This was a quick overnighter and wow -I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly had low expectations for this hotel, as it is right downtown and just a plain building on a concrete parking lot. However, the staff member when we arrived was quite friendly and helpful. There was complimentary coffee, the lobby was clean, the halls were clean, our room was spotless and the beds/pillows were SO comfortable. (like what I expect at a high end hotel) Our room was quite spacious and the bathroom was as well and featured high end faucet and sink. We received a $15 off for the in house restaurant and a gift chocolate bar with a note saying thanks for staying with us. If needed we would stay here again.

Perhaps complementary water would also be nice.

Good parking, great friendly staff, close to everything, walking distance to downtown.

This is like our third or fourth stay here and the restaurant, that I’ve heard nothing but good thing, always seems to be closed. The door to our room didn’t seem to make a good seal and light poured in for the hallway.

Located next to Hwy 3A, but noise from the highway was not overly noticeable. Room was clean, and contained all amenities one needed and bedding was very comfortable. Front desk staff v.friendly and helpful and hotel within short walking distances to local restaurants. Certainly would stay again.

too expensive for what i got , micro wave bacon did not expect that. tiny circles of thin ham . everything else was ok .

toilets are to low for old people to get back up , getting down to sit can be a problem.

Had a car breakdown on holiday. Called the hotel to let them know I wasn't going to be able to make it. Asked if there was a reduced charge by chance. Her response was, no charge at all. We can't charge people who have had their car breakdown. They didn't have to do that, but they did and when I make my tour through B.C. again, I will be stopping here.

The hotel was good. My stay was very short. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and staff were great, very helpful, and accommodating. Coffee and a quick snack at my early am check out was very helpful. Thank you.

The room was a bit cold when I first got there, but heating was easy to figure out and worked fine. I did not like that I was in an attached room, I realize that is common, but I prefer not to be in them.

Nice hotel. Overpriced as they all are these days. Very good restaurant on premises. Extras - laundry, workout room, hot tub on premises. Unfortunately I didn't see this in the advertising so didn't bring bathing suite. Bathtub is a great feature.

BEDS - way to high for me and several others that I talked with. I had a very uncomfortable night since my body had to adjust after climbing into the bed each time I had to get up.

the room was great, location seemed fine . front desk were friendly. the steak house was delicious, a bit of a step back in time with the ambiance, but food and staff were fantastic!

I was checking out and the 1 st person had no idea how to process Gift Cards. thankfully a lady came in who did, but she was unable to do quickly, we had somewhere to be. she was amazing took photocopies of the cards, I got to leave, she took care of it ! Called and left a message she had it done . Fantastic

The room was beautiful, and exactly as pictured, and the spa tub was absolutely divine. I had a bit of an issue with an MIA coffee maker the first morning, but the staff were incredibly helpful and sorted it out straight away.

The shower water pressure was a little underwhelming, and it never really got hot, but that may have been due to an issue with the faucet itself. It was really more of a minor inconvenience than a trip altering problem though. The rest of the room was great, and I would definitely stay here again.

Room are very clean and comfortable. Staff is nice and professional. Good location if you visit this region and even if you need a stop on the way to BC from Alberta (or vice versa). Do check a great and authentic Italian / Sicilian restaurant just across the street.
