Clean and comfortable rooms with nice A/C. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast had good variety of stuff you can put in the toaster plus cereals, yoghurts and fruit. The hotel waterslide is quite fast and the hot tub is great after a day out in the mountains. Great location for sightseeing and climbing in Squamish

Tip for other guests- this is a great hotel but you do need to ask at the front desk for a kettle to make tea and any crockery/cutlery (which as we chose the room type with a kitchenette to be able to make some of our own food was a bit weird), but the staff were accommodating when we requested these items and provided them with no issues.

The room was a good size and comfortable, I liked that there was a fridge and microwave in the room, as well as a coffee machine. A quiet location, mountain view from the window. They have a laundry room which is great. There were loads of continental breakfast options. The Sea to Sky gondola was only 20 minutes away, along with bouldering and climbing (you can rent equipment at the climbing shop in town!). You can also get to the estuary walk from the hotel.

Breakfast options were good but a little boring. It's a bit out of the way from downtown, but there is a small Walmart and a few different things nearby.

It was a good size room and comfortable. The room had its own mini fridge and microwave which was good. The breakfast was basic but was great to have a coffee and something to eat before heading out. The location of the hotel is central and had lots of food places walking distance. I had rented a car and everything was roughly a 4 min drive from the hotel in Squamish.

I only learnt that you had to request housekeeping on my last day of staying. I eventually spotted a notice in the elevator and then found a piece of paper in the room. This wasn't something I was looking for so I think this info would be more helpful to be told to guests on check in. Having the lights on a single switch or better lighting would have improved the room. There were 5 different locations to turn on all the lighting for the room. The main room was lit with three lamps and not the brightest with all of them on. Not too big of a deal but just annoying having to turn them all on/off rather than them being on a single switch or have one main light in the room as well.

The pool was the main reason we stayed so it was very important that is was in working condition, clean, not too busy. The kids had an amazing time. The breakfast was always replenished and fresh. Continental, but the kids loved it. The other reason we chose to stay. Staff always available at the front desk. Room was cleaned nicely each day.

Quality of the mattress, pillows did not seem great, no movie/streaming options on the TV - we gave up on looking for something on cable and watched something on a laptop. Not the best location for walking - it's in an industrial area of Squamish. Did not like the requirement to ask for pool towels at the front desk or having to leave wet pool towels at the pool and instead wear clothing over suits to/from our room - made some of the few clothes we brought damp.

Easy access off the highway, plenty of parking. Everywhere was clean, the room was a good size, comfortable and had good facilities. Vending machines and ice machines on several floors. Staff friendly and helpful. Self service continental breakfast was really good, plenty of options and well stocked. Liked that there was a good recycling system in place at breakfast.

Not a problem for us, but if you were wanting to be close to the town centre, this was a little further out. Still restaurants nearby and a Walmart. Ideal for quick easy access on and off the Sea to Sky highway.

Just wanted to share how fantastic our recent stay at the Sandman Hotel and Suites Squamish was! The friendly staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was impeccably clean, and we especially appreciated that the bathtub was excellent – perfect for unwinding after a day out. The amenities were great, and the location is perfect for exploring all that Squamish offers. Seriously, if you're heading to Squamish, this is the place to stay! We can't wait to go back!

The family suite was great for us, travelling with two teenagers meant they had a bed each -sofa bed and queen, with a separate king room for the adults. Beds were comfortable, good location and the kids loved the pool and slide. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I would have liked milk for the tea / coffee in the room. Also actual cups instead of just paper cups. Otherwise very happy with the hotel experience.

Dogs being allowed in the hotel. I was walking past a woman with a dog on leash at reception, when suddenly the dog came very close to biting me on my calf. No apology was given and both the lady or the girl on reception were concerned or offered an apology. This was not acceptable and I was left feeling feeling very shaken.

Our room was a beautiful suite with a separate queen bed and ensuite from the rest of the hotel room. It provided an extra bathroom that was great to have with 5 people in the room! Staff were very friendly. Parking is included! Breakfast had a great selection and great hours. The waterslide was a big hit with the kids, adults found the pool a bit cool but the hot tub made up for it. I'd love to visit in the summer when they open the big doors to the outdoor area!

More fresh fruit options for breakfast please.

The staff are excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The location was great for us and we liked that we could walk to Backcountry bar very quickly and downtown was a short bus ride or a 30 minute walk along tree lined paths.

We'd have liked some more savoury options at breakfast and for hours to be extended to 10am during weekdays.
