Comfortable well-appointed room, easy to park (which had no problems with security while I was there). Good location Downtown to get to most places around central PG and nor far from the main road to the airport. Nice to have the option of reasonably-priced light bar-type food at the Placery within the hotel, although don't expect a full-on restaurant. There is an empty fridge in the room which is great for storing your own food/drinks as needed. TV has multiple good channel options and there is excellent free Wifi. Friendly hotel staff on the whole. Downtown PG is an area full of visible social problems, which is not the hotel's responsibility, but streets are safe to walk around despite first appearances.

An early breakfast was in the price of the room and was appreciated and OK, although there were few cooked options for vegetarians on certain days. Housekeeping is meant to be every second day, although my room was only done once in six days (although part of that may have been my fault!) but coffee or milk was not refreshed on any day, so I ended up buying my own as the Placery didn't have decaf options. Slightly surprising that the elevators don't have the usual key card security measure given the area, but the rooms did have good door security with an additional lock and a metal barrier, so it felt safe.

It all began with the hostess Shubh at the Hyatt in Prince George BC. She was very welcoming with a huge smile and asked how our trip in was....explained the breakfast hours and where, then told us the dining room hours for the evening. Shubh said if we needed anything do not be afraid to come to the desk and ask. Her demeanor made the check in routine fun and easy. She also explained charges on the card for damage but also when we could expect that back on the card. That is where hospitality begins at check in. Thank you Shubh, I mention your name because of the superior treatment you gave us. 😄

Everything about this stay was excellent other than the fact the pull out bed was the worst thing I've ever tried to sleep on... they should be tossed out instead of leading someone to believe they could possibly get sleep on it.... the main bed was incredible according to the family who slept on it! The breakfast was great in all aspects, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I was pulling a trailer which could not be parked in the main parking area due to no space, but the front desk staff ensured I parked in an area and in a fashion that was directly under a security camera which was good. Gave me a peace of mind to some extend. The un-homed population is beyond the hotel's control but the are sure does not feel super safe at night.

Just the pull out bed... it is trash (room 302) maybe others are better??

We absolutely loved it here. It was close to everything, and fenced with security. Breakfast was by far the best. Good service, good times for breakfast too, don’t have to wake up early and rush down. Even provided to go boxes. The pool is tiny with no hot tub which was disappointing; however, right beside there was canfor leisure pool which was amazing. At the hotel, I was happy to see there was an assist lift to get in and out of the pool for people in need. Staff were great, not intrusive but there if you need them.

I love that I can travel with my two teenagers and we can all have our own bed!! The sofa bed is small but no complaints from the kids. I also appreciate that the TVs are set up so that you can cast your own Netflix account so I don't have to surf lousy hotel tv

Breakfast was fantastic, but because it was so popular it seemed the kitchen had some trouble keeping up, certain items were backed up and even cutlery was missing at times. We were there the last hour of service; so next time we'll be sure to head down for breakfast an hour earlier, see if that makes a difference.

After reading reviews from just a couple of weeks prior, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has had ownership change in just the last few weeks. It showed!! Rooms was excellent. Beds comfy. Very clean. Outside and lobby was very nice. Breakfast had pretty much everything you wanted! Great fruit!

Real bacon would have been nice... Pull out sofa bed mattress could have been a bit better. To match the comfiness of the other beds. Neither of these things would deter us from booking again.

Spacious modern room with the most comfortable beds imaginable! My request for a quiet room was accommodated, and the included breakfast was quite good. We only stayed a night, but were left with the impression that this place tries hard to provide a facility that meets everyone's needs. A little exploration led us to a nice "Keg" restaurant and a brewery pub nearby.

The downtown location was eerie to walk around since the streets were empty except for many victims of the opiod crisis.

Staff were very accommodating and pleasant, we were able to get something decent to eat after arriving after 9:00 pm. Hotel is very clean and well presented, large rooms, location is convenient in the centre of town.

I wouldn’t walk from the train station to the hotel after mid evening…..thankfully we had no problem, but the potential exists.

The hotel lacked baggage porter service, which was disappointing. When I called to request an additional bed sheet for the sofa bed, I was told to collect it myself instead of having it delivered to the room. The host staff was rude and seemed to expect the guest to provide service rather than the other way around. After I raised an objection, the bed sheet was eventually sent to the room by a security guard.

Breakfast was excellent, a lot of drug activity around back of hotel. I felt uncomfortable leaving my car in the back of parking lot.

On the fourth floor the night we stayed, some young adults were out for the evening and when they came back to the hotel they argued in the hallway and slamming doors , this went on till 2:30 am, very little sleep, mention to clerk in the morning and he said he would have manager call me , still waiting for a call.
