Beautiful lodge, comfortable rooms, very quiet. The continental breakfast was appreciated, and the sauna and hot tub were wonderful.

There are way too few hooks in the rooms. We also saw a staff member 2 times total in the duration of our 5 night stay. Breakfast items, water, etc. seemed to be stocked once a day, and were sometimes cleared out the night before. There was no sink or paper towel in the main area, which was mildly inconvenient if you spilled something or wanted to wash your hands. Also, when booking, it mentioned there was a restaurant on site. There was not, and we were only informed of it in the printed letter provided upon checking in, and then several days later by booking.

very scenic location, great to be close to, but not on top of all the ski activities. Our room was large, with comfortable king size bed and patio with back access. There were very few hanging places for coats etc., the closet area was taken up with the fridge and coffee making facilities, and only 2 dining style chairs to sit/hang things over. The bathroom was large, but not a good use of space, no hooks except behind the door or shelves for toiletries etc. also, it was a shame that the breakfast goods were all pre packaged, so much waste was generated, with no recycling. All in all a lovely lodge, the main lounge was cosy, we oldies spent a lot of time relaxing there and enjoyed chatting to the friendly, helpful and efficient staff. But you are missing a trick with seemingly small details that are actually quite important when guests think about re booking.

Lovely facility and room.

Location was a long distance from town, and an email was sent with directions to enter building with a code for the door. The place seemed deserted when we arrived and had a hard time figuring out which door to enter. Dinner options not good in nearby resort. Breakfast fell short of expectations. Staff person arrived after us and never saw him again until breakfast. You cannot pull your car close to unload and must climb stairs with bags to enter.

Nice hot tub, very clean, though a tad too hot for some. Unlimited tea and coffee in lounge area.

The room was quite small for 4 of us, limited space for bags. Room was only made up for 2 people in terms of cups, towels etc, despite booking being for 4. The lounge was such a nice area, but was used predominately by 2 families with loud young children, so could not use it as a relaxation space in allocated hours.

The lodge was lovely, staff exceptionally friendly. Bistro food was very good. I would suggest that the breakfast could have some more cold options other than cereal and toast. Local bakery products, boiled eggs, fresh local bagels, (loved the homemade granola BTW), fresh muffins rather than packaged (over processed). It would be nice to have an infra red Sauna and a hot tub to make the lodge experience more valueblen for money.

Snow conditions. But you can’t control that. We came to ski but decided not to spend the $. Hiked, snowmobile and cross country all excellent. The jets in the bathtub did. It work.

Gorgeous space with kind and helpful staff! The shared space downstairs was a bonus as well as fridge in the room and lovely balcony area with chairs and loungers to lie on.

Only thing we would change is the location in the summer is a little isolated - but as long as you have a car you can get into Golden which has a supermarket etc. Also, there isn’t a restaurant in summer but you can walk 5mins to Peaks Grill which is great. Mosquitos were quite bad too but not the fault of the hotel!

Check in was seamless, the guy working there was really nice. The room was spacious and had an amazing view. The bathroom was enormous. Hot tub much appreciated. Breakfast was basic but fresh. The pillows were the comfiest I've ever slept on.

No recycling in the room, our first one like this since being in Canada. You may miss AC, we felt the room was fine without it.

Cosy lodge, tastefully decorated, with beautiful fireplaces, great amenities, the most comfortable beds and to top it all, fantastic staff, friendly and efficient… making our stay just perfect. The hot tub and sauna after a day of skiing were a hoot as was the location (easy walk to the gondola and from the pistes). We will come again !

Love the log house ,hot tub on site, beautiful mountain view,near to attractions, away from city crowd, care taker is so helpful and friendly.

Their coffee maker in the common area is not friendly use little bit complicated some guest is complaining about it , I wish they put some instruction to the wall where it was located .

What a gorgeous authentic ski lodge. Furnished with luxurious comfort, big open fire. Lovely room beautifully decorated. Restaurant next door. Staff cleared the fresh snow away from our car, such a great treat. Excellent, friendly staff. Excellent location, amazing views of the forest. Fabulous ski and heated boot storage room.

Breakfast was very basic. Cereal, toast, yoghurt. Would have loved some fresh pastries and a hot protein option. Would be great to have milk available all day for when making a hot drink.
