The lovely Jeannie is a great host. She makes sure that you have everything you need and she welcomed us in person and showed us what's what. Here you have your own separate entrance. There is a beautiful garden and hot tub, which we didn't get to enjoy unfortunately. In the morning, Jeannie came down with a huge breakfast of pancakes, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, maple syrup, yogurt and fresh fruit, fresh croissants, tea/coffee/juice and home-baked cookies. It was too much but it was delicious! We had nice chats with Jeannie and we think she's got a lovely b&b going on. Very caring host. It's perfect for a one night stay on your way through.

The location is in a suburb of Golden and we had to drive about 10 mins to go for dinner, which some folk won't mind (but we had done a lot of driving that day...). This is no fault of the host but there were 100s of mosquitoes that attacked us between the car and the front door!

Everything. A large, warm, beautifully furnished property with every comfort provided supplemented with a delicious breakfast. Jeanie was a most hospitable host who managed her property professionally using all her experience and warmth of character. It was partly about attention to detail such as keeping everything spotlessly clean, changing towels each day, or providing a pot of coffee half an hour before serving breakfast.

Everything!!! The ambience was just so cute! The beautiful garden, the view of the mountains and valley(not to mention the hot tub overlooking it) and our lovely accommodation ! Everything was thought of and super comfortable! I loved all the collectables that were around the rooms, it gave it very ‘Canadian’ vibe. Our breakfast was amazing…. and too much, but it was soo delicious we had to eat it all 😃 Most of all our host was so helpful and super friendly!!! We are both well traveled and she would definitely be up there as a favourite super host. ❤️ Only regret we weren’t able to stay longer!

It was a little bit out of town, but in actual fact we preferred this … so really wasn’t an issue!!!

Deer Ridge B&B was so much nicer than we expected! Jeannie is the kindest host and made us incredible breakfasts every day, which she brought down to the suite. (Think homemade croissants and jam, frittatas, French toast, etc.) She really goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable, but without being overwhelming or intrusive. (Her other half was away so we didn't get to meet him.) The suite itself is huge, very well equipped, and very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and totally stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels, etc. The beds are THE MOST COMFORTABLE I've ever slept in, I swear. Soft and cushy and beautiful cozy sheets and duvets. It's very quiet and dark for an amazing night's sleep. The outdoor hot tub has a nice view across the valley and there are extra towels and robes and slippers to wear on your way out to the hot tub and back. There were so many thoughtful little touches in the experience offered here, and we appreciated it more than we can say.

It was actually perfect and the only sad thing is that we couldn't stay forever.

We stayed one night at Deer Ridge on our road trip through the Rockies. Very comfortable rooms, very clean, good facilities, we made use of the BBQ. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was really nice, freshly cooked and served in the accommodation. Freshly made cookies given to us on departure which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The surrounding nature is beautiful, the location is convenient, and it feels like home. Attention to every little detail makes it very cozy and welcoming. The breakfast was also excellent. The hosts are lovely people. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to everyone.

Lovely place to stay, everything you might need. Really friendly. Great breakfast. Beautiful location. Lovely hot-tub. I’d recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet and comfort. We walked into town in the evening which took about 45 minutes and got a cab back.

Jeannie is a wonderful hostess and the freshly made breakfasts are delicious. Recommendations for local information was excellent. The property is beautiful with flowers and neat landscaping. Mountain View’s and the hot tub were special treats.

Our hosts Jeannie and Jerry were wonderful, they were friendly and knowledgeable. We really appreciate their warm welcome and going the extra mile to make our stay wonderful, so much so we didn't want to leave. Jeanne's cooking was perfect. A real treat to have stayed and would definitely stay again if we returned.

Jeannie is a wonderful host . Her two bed room private suite is nicely decorated , warm, quiet , clean and feel very much like a home away from home. Jeannie made cookies to welcome us and her breakfast was delicious abs healthy ! The hot spa experience in her enclosed garden fills with beautiful flowers was a hi light of our stay . We would love to be back and visit her again !
