I liked everything, absolutely everything about my stay at this hotel. Staff are helpful, extremely pleasant, and go out of their way to ensure you have an excellent experience. I was even shuttled to and from Walmart to pick up antihistamines and Advil, as there were none to be found on site. The room was comfortable, spacious, well appointed, and VERY QUIET. That was quite a surprise, as I had a magnificent view of the airport runways. Two levels of pull down curtains, one to block glare while still affording the view, the other to block light entirely. The bed was comfortable, with enough pillows to choose from for any sleeping position. The coffee in the room is good. The breakfast was exceptional in a brightly lit dining room with lots of space between tables. I'm celiac, and when they could not find the gluten free bread, a fruit cup was substituted free of charge. I had a wheelchair accessible room with a wheelchair accessible bathroom. I'm not in a wheelchair, but if you are, this hotel will work for you. I can guarantee this, as I know what to look for. My sister-in-law is in a wheelchair. The doors are wide enough, there is space beside the toilet and tub for wheelchair transfers, and there is a removeable shower stall seat. There is also room under the bathroom counter that will allow you access to the sinks. The room itself is spacious enough for a wheelchair, even having proper access to use the desk. And to top this off, you can get directly from and to the airport in your chair. There are absolutely no barriers. Someone who is an expert on accessibility designed this airport hotel just for you!

Excellent location....just a few steps from the airport. Shortcut to hotel lobby, through the lobby of the Grand Hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable with iron board, iron, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Good shower with toiletries and hairdryer. Beds were a little too high and the mattress too soft, but that is an individual preference. Public bus D13 for going to downtown.....The Forks and the Polo Mall stops just outside the airport, so most convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Winnipeg. So convenient also to fly out of Winnipeg......just roll the strolley bag through the passage connecting to the Grand Hotel, walk across a small crosswalk and voila, you are at the airport.

I prefer a harder mattress and definitely a lower height of the bed.

Very convenient location for Airport stopover before flight. Rooms comfortable and clean with all necessary facilities. Staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. No request too much trouble and were proactive in recommending stay enhancing options, like late check out because of flight times. Complimentary airport terminal bus service really useful.

TV and CD player a little dated with difficult menu options. No smart tv or ability to link personal devices and streaming to TV. Ability to borrow from receptions CD film library to play in room a little quaint. But these were minor points that did not diminish the stay but would enhance the facilities if implemented in future updating programmes.

It was a very large clean quiet comfortable room, I was by myself but anyone traveling with multiple people would love all the space. Bed was very comfortable and loved the pillow variety. Hotel was at the airport, which was convenient for my morning flight. The room had a microwave, single serve coffee maker, Mini Fridge etc. Big long Desk, large windows. The Lakeview is connected to the Grand so I could walk inside most of the way to the airport, only a short walk outside (crossing the arrivals road) to get to the airport.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like other than, I wasn't there long enough (only one night) to really enjoy all the amenities.

The front desk was amazing ! Because our train was late, we arrived at 4 am. The front desk got us into a room quickly and we were able to relax. They told us they would notify us when the administrative tasks were completed and we received a quiet text around 8 am. We really appreciated that they didn't wake us early.

When we booked, it was clear that there was food services available at the hotel, which we relied upon. However, when we asked the Front Desk, we wee told there is no food service. We clarified that we could walk to a restaurant a few blocks away, which was problematic for my spouse's mobility issues.

- Daily parking rate of $20+ - No parking access to upstairs - No continental breakfast or coupon discount for restaurant - Placed in a pet friendly room but beside the house keeper room? Could hear staff talking early mornings. - Could use a curtain drape over the shades as light shines through the edges

We preferred to stay at this airport hotel, because downtown Winnipeg is too loud with constant traffic noise and strange people hanging about at most places. We had stayed here before in August and a few years ago when the hotel had a different ownership. The suites have an extra door within the rooms, which reduces noise from the corridor (banging doors at 2.30 in the morning etc.). Unfortunately, this time, the room we got had a steady noise from some machine in the wall, so we had to switch to another room. But the front desk was very helpful in finding that new room and moving our luggage, even under pressure because we had to leave for a hockey game in town.

The garbage truck at 3.30 a.m. made enormous noise for about 15 minutes - not pleasant! I wonder if there aren't any other time windows for such things.

Considering it was conveniently located 2 minutes from the airport and the planes landing and taking off were just outside our window, the room was extremely quiet. The room was spacious, and the beds were quite comfortable. I was genuinely but happily surprised to find the food in the restaurant really good and reasonably priced, something I hadn't expected from a place so close to the airport. The server was also very attentive.

Excellent location to the Winnipeg International Airport with only a five-minute walk to the front door. The staff were excellent and check-in was effortless and efficient. The room was very large with separate living room/sitting area. The room was exceptionally clean with stocked amenities and fresh, clean towels. The bar downstairs had great food and drinks and the service was terrific there as well.

There is nothing about The Lakeview Signature hotel that needs attention. the facility is great and convenient to the airport with an excellent staff and clean/spacious rooms for an excellent area of relaxation.

Closeness and easy accessibility to the airport is definitely a plus when you are leaving on an early morning flight. The mattress and pillows were luxurious and thanks to them I was able to get an amazing good sleep before my flight. One of the best airport hotels I have ever stayed at and highly recommend.

Everything was excellent. The bathtub and toilet could perhaps be updated but this is really a minor thought as everything about the hotel was absolutely fabulous. Nothing negative, all good with this hotel.
