I loved the family atmosphere. It was noisy with people swimming and having fun by day, but quiet at night. I enjoyed seeing so much going on, people using the BBQ, hanging out. I loved the proximity to beaches for paddling, to public walking areas, to shopping, etc. I found the room clean and comfortable. Also - I was surprised to find my room had been tidied while I was out - that was so nice, most of the time motels don't provide any of these services unless asked, so that was a lovely surprise.

I never asked for some coffee for the coffee machine, but there was nothing to indicate whether that was available or I had to bring my own (which I did anyway). Just little touches like talking to me a bit more at the start, but I realize I arrived after 6:30 and suspect the front desk person - who did smile! - was probably tired.

We were just stopping in for an evening on our way through BC. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the atmosphere of the property, the courtyard looked fantastic, big pool for those hot summer days and a little paddle pool for kids. Very well maintained. Lots of tables and chairs. Would be great for a vacation in the summer! Staff were welcoming and very friendly! Priced reasonably at $200 per night. We will absolutely visit again next summer!

Wished that there were 4 pillows on the bed instead of 3. That’s all ☺️

Beds were super-comfortable. I had an inside room, so was more insulated from any road noise.

The coffeemaker needs descaling, and the pot produced about 10 ounces of coffee for one packet - thus, only one cup, because there was just one packet. The pool wasn't open for the season, but it doesn't appear to have been covered for winter, so it was full of debris and looked pretty sad, esp because the setup is lovely.

The cleaning staff were lovely and asked us daily if we needed anything, but upon arrival , our toilet was not properly cleaned ( hairs on/around seat hinges), but we did not complain. There were old, used dirty sponges under kitchen sink for washing dishes ( gross).Throw away, don't leave them there or replace with new ones.

the room had everything we needed for our short stay. the location was pretty good and close enough to the beach to walk. the front desk had a few drinks that you could purchase which was nice as well.

the glass on our rooms window had a large crack throughout. some staining on the furniture in the room is a bit unsightly. the shower pressure was a bit lighter than we're used to.

after reading a lot of reviews before checking in I was very sceptical and concerned. once we arrived at the hotel I was ready to turn around but that was before I checked in . once we entered our room we were very surprised . it shot way past what we anticipated . it was obviously renovated at some point recently as our fridge and oven and such was brand new . it was clean and the beds are comfy . the courtyard was perfect to eat and hang out but also to use the pool . big enough kitchen to cook food ..We loved having breakfast outside in the courtyard for sure .

the toilet was obviously not actually attached to the ground and our room seemed to have an ant problem so note to self .. Don’t leave crumbs anywhere also the bed had very thin sheets but the hotel did offer more blankets and such so it wasn’t too bad after all .

The room was great. Was staying with my daughter. We really appreciated the two large beds. Kitchen well equipped. We chose the hotel partly due to the pool, but it was pretty busy due to so many children staying - but it wasn't a problem as we went to the lake and swam there

Being English, a kettle would have been good - but we boiled water in a saucepan....

The room was ready for us when arrived. We were looking for quiet, convenient, and affordable place to break up a long trip from the interior to the coast and this fit the bill. We had stayed here two years previous so knew what to expect.

It looked like the room had recently been updated which was great. The only thing lacking was lamp or light over the desk...

We were very happy with the room. It is has been updated and was clean. The access to the pool and the lovely outdoor space only added to our comfort and a true vacation feel.

The only noticeable thing that would need some attention would be to purchase new towels. They were worn and stained.

As a first time visitor to this property, I wasn't sure what to expect and I came away thinking it was a charming spot that I will return to for future stays. The pool was great, and even though the place is very much family friendly, with young kids, we able to get in some quality pool time. The patio tables were great for playing cards, and the kitchenette was really handy. The staff were great, and I could hear that some families come back year over year for a full vacation stay. We were only to stay two nights.
