We liked the location because it was close to restaurants, a good bakery, etc. Very easy, we received a code to get into our room so you don't need a key or key card. We had a parking spot at the reserved parking the first night but there wasn't one on our second night. Luckily, we could find one close by as well. I love that you have fridges in most hotels here.

Most hotels here have carpets so for people like me with a dust allergy, it is a bit trickier. The room was clean, so it's more a warning for people with allergies. Bring your tablets. :-)

Clean, roomy, and comfortable room with a nice kitchenette. Two chairs with table to sit and enjoy coffee. Centrally located in downtown Golden with restaurants, bars, grocery, and a river walk all close by

The hotel rooms are above a bar and grill. Amazingly quiet until the band starting playing on Saturday night and we could hear the bass player - he must have had his amp leaned against the wall because we didn’t hear anything but the bass in the wall.

It was great! It’s like a small apartment rather than just a hotel room. It has everything you need to spend a few days and explore around. ( sink and microwave and toaster, coffee machine, cutlery, plates and glasses, nice flat TV and sofa), we felt “at home” for the long weekend.

Maybe that it missed a hair dryer in the room? But minor comment honestly. It was great!!! 😊

Comfortable, clean room. Convenient for downtown Golden, close to local amenities and the river. The hotel has no reception (comprising a series of rooms above restaurant and bar) but the host responded quickly to text messages/requests. Guests get a 20% discount on food purchased at the Rockwater Grill & Bar 🙂

Nicely styled and spacious room, with a nice clean bathroom. Good to have the sofa bed and the linen ready to go. No noise from the bar for us, though others had commented on this in their reviews. Good aircon!

The smell in the entrance/stairs was horrible! Our room had no view/looked out on renovations in an internal roof area.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, bed comfy and it was nice to be able to watch Netflix. There was plenty of towels in the bathroom and we like the little design made with it. We had a 20% discount at the restaurant downstairs. The food eas delicious.

The only negative point was the smell of bleach when we entered the room but except that it was all good 👍

It was comfortable, nicely decorated and conveniently located, quiet despite being over a pub. There was a sitting area (sofa), which was nice.

There was a coffee maker but no coffee or tea. Nice hand soap in the bathroom but no soap/ shampoo for the shower. The room was a bit dark with only one window, taken up by a/c. Minor things for a short stay.

Didn’t bother me, but it’s up some steps - no elevator. Would not recommend for single female travelers, room was great and secure with inside only access, but access to the floor was not secured by a key or keycard. No office, everything via text. Again, great for me, but maybe not everyone.

I ate at the bistro downstairs, and the food was very good. Getting a discount as a guest was a bonus. The room was very comfortable and well appointed.,

The window mounted aircon duct let a little noise in, but not too bothersome.

The air con was amazing. Room was spacious, bed was comfy, bathroom was perfect.

Felt a little insecure as there is only 1 locked door between your room and outside but overall felt relatively safe.
