- the beds were comfortable - location was convenient - breakfast had a good variety for the price range - the room was clean - the pool is the biggest one I've seen in a 2-3 star hotel, length is probably almost 25m! - staff was generally friendly

- the area felt quite industrial - breakfast hot foods were not the best: the boiled eggs were cold and hard, pancakes were rather inconsistent - some too hard, scrambled eggs didn't really taste much like eggs - the facilities seemed slightly aged - pool and hot tub had quite a bit of sand at the bottom, could use a deep clean and renovation - no lotion provided

The pool was almost 84 degrees, warmer than most places we've visited. I didn't stay in long (still too chilly for me) but I did get in (most places I don't). A pretty good breakfast included is a perk. The staff were all super friendly. Literally every employee we passed acknowledged us with a greeting and smile. There was a mishap between our upgrade with Booking and the hotel but Kathleen was outstanding and she and (her boss?) gave us an upgrade to our upgrade. I'm telling you the customer service is crazy good here.

Petty but the water pressure was less than average and it seems in our room at least the hot water (at max) was barely warm enough to shower.

The pool was so nice! The room was cheaper but still really nice and clean. I needed a night away with my 2 boys and we ended up with a room off the court yard which is huge with a playground right out the sliding door! 10/10 recommend we will definitely be coming back

There was a hockey tournament in town and the place was crawling with loud but polite hockey boys and their drunk parents. It made the experience a little unenjoyable as the kids where way to out of control, my 4 year old ended up getting a ball to the back in the pool because the kids where whipping it across the pool at each other and we got in the crossfire when one of the boy was a little off his shot. The kids were playing ball hockey in the halls until after midnight and when addressing the parents was told to relax they are just being kids… we really didn’t get much sleep.

The Staff! We didn’t have one person that was not smiling! The breakfast was buffet while we were there and it was good as well! I was nervous after reading some reviews but I feel like the bad reviews were maybe blown out of proportion as our stay was amazing. We would book here again.

Hallway carpets are a tripping hazard as they are very loose. Bathrooms on the wing we were in were very small and you have to enter the whole bathroom just to shut the door.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet - good selection. My sister, niece and myself really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service and prices very reasonable. Hotel is well located - easy access to the highway.

The room slept three- 2 beds and l pullout couch. The beds were superb but the mattress on the pullout had seen better days and was really uncomfortable. One of us had a terrible night's sleep. A twin size bed with a decent mattress would have been better for a room advertised as sleeping three.

We went to attend a wedding. The event organizer, Natasha, was excellent. She was well organized and was very attentive to every detail. There was a breakfast the next day. The staff at the front desk, cleaner and wait staff did an excellent job.

The main meal at the wedding reception was just okay. But the pastries were excellent. The breakfast the next day was passable.

The breakfast was plentiful, they had everything you could ask for! Hot and cold options, cereals, breads, fruits, eggs, meats, beans, home fries, pancakes etc. The staff at the hotel are courteous and helpful. I asked for a late checkout which was granted at no extra charge. The front desk printed a eulogy at my request. My room was quiet as requested. Location is fantastic and central to Brantford.

The rooms were nice, the beds were nice. The swimming pool was pleasantly warm and clean. The breakfast had a great variety. The staff were wonderful, especially the guy at the front desk. The location was quiet

The bathroom was small and hard to maneuver around in, and the tub was very slow draining. The hallway carpets could use an update, but overall, a clean decent good stay.

Got a family suite so the kids had bunk beds which was perfect. Room was spacious and good buffet breakfast.

Minor things like one of ceiling lights didn’t work and when we were looking under bed for a lost toy we found what looked like a leftover pizza crust from someone else, so cleaning could be a bit more thorough though generally it was clean otherwise.

Restaurant staff were absolutely amazing. Front desk staff was awesome. Due to time change the keys were really funky for times for pool. But desk was extremely helpful by letting us in.

Housekeeping, forgot or just didn't feel like doing our room. We just wanted fresh towels but we're skipped. Heard by staff they were short staffed in Housekeeping and it definitely showed in areas. The patio door was half broke. Barely opened. Overall maintenance in areas definitely needs addressed.
