Stayed on two separate occasions and had a similar experience both times. The restaurant and bar attached to the inn are the strong point, good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Location is Squamish is a plus, you can walk downtown in a few minutes and parking is easy The place is clean, the rooms are fine if a little dated. Over it seemed good value.

Breakfast is very limited, a trolley of cereal, fruit tubs, croissants and doughnuts served in the upstairs hall with no hot drinks. There is an option of using your room drinks but you're better going elsewhere. When we came to leave, there was nobody on reception. We waited 15 mins, before another staff member took our key but wasn't able to check us out.

Hotel has a rustic charm. Easy access to a pub downstairs. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the breakfast takeaway selections in the hallway although very simple were still better than nothing. Lots of options for food, bakeries, and groceries all within walking distance was nice.

Room had a connecting door and could hear every conversation in the next room. Kindly enough our neighbors lowered their voices after realizing we were checked in, but it was very uncomfortable both ways throughout the stay. There’s also some type of giant turbine or generator that runs all day long which could be heard from the location of our room.

Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is poor. The food is mediocre and not worth what is being charged, Serving staff are welcoming and attentive although on our last visit it was annoying to be told that only one "chef" was working only after we had waited over an hour for our very basic food. To be avoided unless improvements are made and it would help if a proper breakfast facility were set up.

Loved the little day bed in front of the window, so relaxing. Like that the bar/restaurant was attached to the hotel, easy to go for dinner.

The breakfast was pretty subpar. The manager apologized and took 10% off our bill. I think if you are going to have breakfast included then have something descent. It doesn't have to be a cooked meal, but some bagels, muffins and croissants and fruit would be nice.

Excellent bar with good quality and good value bar food. Beer brewed on the premises. Warm and comfortable room with pleasant en-suite bathroom. Free on site parking. Great cues from front of Inn.

Decor in room was a little “tired”. Bar restaurant very busy at peak times but tended to shut quite early by UK standards. I was unable to extended my stay by one day when my plans changed.

Central location, comfortable room and great to have restaurant on site. Manager very helpful with our educational consultants needs to access the library, etc

Better communication needed between their accounting and front desk reception to ensure correct payment paperwork processed.

Location is convenient for long distance travel to Whistler area. It is a nice stopping point on the way to break up the long distance drive.

We were looking forward to having a beer but they did last call one hour before their posted closing time so we couldn't and had to go out to find another option for food.

Great location. Basic room but super comfortable bed and very clean. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Helpful and friendly staff on reception. Good food and beer at the attached pub.

Our room looked out over the back not what we understood a 'mountain room' as booked would be. No one told us about the sauna, we discovered it on our last night!

Rooms need a bit of renovation (furniture, walls). + we booked the Mountain View, but we got it only if we looked straight up, but right under our room were trash bins
