A great chalet with a beautiful view of the valley. Very friendly staff and a great location. My wife loved the hot tub on the terrace and my children enjoyed the entertainment. We also enjoyed one of the walks from the hotel, and went frequently to the nearby town of Golden. It was a great place to explore the wider region including Banff, Lake Louise, Kicking Horse Ski area and the Golden Skybridges.

Although it is called Cedar House "Restaurant" and Chalets (apparently the restaurant used to be one of the best in BC), there is no restaurant! So we ate in Golden, which was no problem, as there is plenty of choice, from cafes to bars to fine dining.

Mayda the manager was so welcoming and so sweet. The chalet was large and comfortable. One of the beds was like a fluffy cloud. I would come back.

We stayed in the sunflower and the chalet itself was great. The lot outside is not super pretty and it's not landscaped and just rocks and such. There's also a work station right across . We had issues with the hot tub that couldn't be resolved like error codes and the jets not functioning properly.

Beautiful location and neat and clean complete unit for stay for 2 people. Unit has all the facilities like, refrigerator, dish washer, oven micro wave laundry and barbecue facilities. Moreover it is all clean - be linen, washroom etc..

The unit is over priced a bit. It should be around 250 CAD per night.

stunning, spacious, chalet with excellent facilities including a fabulous bbq in the balcony. nothing has been overlooked in providing a great outfit including a huge fridge and freezer for all the supplies you need. pristine cleanliness on arrival. after a great day in the mountains, you can't beat sitting in a hot tub looking out over beautiful scenery. Golden is an outdoor playground with access to days upon days of fun and this chalet complex just outside town is the perfect finishing touch to the experience.

This is a gem of a place remarkably close to Golden and the Trans Canada highway but feels remote and very private. Surrounded by forest, the chalets are each separated enough that we felt alone on the property. It was very relaxing, especially with our own very private hot tub. We loved the attention to detail as everything was thought of (apart from salt and pepper for the kitchen).

The well advertised restaurant hasn't been open since COVID so that needs to be changed on the website.

I lovely property we already miss. The chalet has all you need to enjoy nature and adventure. We were with our two dogs who loved the experience and the property is pet friendly, we will return for sure.

Mosquitoes but the chalet has protection in the window to avoid them.

Gorgeous property. Private and quiet. Loved the hot tub and the view from it. Nice interior layout of the suite and we really enjoyed the sun room.

At $400 a night, I don’t feel we should have to empty garbages and recycling, but that seems to be the direction most places are going. There could have been more cookware available.

Great house in an amazing position, felt nicely out the way and like we had the mountains to our selves. The team team at Cedar were lovely , highly recommended.

Great location for travelling around the national parks. Super easy check-in, looks exactly like the photos if not better. Great hosts, would definitely recommend 10/10

Lovely location and exceptional facilities for a small family. We didnt see Boo the bear but felt at peace with nature. Very close to Emerald lake and Wapta falls. The sky bridge was closed due to the wildfires but there is plenty to keep you busy
