I was travelling for business and had to stay in the area for an extra day unexpectedly. I called the front desk, hoping to extend my reservation (usually this is hit or miss at most places due to reservations). Not only did they extend my stay, but they let me come in the following afternoon to settle up the additional night's charge (and thank god for this, because I was out until the early hours of the morning working and would have been a zombie having to stumble into the office to pay for the added night before the original check-out time). The room was clean, the bathroom appliances were modern (no grimey sinks or tubs), and the property was in a good location (close to the highway and major shopping centres). I'm on the road all the time for work, and I've stayed in many different places (motels, hotels, AirBnBs, campgrounds... you get the idea). The Arnprior Knights Inn is one of the better places I've visited recently in terms of motels. I don't need luxury, I need a shower, a dark/quiet room, and a clean comfy bed. They surpassed my expectations and delivered on all three beautifully.

It was a little challenging accessing the property due to construction on the main roadway immediately out front. Not a huge issue (and entirely out of the property's control), but it did make entering and exiting the parking lot a bit of a challenge at times.

Room was very clean and newly renovated. It has all the essentials we need - quiet, air-conditioned, hot shower, and comfortable bed. Location was easy to find and everything was as listed. Based on someone else's review here, we went to the nearby Jim's Restaurant for breakfast which was also good.

I left the keycards on the check-in counter because there was no one in the office. Would have preferred to have a drop box for the keycards rather than leave them in the room for checkout.

Very clean rooms and property. Friendly staff. I had stayed here several years ago as well. This will always be my #1 choice when I come back in town.

It's more of a personal thing. I was not overly fussy on the pillows. Im sure most people wouldn't mind them at all. I have always had a hard time with pillows in hotels, though. Again, it's just me, and not really a reflection of the Inn. I'm a picky pillow picker, lol

Super clean, nice staff, fun old fashion type motel with chairs in front of your door to sit and watch the traffic go by. It had been totally remodeled and the place looked great, even the landscaping was great. We enjoyed staying there. The negatives were that a king size bed was not available and that would be because the rooms are a little small. The neighbor hood was very commercial. We did take a walk, there are sidewalks, but not much to see in the area.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Towels were nice and soft. Hot water and water pressure was great.Large Television. Rooms were decorated nice. Outside property was well welcoming and clean.

Bathroom really small . Had to go to Office to get ice and ask for it. No ice machine. On the right side of property at the end is construction of a new bridge .Just to let you know it's loud and if you want to sleep in you can't they start early. Not the motel fault just letting people be aware of it.

Awesome motel! Great location just off 17, near several fast food restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy. Extremely clean and comfortable with great wifi and room amenities including a TV, microwave, bar fridge, ironing board, iron, dinette table with two chairs, coffee set. The heater was incredibly effective. I am guessing the AC would be just as good. Very well renovated. Amazingly the bath/shower drain worked. I often stay at Deltas and Sherations where the shower doesn't drain. First class!

Hard to think of anything. I was using the table for my laptop and it would have been great if there was a more comfortable chair for working.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. When I had to replace a key card, the gentleman was very kind about it. The room was new and very clean.

Ice wasn’t easily accessible ie. one has to ask for it at the front desk, and this wasn’t made obvious. It would be nice to have some kind of breakfast available or at least a coffee maker that allowed you to change the strength of the coffee.

we had 2 rooms because we have 3 boys who are bigger than most adults. The rooms were so clean and smelled fresh. The owners obviously take pride in motel. The beds were also very good, most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel or motel but all double beds in rooms with 2 beds. Still, my husband and I were good in the double and had a great nights sleep. The owner is also so nice, very kind and helpful. Oh, and it didn’t say here, but every room also has a good size mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

If I have to something, maybe more outdoor chairs. there were only 4 or so for 6 rooms. It was fine because no one was using them at the time we went out. I suspect they have more in storage for the season but the owner is so nice, just ask for a chair if you need one.

Very friendly staff and helpful.

A couple constantly smoking outside their room, when we would go in or out the smell would come into ours. Not the Knight’s Inn fault but I am a non smoker so that bothers me.

This was a renovated, clean, comfortable room with a comfie bed as well. There is a kitchenette with no dishes but we are on a road trip so had dishes, cutlery, dish soap, tea-towels and kettle with us. Would stay here again if ever in the Ottawa area! No breakfast offered but we had our own cereal, etc so worked very well for us.

Was all good!
