The room was clean, well ventilated, with fresh beddings, a clean bathroom, and a quiet environment. Loved the breakfast, and the staff were very courteous.

I had to change my room and paid a little extra because a band plays in the main hall on Friday nights, and did not want the noise. Moved to the other section, which was noiseless. No one's fault really, but best to let those intending to stay through a Friday night upfront. I am sure for some it will be lovely!

On arrival there was a slight issue as I don't use a credit card and had got to the hotel rather earlier than expected. The staff were great, really welcoming and reassuring, and the issue was sorted out within about 15 minutes. Stayed for a few days and was basic but very pleasant. I didn't realise that I was ariving in the midst of the first heatwave of the year but don't worry, the rooms are sufficiently air conditioned if you do the same thing. Breakfast was simple but tasty with lovely service and ample coffee. Bed was extremely comfortable and room smelt clean and fresh. Nice stoop outside the motel to sit on in the morning and watch the sun come up over Bruce Park. Staff always on hand to help and answer any questions.

Only thing I had an issue with during my stay was the coffee machine in the room leaked terribly. I did make staff aware when leaving as didn't really effect me too much but is something that they may want to resolve for the next guest.

The staff were able to accommodate my mobility issues even though the hotel was stressed with evacuees from Wildfires. Thank you. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff cheerful

Not fancy, so temper your expectations.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to have breakfast, but my partner enjoyed it. He said it was excellent. When I had the chance to have breakfast the kitchen had a water break, which is unfortunate, but things happen.

The only thing I didn't like about the room was no microwave.

The free breakfast was excellent! Congratulations to the chef for making perfect poached eggs every time! Servers were friendly and efficient.

It was a little warm a couple of nights & didn't wish to open the window due to sirens etc, other than that perfect expierence.

This was my second time staying here. It is reliably clean and reasonably quiet.

Can really hear Portage Avenue traffic but it’s oddly calming after a short while so i can’t even say that was a problem and it would not prevent me from going there again when i need to!

Great location to the venue at the park the room was clean, plenty of towels, a coffee maker and I got upgraded to a double queen bed

Children making noises late at night common areas needed cleaning and vacuuming, rugs were filthy.

Excellent free breakfast and excellent service...friendly regular customers chatted across tables and with some of us newer guests....kinda like the CHEERS bars...loved the atmosphere! This is an older place, but I don't need fancy, just an affordable plce to sleep. Lots of free parking, there are cameras monitoring the area and hallways, I felt safe.

all ws good....I had a hard time with the stairs...problems with my legs....

Hot set breakfast was included and available at hotel next door. Spacious room with usual facilities. Close to bus stop for downtown access. Walk to pizza hut and convenience store. Ground floor room with parking out front if we had a vehicle.

Snowy stay in mid April

The staff were incredibly pleasant and professional, making my stay there very enjoyable! The location was ideal for my purposes, being right across the street from Assiniboine Park!

I can think of nothing I would change.
