The view of the inlet was wonderful and the customer service was unparallel. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. I arrived about 2 hours past my estimated arrival time due to Ferry delays. It was also 3 hours past the facility check in policy. Yet the gentleman still waited for me and was in the office about 2 minutes after my arrival despite his sleeping quarters being in another building. I also enjoy the conversation with the gentleman upon checking out as he presented as a well travelled individual and versed in conversational Spanish.

I could not point out any thing that I did not like.

Peaceful. Beautiful view, with a nice deck overlooking the harbour. Comfortable room with a functioning kitchenette. We stayed for 5 days and made most of our meals in the room. 2 minute drive to shopping, coffee shop, restaurants. Short walk up a (steep) hill to a pub and restaurant. Lots to do in the area, from Egmont to Gibsons.

We stayed in the older section of the resort and the room was a little dated. The ceiling was thin and at times the noise from people walking back and forth was a little irritating (but mostly it was fine). The futon in the living room that functions as a couch was a little too firm.

The amazing location together with the friendly staff and the various extra amenities make this place a perfect spot for a family getaway. We stayed in the executive chalet and the unit was perfect for our needs. The many amenities including the steam shower and jacuzzi made our staying special and relaxing. It’s the second year we are back and everything met the expectations. We rented a boat to explore the area by the water and that was so easy and well organized that we ended up doing it again the second day. There were also some nice new adds to the playground that made my kids so happy. We will be back for sure in the future!

Everything! Hired their boat for a couple of hours which was worth every cent. Dustin helped enormously … where to fish, how to use the boat etc. We were lucky enough to see a whale which circled around us for a while. The room (208) had an amazing view of the harbour. The prettiest I have ever seen. Lounge, bedroom and bathroom all large. Bedding and bed is the best too! Dustin keeps the grounds looking beautiful. Plenty of local eateries to choose from. Lovely pub within walking distance. There was even a living flame log effect fire in the lounge area. Both lounge and bedroom overlooked the harbour. We also had a large balcony with table and 4 chairs. Coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and cooker. This was the highlight ‘hotel’ of our 3 week trip! Thank you to both Dustin and Zeb for looking after us.

Nothing. Couldn’t fault it.

The location was fantastic, offering a wonderful view from the room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the spacious bathroom added to the comfort. Zeb was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing valuable advice on hiking and running trails, as well as suggesting hidden gem destinations to explore. We also took advantage of the discounted kayaking offer for guests, which added to our enjoyment. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we look forward to returning this summer, and hopefully every year thereafter

After making our reservation, I received a quick and kind response when I reached out with a special request. The place has a great view, a fantastic location, and is clean and well-equipped with amenities like a fireplace, BBQ, and hot tub. Our kids and a friend especially enjoyed the stay, made even better by Zebby’s thoughtful service. He gave us a thorough introduction to the facilities and provided a warm welcome. We look forward to visiting again!

Location is amazing, just in front of the bay, with beautiful views and stunning sunsets. The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. They accommodated for an extra bed when we arrived and provided insightful information about the surroundings.

We didn’t have any issues but if we wanted to make a full use of the kitchen, some tools/cutlery would have been missed. However, given the support we received from the desk, I would not anticipate any issues if we had to reach out to them to solve the problem.

My ground-level room had a nice view of the harbour and the boats. The spacious apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and clean. Ground-level is two floors down from the lobby because the entire facility is built into the hillside. It's not a problem as there is an elevator for ferrying luggage up and down, however, if you want to explore the facility at sea-level, there are numerous stairs to navigate. Good for your leg muscles!

The beds are tall! I'm short. It was interesting to get in and out. Comfortable though.

It was so peaceful. The staff member who helped us was very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. They even turned on the fireplace before our arrival and upgraded our room because the resort wasn't busy. We loved the hot tub, the bed was so comfortable.

The fridge in the unit was a bit small for a longer stay. For us it didn't matter because we were only there one night.

Stunning view overlooking the Garden Bay, the property is high enough to have that view even we're on the bottom-most floor of the building. Kayaking is great easy activities with kids. You simply ask at the reception, walk down to the dock, grab a kayak & all the accessories then there you go -- quiet paddling around the bay/ harbour. The hot tub w/ massaging jets is a must try. Soaking in warm water relaxed while watching the best view from the sun deck is an amazing experience you won't forget -- remember to ask someone to take a photo for you to keep your memories alive for years! One surprise for us was that we found wild blackberries lined up for picking right in front of our door step of our room! We picked some and they tasted as good as or even better than those we've got from supermarkets. :)

There's not restaurant in the property, which is a pity. We need to go around for meals. It seems that the property is somewhat under-staffed (probably impacted by the pandemic & not yet fully recovered afterwards). We have to wait quite a bit to get someone to arrange us the kayak. Reception is often empty, needing guests to call to get served -- although they're around the property working on various stuffs. Finally, it's slightly pricy but still a memorable experience.
