We came to check in around 11pm after our flight home from Puerto Vallarta. Tired from a long day, hassled, just wanting to crash. Unfortunately for us there was an incident that seemed to occur mere seconds before we walked through the front doors to check in. Alarms were blaring, lights flashing, everyone was evacuating their rooms with all their luggage in pajamas. It ended up being a mix-up with a distraught guest who either pulled the fire alarm or called 911 - so nothing to do with the hotel or staff themselves. It was manic, and everyone had to stand around outside for 30 minutes, fire department responded. In the midst of chaos we saw 2 front-desk staff members running around trying to fix everything, talking to guests, coordinating with first responders, trying to keep people happy and calm. Once everything resolved and people started filing back in, the staff were excellent in smoothing things over with everyone - including the young woman who had instigated the situation. They were very fair and reasonable with her and her companions. Bit of a crazy experience on check-in, but the staff did their utmost to keep everyone happy and feeling welcomed and valued. We didn't really use any amenities (we slept past breakfast because we were exhausted). The room was really clean and comfortable, with everything we could have needed. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable (pillows were a little small, but still comfortable). Bathroom was a nice size, shower was great, very clean. Would stay again and/or recommend. I wrote the review to make sure the front desk staff from that night received recognition for maintaining cool heads in a nutty situation, with good composure and excellent customer service with all guests in attendance (and especially with the guest who was struggling).

Close to the airport. Walking distance to a Tim Horton. Many good choices for breakfast. I love it that they have almond milk. Breakfast area was spacious, clean and nice. The restaurant in the hotel offers good ,reasonably priced menu. Comfy bed.. Great staff

They didn't reply to my inquiries in booking.com. Shuttle was 35 minutes late picking us up to the airport because there was a problem per front desk. Tip for others, shuttle is shared by several hotels in the area, so you will need to give enough time for pick up

I am usually accompanied by my husband. On this occasion I was returning alone. It was safe and easy to get from the airport to the hotel on the free airport shuttle. We stay at Wyndham every time we fly in and out of Edmonton. We appreciate the consistent cleanliness of the room and bathroom as well the most comfortable bed. Of all the hotels in the area, Wyndham's breakfast is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The breakfast is always the plus staying here. The location is perfect as well. Far enough from the city center to be comfortable.

The breakfast this time was in the cold side actually which was surprising.

Breakfast was great, good selection, lots of choices and plenty for everyone. Many other guests commented on the breakfast also, as heard in various conversations.

Bedding, I.e. sheets did not seem to be as clean as other hotels we stayed at during or trip. In other locations, sheets felt crisp and clean and you could tell the difference right away.

Fairly new hotel. Clean room, excellent bed. Included Breakfast was very good, lots of choices. Staff was very good. Chose this hotel because of it’s proximity to the airport.

Towels. If I was picky, the towels did not match the quality of the rest of the accommodation. A little on the thin side. Having said that, they were adequate.

The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Also, the staff was friendly (and bless the restaurant server's heart, she had to wait on every table by herself - she did a great job!)

The hot tub and steam room have seen better days. Last I checked, water is supposed to flow into the skimmer, but the water level was below it. And the steam room was lukewarm - hard to get your sweat on when the temperature doesn't even break 40c!

Close to airport with free shuttle bus to snd from. Comfortable room…we had the junior suite which gave us a sitting area as well as the bedroom area. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice of hot and cold food. We had a meal in the grill bar on our last evening and the food was excellent although a little pricey.

It would have been nice if there had been better instructions in the spa as to how to operate it.

Location and breakfast. Beds were amazingly comfortable.

Bathroom smelled (strong oder). Lots of mildew in shower in grout and door hinges. Had to leave fan on the keep the smell down.

Location and comfort were both exactly what we needed, bed was extremely comfortable. Staff and our meal in the restaurant and breakfast buffet were outstanding! Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
