This property was absolutely beautiful. There are two pools - one for families (with a water slide) and one for adults. This is such a great idea - as a parent, it's really nice to know that the kids can play and be loud, and that adults who don't want to be disturbed have somewhere to go to relax, and we won't be bothering them. Plus the family pool still has a hot tub, so parents don't have to just wade around, and can still relax. The restaurant was also fantastic - excellent menu with creative dishes that was a bit of an indigenous fusion concept that worked very well. The rooms were also very well appointed, and parking was not a problem. I'm very much looking forward to staying here again.

The kid's pool and water slide is all at your own risk, which I think is fine, but the water slide doesn't open until 10, which is 3 hours after the pool opens. I don't really understand the reason for this, since there aren't life guards any way, and it meant our kid couldn't use it on our last day, which was a bit disappointing. This is a very minor note though, and obviously it didn't make a big impact on our overall experience.

THE suite was exceptionally, quiet, clean, spacious. We were surprised by the separate bedrooms and two baths. THe views from the room were wonderful We enjoyed our wine tasting. We think the one thing we were the most impressed with was you exceptionally friendly staff. Our compliments to your establishment for the whole stay.

We were not too impressed with our visit to your museum which was 1 film and a small room next to it with a few artifacts from the past. The cost was quite high and the biggest thing in there was a gift shop.

Lovely 2 bedroom suite - very well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant was a highlight for us - fantastic food, staff and a lovely setting. Lovely big, warm pool and a great golf course.

We overlooked the car park - a view of the mountains would have been lovely. We also couldn't sleep with the windows open as the air-conditioning machines were too noisy outside our windows. My daughter and I found the jacuzzi too hot - out skin turned red in seconds and also the steam room smelt a bit of drains.

We had such a special stay in a beautifully appointed room where we were kindly gifted some wine from the adjoining vineyard for our honeymoon. We had a super dinner at the hotel & were really impressed to learn all the food is sourced from a 5k radius. A great night’s sleep followed by a relaxing morning at the pool, a delicious lunch at the vineyard & an insightful afternoon & desert walk at the indigenous cultural centre, our only regret was that we weren’t staying longer!

No notes, a wonderful stay in a special property

It was our 50th anniversary and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and thoughtful card. In fact, we visited the Liber Winery and bought a case of the wine. We had a superior condo so our view of the lake was great. There was an adult only pool. The restaurant served very good food and outdoor seating was available.

You can order a shuttle to take you to the beach or you can walk down a dusty path through the vineyard. The beach is small and adjacent to a very "dense" RV park. We could not watch Prime TV. There was no information on the TV or in print form about the resort. The adult pool has an attached fitness area but it only has 4 machines. Nothing else. I did not check out the other fitness area which was attached to the family pool, I think.

Beautiful suites with kitchen, living room, beautiful bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, and comfortable bedroom, bed, and pillows. Each suite is equipped with a balcony and a barbecue. The hot tub was lovely, and so was the outdoor sitting area with fire. There is also a heated outdoor pool that is open year round. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. Incredible food that was fresh, healthy, and super tasty. Service was amazing in the restaurant and at the front desk. I loved that the suite and the resort were pet friendly.

Great views from our 4th floor suite over the lake. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and kitchen, comfy sofa, nice balcony, two very nice pools with ample room and lounge chairs. Fantastic metal art works around the complex, depicting native life in history. The historical exhibition building with its 1.5 kms walking paths is well worth your time to visit. Very nice wine tasting room.

We already communicated with management that the 2 TV sets in our room needed attention. One in the bedroom could not broadcast anything to incompatibility with a new cable box. The one in the living had a much too dark picture that could not be adjusted. Management already came back to us and said it would be addressed immediately.

No breakfast at this time of the year, there is a market that has pastries etc. dinner was exceptional, our waitress was exceptional. The hotel is on indigenous land, the whole place feels spiritual to me. It is very pet friendly, our dog got a welcome gift!

Nothing that I can think of.our stay was peaceful, we had a time to rest and recharge while staying at Spirit Ridge.

The room was fantastic. Staff friendly. Views and location very relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant too.

Limited breakfast at the shop on one occasion, however, staff reimbursed with money off due to lack of choice. Quite pricey for stay compared to other hotels nearer the town, but we did come in high season.

Staff were very cheerful and helpful.Beds were very comfortable.The shower pressure was terrific. The view from our room was amazing.We appreciated the adult only pool which was quiet and peaceful.

Not very soundproof. We could hear every footstep in the room over us.
