We have always enjoyed the stay in golden village appreciating the upgrading however I was shocked that the floor in a really nice room was very dirty. This is quite disconcerting and made me question the cleanliness of everything. I hate saying this because we have always stayed there now I'm not at all inclined as hygiene is a must especially these days. I'm sad to say this the folks we deal with are lovely there.

The room was more like an apartment. It had 3 queen beds and they were very comfortable. The air-conditioning was good without being too noisy. All the facilities were great, and you could walk next door to a good Indian restaurant.

The balcony we were supposed to have was just the rear walkway to other rooms and it overlooked a very close chalk face of what appeared to be a recent building site, or where the hillside was cut away to accommodate the building.

The rooms were renovated recently, laminate flooring and no carpeting, very clean and easily accessible just up a few stairs; Our rooms were beside each other like we asked, and for being beside the main highway, I was quite happy the traffic noise was not noticed at all! The queen size beds were exceptional!

I didn't like that the rooms didn't have a connecting door but that was minor... I didn't like how much it costs for one night but that's inflation... the bathroom was really small. Patio was kind of cramped but we didn't use it hardly so that's okay. The air-conditioner looked really old but we didn't need it.

The place was recently renovated - it had everything I wanted. Location was convenient, room and bed were comfortable and staff was nice.This was good spot to see the national park.

3 out of 4 nights we quiet but the final night next door neighbor was loud - walls are not very sound proof. Wifi was slow in the evenings when lots of people were using it, other times it was good.

The reason for a high rating for this is not that we stayed there. We booked the room at a very last minute before heading out to Banff from Edmonton. But we did not follow the signs that clearly indicated that the highway is closed near Golden. And Google Maps also did not inform us about it (Sad). The booking was non-refundable but Mr. Malik was very kind and he worked with Booking.com to make sure that he can give us 50% cancellation discount - something that we have not experienced with other non-refundable hotels / bookings. Thanks a lot Mr. Malik for all your help and I am sure, this hotel is being managed by people who are great and will make your stay comfortable and worth visiting. My wife and I will surely visit this hotel the next time we are at Banff.

The beds were comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. I was able to have a nice hot bath after my long drive. The views of the mountains around the motel were lovely! They moved us from a second floor room to the main floor.

The person/people in the room beside either had the TV on all night or had company until around 1 or 2am, because I could hear them. The walls are not very thick.

This place worked just fine. Clean, no smells, very little noise from other units. Location was good. Loved having a Indian restaurant right next door. We ate there and it was good.

Internet is not good. Kept logging off. Very frustrating. Did not like how other renters congregated in front of our window and talked. Sounds of trucks using their jake brake coming down the hill got real old. Parking stalls are too small.

Location was great. Just off the highway. We just needed a place to rest to break our trip back home. Clean and comfortable.

The parking lot is a bit crowded. I wasn’t able to park my car right outside my room. A bit pricey for a basic motel but it’s clean and has comfortable beds.

The hotel has a great location right off the highway exit, but it was surprisingly quiet with beautiful mountain views. The rooms were nice and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly.

The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the parking lot is somewhat small.

Room was very clean, double queens, lots of room. updated more modern design. new windows totally blocked out the highway noise. Excellent Indian restaurant beside motel. Best value and price I could find. Golden is expensive due to its location for travel.
