It is right on the river and the grounds are beautiful. There are many outside spaces to enjoy the location. The room was small and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom could use some updating and could hear the people in the upstairs room.

Wonderful outdoor lawn overlooking the Campbell river. Great location off the street and on the river. Clean room with fridge, kettle and coffee maker; friendly staff. Entrance room was full of great memorabilia of early years as a salmon fishing mecca.

Older construction walls were thin and allowed some noise. Rooms were dated but served the purpose of a short stay.

The location on the river front is beautiful with birds, seals and sea lions right 'in your front yard'. The manager was exceptionally helpful and is progressively making improvements to what is an old hotel with potential. Alex on reception was great. Rooms are clean with a fridge, coffee machine, A/C and heater, shower and bath (with good hot water), TV & cable. Pizza, liquor store and some restaurants close by, 5 minutes walk to Walmart, 25 min walk to dock for some of the whale/bear tours and shopping centres. 2km to Elk Falls area. Bus routes to other parts of the town and beachfront are 2 blocks away.

Sound transference issues from the rooms above and beside may be an issue for some.

The lodge has a long history. It’s sad to see it in this state. The owner has done a great job at making it safe to stay at. The grounds are nice and the plus was they welcome furry friends. It was very quiet.

Out dated. The room was small, and the AC unit was very loud.

It's an economy motel, but was clean, smelled fine, and had friendly staff, plus it was on the river bank. Way better than most places that charge twice as much.

Ther isn't much to nit pick. I guess one could imagine the baseboard heater being washed more recently. Nothing you'd actually touch looked even a bit gungy.

Nice view, BBQ area and everything you need in the room. We had changed our plans and arrived late, after official check- in and it was all arranged for us, no hassle - thanks!

I didn't like the pillows but that's my personal taste

The location was magnificent. Right close to all amenities needed and the downtown core, Surrounded by fish jumping from the river view of the lawn area, seals feeding, Kayakers, snorkelers, all enjoying the river all at once. a beautiful view of nature at its best. Price was excellent for the room and view.

Water pressure & possibly taps can be updated a bit.

The overall stay was great - the check in process was fast and easy. The room was clean, quiet, had a lovely view of the river. The hotel was within walking distance to the heart of shopping districts. There were plenty of food options surrounding the area. Overall, it was a perfect place to decompress after a whole summer of hard work.

The only thing was the toilet had low suction so it took a couple tries to flush successfully. I'd have mentioned something to the ready-to-help staff if it were an easier fix - I made do, I only stayed two nights.

Beds like clouds. Stayed at the lodge on two separate occasions within a week. The rooms were clean beds in both rooms superbly comfortable. Host helpful and very accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay here. The facility has an old charm about it. However, very clean and looks out to the river. Cafe close by, only about a 5-10 minute walk.

I love the fenced in parking and locked gate access. The staff was very friendly and stayed later after my accident so I could check in. Thank you love it would stay again
