Very good room, fantastic helpful staff, clean, and very comfortable Park in front of your door New bathroom remodel in our room(26), great tub for a hot bath after a long day Laundry available, which was an added bonus while traveling Ice machine is very nice in lobby as well for short trips, etc Had a great stay, would certainly return Their rating should be higher as they are great motel offering all amenities one wants while traveling. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were Super clean and tidy, very impressive

FYI Umbrella to cover the pic nic table, where smokers are as it's pretty hot there, easy fix drill in to your pic nice table, and done! Would be a nice touch for them

The motel is conveniently located along the main road so it was perfect for our one night stay as we travelled through Nelson. We were travelling with our two large dogs so we appreciated that we were upgraded for free as the room type I booked was apparently quite small. The room was quite basic but had most everything that we needed for a one night stay and we all appreciated the air conditioning as it was about 35C that day!

Personally I found the bed a bit too firm and uncomfortable, and there was no hair dryer (not the end of the world but I do prefer to dry my hair and hadn’t packed one because we were camping for a few days before and didn’t have the space). The room was a little worse for wear (but not unclean) perhaps because it’s a pet friendly room but the bathroom door was all scratched up at the bottom, not much of the room had been updated, things like that, so it felt like we paid way more than it was worth especially with the extra $40 charge for our two dogs, it was about $196 for one night, I feel like it should have been more in the $90-100 range before pet fees. I also found a huge spider in the bathroom so that was gross.

The staff were wonderful—friendly and very accommodating. Although it’s an older motel, the rooms have been nicely renovated, are very clean, and well located. It was perfect for us as a couple traveling with picnic gear and larger luggage. The motel works well whether you’re staying short-term in an economy room or longer in a queen or king. Highly recommend if you value easy access to your car and a relaxed, practical stay, and aren’t too concerned about stylish décor.

The beds are comfortable, though the pillows weren’t to our taste (we brought our own).

The staff were incredibly friendly and polite! Clean, bigger rooms than a standard queen in our opinion. Quiet & location was great for us as we had our dog and the beach was a quick 2 min walk away

Being a dog-friendly motel (with a fee), it's the only one we've stayed at in western Canada that doesn't offer pet amenities, ie anything from a bed, bowls, treats, poop bags or toys or otherwise for the fee of having our dog with us. The motel might as well charge a fee for children as it was no different than us with a our quiet & behaved dog.

The motel is close to city centre. It was a clean facility with comfortable beds and a full bathroom with a tub which my wife really appreciated. ALSO, I had forgotten my cell phone in the room and they held it until my son who was in that region could pick it up for me a few days later. They also made certain that it was indeed my son who was retrieving the phone and not someone unauthorized to take it.

The motel was adjacent to narrow road with no safe walkway or walking path for exercise or exploration of the area.There are homes behind the motel but have been built on a comparitively steep hill suitable for walking for younger, fit people but would be more challenging for older seniors ( my wife is 79 and I am 81 years ). This is not a significant issue for us, however, as we would be happy to book a room there again if we return to Nelson B.C.

The room we rented was a very comfortable suite suitable for a family. The two bedrooms in the suite were fairly small but were okay. The windows were insulated so one could not hear the noise from Highway 3a.

The two bathrooms were a bit dated, and there was only a basic supply of kitchen utensils, especially cutlery. The stairs might be a problem for some guests. Having two bathrooms in the suite was a real bonus.

The location was very convenient and we were able to park right outside our room. The room had a surprisingly large TV, which we didn't use but were pleased with. The Wifi was good.

We would have appreciated more coffee in the room. More than one cup per person. Unfortunately the location of the Air Conditioner meant the bathroom got really cool but the main room did not cool down.

Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Staff were helpful when needed (Thanks for the Umbrella, was raining and they provided me with one). I have stayed here before a bit older but great for a comfortable sleep.

Basic place to stay, so no frills or anything just a place to get a nights rest. Place is older but clean. Location is a bit off from downtown but only a few minutes drive.

For an older hotel it was wonderful. It was clean and the staff was kind, helpful and accommodating.

We couldn’t figure out how to get the bathroom light to come on but we didn’t ask for help. We also didn’t care for people smoking outside but do understand that to be a challenge. The furniture was a bit worn but it was clean and that didn’t affect our comfort.

The location was fairly good, very close to downtown, and the lake, rooms were clean, fairly recently updated, and the rates were reasonable.

Double beds- Queens would be ideal for families, especially our preteen and teen sharing a bed presented some comfort complaints. My wife and I are bigger folks and we both felt we’d have better sleeping experiences with a bigger bed. Otherwise I would recommend this particular room for couples without kids.
