This is a great place to stay when visiting Yoho National Park. While it's about 7 miles outside Golden, it is at the base of a ski mountain with beautiful views and very peaceful, much nicer than Golden which is a rather drab town. There are some restaurants at the resort although we always drove into Golden for more choices. The condo is large, beautifully furnished, with very, very comfortable beds. We had a patio unit with a door from our bedroom as well as the living room. It had a fireplace, a closet with a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The living/dining room was big enough.

I liked everything.

Location is very pretty with great views and quiet. Room is like an apartment with good quality machines. Used the laundry facilities in the room. Products (lotions etc) were also good ones.

Could have had an iron in room, but one brought up on request. Also no drying racks, but they had a tumble dryer. Somebody needs to give the walls a wipe as you sit at the dining table you are suddenly aware of a whole host of spills that have occurred to your left across most of the wall from head height down. A shame as the cleaning standard otherwise was very good.

ski in ski out with ski lockers provided. and what can I say, kicking horse is one of the best ski resort! :) Good to have spa.

Relatively expensive with small room, but that's just how things are for ski in ski out accommodation I suppose. Also be aware which building you stay at, main reception only @ Glacier lodge, you have to check in and out there despite which building you actually stay in. Not that easy of a walk with luggages... also mountaineer lodge has lots stairs to climb, painful with luggage.

Fantastic large suite at a very reasonable price. Used both the outdoor hot tub and the small gym. All facilities well kept and in good condition. Very welcome to see the inclusion of both a washer and tumble drier within the room. Water pressure was fantastic and the kitchen was very well supplied. Could not recommend more. Resort is only a short drive from Golden (which we both really enjoyed seeing).

Public car park is a gravel laid patch that meant the car got filthy following a spout of overnight rain.

We were in a third floor apartment with balcony which had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. A fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Car parking was included.

We struggled to access the room as the room numbering system wasn't explained. We were trying to access the wrong apartment. Additionally, the property is a ski-lodge/hotel and had many amenities open in the summer which we weren't aware of until 2 days into our stay as they are to the rear of the hotel. I think it could be made clearer what shops and activities, ski lifts, etc., are open for our use during the summer months. The venetian blinds in the bedroom need attention. Some of the slats were bent/buckled and looked unsightly. Not a good first impression when you walk in the room. Also, the balcony railings moved when touched. This is something that needs looking at as they appeared loose and unsafe.

The ski lodge was a beautiful setting for our September stay in Golden. The room was somewhat cozy but adequate for our stay for a single night. The room was clean and the staff hospitable.

Like some other ski resort lodges that we have stayed in, this one is to dark inside the common areas to sit and read or anything of the sort. Also, the elevator was not working (perhaps that is why we received a reduced rate), but hopefully that was a one-off experience (we had to climb two rather long flights of stairs to our room). Unless you pay extra to park in the indoor garage in the building, you will likely have a long trek to the gravel parking lot. Even so, I think we would stay again if traveling in the area.

This was one of our favourite hotels from this trip. Staff at check in were really friendly. The room was really lovely and had everything we could need. Bed were comfy, room was clean and we slept well and the room was lovely and quiet.

If you visit in the summer like we did, the location is not the best, but it would be great for skiers in the winter. It is a good 15 minute drive into Golden, with no stores open up there, apart from a small convenience store which has very very limited hours. Worth it for the cheap price in the summer for us. Parking was limited, but as it was so quiet we always had a space. I can imagine parking could get tricky in the winter. They do have paid underground parking, which I imagine would be worth it in the winter.

We had a two bedroom suite facing the ski hill. Location was about 12km out of town. The room was great, spacious and well layed out. The balcony was a perfect place for morning coffee and look at the mountains. Having a restaurant and convenience store on site was a bonus (we were told Golden restaurants will not deliver there). Wifi was strong. The amenities included, Fireplace , stove, oven, coffee maker, washer and dryer.

The only No AC. It was very hot (34 - 35 degrees Celsius). They did offer a few fans which helped. It's a perfect room for Ski season as you only a few meters from the Gondola, but in the heat of summer , it can become uncomfortable. As you are in the mountains it did cool down somewhat at night, but having an AC unit would have given this resort a 10+.

The room was fantastic and the view was perfect. The bed was pretty hard but not terrible. That is a hard thing to perfect for everyone because it's such a personal preference. We were very happy with it and will be back.

The steam room is not working and seems like it won't ever but the sauna and hot tub were fantastic. The coffee pot in the room didn't have the correct top and it was a bit tricky to balance it on to drip but was manageable for sure.
