room was excellent size, booked for 5. breakfast was the usual fair all other motels set up.

Since I booked for 5, we had two queens and a pull out couch. "UNFORTUNATELY" the pull out couch was broken and could not be used as it was meant to be. I brought this to the attention of the front desk in the morning and all I was told was that I should have called (over and over again) for a cot, well it was 11 pm and I thought it was a little too late. I told front desk that I booked and paid for 5 people so the accommodations should have been ready, at which time I was told I was complaining too much and the person was almost in tears. I left it as is and said have a good day and we departed.

Our room was on the ground floor. The room was huge, almost too big as it lacked a sense of coziness. It would have been nice to have a chair or two in the sitting area to make the space more cozy and have more places to sit. It was nice to have the extra room though. The room had very high ceilings which made it feel like a gymnasium. I feel this was not originally a room but maybe a conference room or something. It was quiet though, which I appreciated. We were not able to enjoy the breakfast due to time constraints but it looked pretty good. I also was not able to use the pool so I cannot comment on that other than it looked pretty decent.

I found the bed too soft. I have back issues and the soft bed did not work for me.

The room was very spacious; extremely larger than any hotel room I've ever stayed in. The food was excellent and the hospitality was great.. Our stay was very comfortable; would definitely recommend.

N/A - There was nothing we wouldn't recommend. We were very pleased with everything. Hope to stay again on our next trip to Barrie. The floor was very peaceful; walls were not thin, could not hear others.

We were extremely frustated find our room had been taken from our Visa Debit card befre ww arrived . We know we had to pay a room deposit of $50 as we checked in. We booked thru Booking.com. what was not explsined properly is becuase we did not book with a true Credit card. We were forced to pay full room and deposit upfront on arrival. That hirt us finacially fir the rest of Sunday. Had we known that upfront. We likly would have driven home. We found the whole experience very uppsetting for being penslized for not having a traditional credit card. To us it felt like were trested like criminals

We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast. We flew in from BC so often would wake up around 9:30 am and miss the breakfast. Wish it was open until 11 am. The bed and room were comfy and large. We love all the space in the room.

We wish the bathroom was more updated. Everything in the bathroom looked old and was cracking. Hard to feel comfortable to take a shower. We also didn’t realize there was some tournament so the hotel was full of young children who were running around and using the pool so we didn’t get to go swimming because it was packed.

Check in was very smooth, the front desk attendant was very helpful and easily answered any questions I had. If you have sore muscles/achy bones then check out their hot tub, it will definitely relax you. The towels are supplied to the side so no need to bring one from your room. There was lots of food in the complimentary breakfast along with tea/coffee, juice, and snacks for later.

The construction prevented us from travelling straight to our destination but that's not the hotels fault.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had an adequate choice to ensure all members of our family were able to get off to a good start for the day.

There was only one towel each for the three of us. It would have been nice to have maybe one extra. Also, there was no moisturizer. I'm not sure if this was an oversight, or something that is just no longer being offered, but we did end up grabbing some from Zehrs. Would have brought our own, given it was so cold and dry that weekend, weather-wise.

Breakfast and the staff preparing same. The girls are so friendly, caring and willing to advise of places to visit or eat. Jane at check-in is such an amazing, friendly part of your hotel. We keep returning a couple of times a year because of these people.

Us women come to enjoy our friendship, go out to dinner and do some shopping in the Barrie area. One thing that is a disappointment is the lack of seating out front. This time we actually tailgated on one of the girls vehicles. There is one "smoking" bench. I think another couple of benches or picnic tables should be added for the guests to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.

This is our second time staying here. The rooms are large, comfy, and clean. The staff is lovely and we love the pool and breakfast!

The only complaint I have is that the eggs were labeled “veggie omelet - no meat” and mine had ham in it. Thankfully I noticed before I took a bite but I would have been very upset had I eaten it. I don’t eat pork for my own personal reasons, but I imagine that someone who refrains from eating pork for religious reasons would have been even more upset by this. Just something to beware of, but the staff was helpful in ensuring I got a veggie omelet without the meat.

The breakfast offers everything one could possibly want. Buffet style is the best! The coffee is excellent!

I traveled with my dog. For the $70 fee I would suggest to include in the room a bowl for water, 2-3 poop bags (2 dog or cat treats) and a fair size pet cushion with small blanket to cover the cushion. It is what I normally find in other hotels.
