Locatio and Waterview from balcony

I think the pictures online for the Lakeview provide a perception that the room is lakefront view and there is a bbq on the deck. The first room we were put in was along the side of the property with a Sideview of the lake, no sun and what i would describe as poolview. I think full Lakeview should be exactly that. Perhaps updating room types to reflect what they truly are would be good to avoid disappointment (poolview, partial Lakeview, etc). We were able to move to a room that had full Lakeview and morning sun which was lovely. Thank you.

The property is beautiful, and the lobby, rooms, restaurant, and pool area all look brand new. The location cannot be beat. It’s right beside a grocery store, liquor store, and pharmacy. We booked a two bedroom, two bathroom lake-view room and were very impressed. Also, the air-conditioning in the room was excellent! The pool is perfect for families and has a large slide.

Our room overlooked the bistro, and we found it a little bit loud. That being said, the noise ended around 10 PM each night, which was very reasonable. Also, one of the toilets in our room never quite worked right. We had maintenance look at it several times and they were unable to solve the problem.

The room was spacious with a nice porch. I appreciated how well-insulated it was given that we were above the loading area. The pool was large, and the two hot tubs were shockingly massive, allowing us time to actually privately soak in the evening. They supplied robes.

The door terminal to access the main street was broken for our entire stay, forcing us to circle to the main entrance each day. I wish the pool stayed open longer. 10pm prevents adult casual soaking. There could be a volume warning or something to allow people to stay late in the hot tub. Just a suggestion. Also, most resorts offer a complimentary breakfast, so I was shocked they didn't.

We were greeted by a recent transplant from Alberta at the front desk and what a wonderful way to start with such a lovely young lady! Loved an adult hot tub option and the pool was warm. Beyond clean room, super clean and everything you need. The location is unbeatable, we did the KTV in a couple directions so it was great having a bike storage area in the garage.

Only 2 things and obviously me rating this location a 10 is not a deal breaker. 1. we had to go the local hardware store to get WD40 for the all the doors in the stairwell beside beside us as it was SO bad, including our room door. 2. We were playing cards by the pool and was asked to move quite abruptly as an incoming wedding was due. Totally fair but I would have handled it differently, I would have had a sign up ahead of time notifying guests this area will be off limits for some set amount of time and maybe a softer approach when approaching the table of other guests. Although, I do understand it is a stressful moment for staff.

The view from the room was gorgeous!!! Lovely to sit on the balcony looking across the lake to the weeping willows on the other side. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean and well set up.

The woman at check in was not at all welcoming, but perhaps she was having a difficult day. The extremely bright bathroom light had a motion sensor, so it would jolt on like mid-day every time we went in in the night. The potentially lovely wooden tables and cabinetry were surprisingly worn and in need of refinishing.

Everything about this place was great. The location to downtown, lake and walking trails was excellent; you couldn't find anything better. And the views were amazing. Prior to arrival I had read about the 'noise' around the pool. Well we did hear the noise and it was great!! It was so nice to see kids outside, playing and having fun (vs inside glued to gaming consoles, etc)!! There were some adults listening to their music but it was tastfully quiet.

This is a super comfortable place!! we have now stayed there 5 times and have loved it every time. The staff are great, the rooms are comfy, and the restaurant is wonderful. we have always enjoyed our time here.

Need more pillow choices on the King beds. All 4 of the pillows provided were way too big around and did not allow for decent sleep. A small thin =, but given that there are 4 pillows on the bed and 1 in the closet, a choice of pillow thickness would be nice!

My room was spotless clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The spacious balcony with great views was such a plus. The facicilities are all new, nice and clean. The hotel is right on the beach in beautiful surroundings. Restaurants, bars, shops and cafes all on the same block, so can't beat the location. Some of the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and polite, friendly people. This place is pet friendly through and through. My all in all experience was great and I would return to Watermark Beach Resort.

Some of the staff members are clueless and unprofessional with some attitude. Wifi is non- existent (at least on the south side 4th floor) and they did nothing to fix it when I mentioned to front desk. Had to use hotspot to work. If you don't need to work remotely while on vacation, it's no issue though. I would have appreciated if someone told me where my room was at check in as the resort is rather large. But I figured it all out by day 2, no major issues.

This is the 3rd time we've visited the Watermark and we've thoroughly enjoyed it each time. We feel relaxed and on vacation from the time we arrive. The beautiful pool is the highlight for us.

We wished we had been in a suite with a sunnier balcony. There was sun quite early in the morning, but because of its corner location it was soon shady. But we did enjoy the early morning sun and even when shady it was a joy to sit out and soak in the view

We have stayed at the Watermark several times, it’s our go to place when we visit our kids in Osoyoos a few times every year. Reliable , great staff always clean!

2 things I would change if I could, 1. Add Blackout curtains in the bedroom, the blinds are nice but they let too much light in for us. 2 . We have stayed in several rooms , all have the same furniture, the couch and occasional chair are the most uncomfortable furniture we have experienced.
