The motel is close to city centre. It was a clean facility with comfortable beds and a full bathroom with a tub which my wife really appreciated. ALSO, I had forgotten my cell phone in the room and they held it until my son who was in that region could pick it up for me a few days later. They also made certain that it was indeed my son who was retrieving the phone and not someone unauthorized to take it.

The motel was adjacent to narrow road with no safe walkway or walking path for exercise or exploration of the area.There are homes behind the motel but have been built on a comparitively steep hill suitable for walking for younger, fit people but would be more challenging for older seniors ( my wife is 79 and I am 81 years ). This is not a significant issue for us, however, as we would be happy to book a room there again if we return to Nelson B.C.

The location was fairly good, very close to downtown, and the lake, rooms were clean, fairly recently updated, and the rates were reasonable.

Double beds- Queens would be ideal for families, especially our preteen and teen sharing a bed presented some comfort complaints. My wife and I are bigger folks and we both felt we’d have better sleeping experiences with a bigger bed. Otherwise I would recommend this particular room for couples without kids.

These are very clean , well laid out Rooms !The Beds are just the right firmness , a rare thing these Days ! I loved the Bathroom ! It would be something I would like in my own Home . Everything looked new in the Room , the nice Lady at the front Desk even got some Tylenol for me! . This is my go-to place in Nelson from now on . It is a very good value for the Money , and the people are nice(that matters!).

Villa Motel was a perfect experience. We have stayed in Nelson many times, but not here. It will be our go to next time. Bed was SO comfortable, and having a pet with us was not an inconvenience. Staff were friendly, and let us check in early as it was pouring rain! Not fun walking around Nelson in the pouring rain! They were very accommodating. Room was very clean. Will stay again, and highly recommend it.

The weather could have been better, so we could have walked our dog down to the lake and enjoyed it. However, we needed the rain so can't complain!

We’ve stayed here both times we’ve visited Nelson because the rooms are a great size, they’re comfortable, pet friendly and the staff are great. It’s affordable and easy to get into during the shoulder season, we love this little motel stop during our road trip. It’s also across the bridge from the beautiful park where you can walk your pup.

The only thing is the location if you want food or shopping, you’ll likely have to drive to get something. Not a big issue for us.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and so very accommodating. The room was extremely clean and the motel was close to downtown. It was very affordable and exceeded our expectations. We would stay again!

The staff is amazing, the rooms are always exceptionally clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable. It’s quiet, cozy and makes for a perfect stay.

I booked the kitchenette suite and the kitchen lacked some basic essentials, (spatula, cheese grater, and water glasses) however it was a bit of a juggle to cook, it would not hinder me from booking again.

Large room, comfy, little view of the lake, peaceful. Ok parking with the little trailer we have. Very clean.

No microwave in room. Had to lug food to the lobby & cook in there. Light switch in bathroom controlled one of the sockets which left our plug in travel freezer 'off' for the night (& we hadn’t realized ). No freezer in provided room fridge. Oh, & the usual dog fees & nothing provided for them like most places 😢 . Small shower with no place to rest soaps or shampoo….

Staff was great! Very polite and courteous. Onlynissue we had was a small campfire smoke smell on checkin. Told the front desk, wasnt bothered by it. They cleaned the unit the next day while we were gone! They even checked in to see if we were satisfied!
