The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure I felt comfortable in every possible way. The place itself was quiet and peaceful, with a very convenient and special location. The room overlooking the main street lacked a bit of privacy when sitting in the terrace, but other than that, it was very good, clean & comfortable. It would have been even better if there was a wardrobe and an iron in the room. There was no coffee machine, but the instant coffee provided was surprisingly delicious! If I ever come back to Squamish, this hotel will definitely be at the top of my list. I’d love to stay here again!

The rooms have been renovated and were very clean (e.g., white walls that are very white). Fresh linens regularly and AC. Having AC in the room while getting ready (for a wedding) was HUGE! That alone made it worth the money. Because it's an older building, the breaker did keep flipping when using AC + another high energy item (electric kettle, blow dryer, steamer), but the office staff were extremely responsive and flipped it back immediately (even at 1am).

Because it's an old building, the breaker kept flipping when we had more than just the AC on (e.g., blow dryer and AC, kettle and AC). We adjusted and it was not a big deal b/c the office staff were extremely responsive - always answering the phone and flipped the breaker back right away.

This place is a real find in Squamish. We stayed for a wedding and others commented on how lovely our accommodation was. The location is central and nearby several excellent places to eat, including Howe Sound Brewery which all the wedding celebrations were at (2 mins walk). There was very easy parking at the hotel. The room was modern and comfortable with good facilities in the room. It was quiet and did the job for us. There is free coffee and pastries which given the price is excellent. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The room was large and clean. It had kitchen which was an advantage. There is a good coffee machine in the loby and selection of paisteries in the morning. The staff was helpful and nice

There was a smell in the room when guests cooked in adjacent rooms. Our room faced the street and it was a bit noisy and we had to keep the curtain close all the time. The front externall wall was under constraction. This was not communicate to us in advance. We arrived late and left early so we didnt suffer from the noise, but such an issue should be communicate to the customers.

Great location in the heart of Squamish, easy to park your car if you had one. friendly staff happy to help with any extra requests/questions we had. Beds comfortable and room felt like it had been recently renovated. Shower head may have needed an update but was still very clean and functional. Free coffee and sweets in the lobby between 8-11am. Would recommend staying as it’s a great location you can walk to all things around Squamish

Perfect location - park the car and walk around the downtown and to the oceanfront beach area. Surrounded by mountains everywhere you look. Close to Shannon falls hike and other trails. For the price this place was great. Perfect for a 1 nite stay on way to whistler after doing the ferry from Vancouver. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful with any question. Check in was fast and easy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.. and an added bonus: fresh coffee in the lobby with cookies too!

The beds were comfortable. The microwave, kettle and fridge were bonuses. The room has clearly been very recently updated and painted. (The old motel is looking good!) It was very nice to have good coffee in the lobby. Also, the free on-site parking was convenient and safe.

It would have been nice to have tissues , a soap dish (to keep the soap from sliding into the sink or off the counter top). The cleaner or deoderizer they use in the rooms leaves a very strong odour and was an eye-irritant for several hours.

This is our second time staying at the August Jack Inn this ski season, and we have been super happy with the new management. They have really stepped up the service, the facilities, the cleanliness and amenities. Rooms are spacious, always clean, and the location is amazing. PLUS they have onsite parking, which if you know downtown Squamish you know it's a good deal.

The room was exceptional. The restroom was clean to the tee and gave a home feeling. Room temperature control, TV, Kitchenette everything met the expectations. They have onsite parking as complimentary which was great. Located in the middle of Squamish downtown with plenty of shops, restaurants, gas stations and whatever you need.

Can add more utensils to the Kitchenette. Some of the utensils were stained and not clean.

The building has been newly renovated and is very clean. The staff are polite and helpful. There's also a free morning snack, and you can brew your own fresh coffee from the espresso machine in the office. The room had two full beds with fresh sheets and towels, along with a set of branded soap and shampoo. The TV offered Netflix and YouTube for entertainment. It's located next to a playground with direct access, perfect for families with kids.
