily accommodated our special needs, confirmed the reservation, and allowed us to stay an extra hour past the check-out time in the morning to catch up on sleep. The two rooms (King suite and 2 Queen beds) were next to each other, very spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a very good sleep and were refreshed and ready to continue our trip in the morning. The hotel was conveniently located close to our route and had ample free parking.

The only thing that annoyed us was the excessive number of e-mails that the hotel sends with and without reason. For the one-night stay, we got about a dozen. When we needed to reconfirm our reservation because of the late arrival, they sent us 6 e-mails about this trivial function. But that's nothing. Everything was great.
