Canyon Ridge Lodge located in a quiet residential area on the north side of the highway. Private parking is on site. A boot/drying room is in the entrance where the b&b guests washing machine and dryer is located. Indoor slippers are provided. Rooms do not have AC but our ceiling fan was perfectly adequate. The room was spacious with good storage and a modern en-suite with bath/shower. The guest communal lounge has comfortable seating and a tea, coffee making facility and fresh water. Access to the garden and hot tub from the lounge. All areas were spotlessly clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and Kat, our hostess, kept us entertained with her ‘local’ knowledge while cooking eggs to order. Her knowledge included best Golden restaurants as well as places of interest within a day drive, or more. As well as up to date information on any roads which remained closed after winter.

Kat was a great host - very efficient, bubbly and friendly. Hot tub on the back deck. Loved the location - at the end of a cul-de-sac in a beautiful forest. Could watch the wildlife from our window and see deer tracks in the snow in the morning. Easily the most beautiful location in Golden, about 3 Km outside of town. Needs a car to get there. We had the self contained apartment, which was lovely and although we did not expect any housekeeping, Kat did come and service the apartment twice during our 8 day stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and even supplied baking paper! Highly recommend it!

Excellent standard of decor and accommodation. Wonderful, friendly hosts who gave us plenty of sightseeing and restaurant tips. Very good WiFi. Really quiet location in a wooded setting with snow capped mountains all around. Hot tub for customers to use. Excellent selection of breakfast items Shared living room for guests, which was a great place to meet and talk to other travellers. Coffee and tea making facilities to be found in this room. Absolutely nothing

Perfect location on the outskirts of a golden for exploring much of the area. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. It was lovely to chat and get ideas about plans for the day, Kat and Paul were most welcoming. We would certainly book here again if we were visiting this area, thankyou, it was lovely to meet you all. Kicking horse mountain, Emerald lake, and all the waterfalls are a must!

Very friendly and helpful host. Prepared very good breakfast and gave us lots of good recommendations about what to do in the area. Also had facilities like washing machine and tumble drier, tea/coffee maker, jacuzzi. Little details like a well thought through wardrobe/storage. Location nicely green with garden (with little downside of driving to town).

Bedroom a bit small. Location outside of Golden so had to use car for evening eating.

Super friendly host. Kat was so kind waiting for us till late night for check-in as we got stuck in a traffic jam due to Hwy1 reconstruction, and very welcoming from the first moment of our arrival. Room was clean and cozy, bed is comfy, all necessary accessories were available. Great breakfast, the host made eggs for us. She had options of plant based milk and gluten free bread. Prolific table full of fruits, cereals and other snacks. Kat shared a lot of useful information about the local scenic places. Thanks to her we visited the beautiful waterfall which we didn't plan visiting first. Great stay! Thank you for everything

The location was great, close to the mountain and downtown. Our hosts were a wealth of knowledge and gave us great recommendations (of note, the Indian Restaurant was amazing and pick their brains about recent snow conditions if you plan a visit to Kicking Horse). The space they have provided for their guests is impeccable; super cozy beds, a common space that included a refrigerator and tea/coffee station, and fun luxurious extras such as a heated towel rack.

The room with a king bed was very comfortable. The common room , that is shared by the three guest rooms, was large with a beverage center that was well stocked. The breakfast selections included fresh cut fruit , cold cereal choices, yogurt, orange juice , coffee , tea , scrambled eggs and toast. Meeting guests from around the world is always a plus. Kat and Paul were perfect hosts . They were both very friendly and helpful.

We believe only that the innkeepers might consider attaching a handle on the wall next to the shower that would assist in more safely leaving the high sides of the bathtub.

We really rarely rate, but here we just have to... What a fantastic accommodation!!! It feels like you are staying with in house and every time we came back from our day trip we said, this is like coming home! Kat & Paul are fantastic, the breakfast is great, there are free drinks and the hot tub is an absolute highlight. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much!

Canyon Ridge is such a gorgeous property! Excellent location in a quiet residential area with beautiful garden and jacuzzi. The host is amazing, Kat was so helpful, provided great advice for timings to move around the area and places to have dinner. Her breakfast are a feast!! Everything you can wish for, is there and she gave us fruit to take in our walks with us. Canyon Ridge is perfectly located to visit Golden suspension bridge, Buffalo Farm and YOho National Park.
