The property is accessible to a lot of commercial establishments. It was close to Toronto and the airport as well. I love how clean the room is, friendly and helpful staff, and that there’s a microwave and fridge available. The price was very affordable too. I love how they accommodated my last minute extension since we had to stay another day. They didn’t make us check out and check back in and just let us stay in the same room. This was truly helpful since we had to go somewhere the last day so we did not have to do the whole checking out.
Maybe if the room has an electric stove/air fryer/rice cooker so cooking in the room would be possible.

The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and included a full-size fridge, microwave, table, desk and small TV. As it is a student residence during the school year, each room included two separate bedrooms, with a double bed in each room. This would be a very budget-friendly option for two travellers. Since I was travelling alone, it was more space than I needed.
Although there was a full-size fridge, microwave, and sink, there were no dishes, cups, or silverware, which they told me ahead of time. There are no options for coffee or tea in the room, and all food locations on the campus are not open during the summer months. However, the campus is a short taxi ride (less than 10 minutes) from Upper James Street, which has lots of restaurant options (Spring Sushi, The Keg Steakhouse, Wendy's, A&W, Subway, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and lots more!) and gas stations.

We had a great experience with the helpful staff at the hotel! On the morning of our departure, it was raining, and we were in a rush to get to the car with our baby. In the hurry, we accidentally took the room cards with us. About an hour later, we realized that and messaged the hotel, saying we would drive back to return the cards. Shortly after, we received a call from the hotel, assuring us that it was fine and there was no need to drive back just to return the cards. Their understanding and prompt response were greatly appreciated. If we go to Hamilton next time, we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

The residence is very basic, but it has all that you need since you know what you're paying for. There is a water fountain so if you have a bottle you don't need to buy extra. Rooms are pretty basic but it is all that we needed for our stay. The staff was always attentive and exceptional, I'd recommend this place especially if you're between Toronto and Niagara, but mostly for those who have a car and can go around without any problems.
The double bed was quite small for us.

We had read the reviews and decided that this "no-frills" accommodation was just what we needed. Since we barely spent time at the hotel other than at night, sleeping, we did not require anything that was not offered. There was plenty of parking space in the allotted parking area, with the main parking lot having a capacity of hundreds and hundreds of cars, but crowded, apparently, when some event is taking place, which we did not experience. We never had an issue with finding a suitable berth. Driving a rented car, we cannot assess the public transit options, but my impression is they are scanty. By car, however, Hamilton and the neighbouring towns are extremely easy to reach, and the parking situation was not as horrible (perhaps due to the summer season) as we had experienced. The wifi coverage was excellent.
There was a misunderstanding with the room cleaning services. Officially, the cleaners come every third day, but on the third day, we were in when they would clean the room, so we asked them to come the next day. But they did not, so we waited five days, and when they did come, they would not touch our beds because "our items" were on them. While I understand this, it was a little nuisance to experience. However, since we took the accommodation for practical reasons of sleeping overnight, even this was but a minor issue.

Can't beat the price for a two-bedroom room in Hamilton. Good beds and linens and clean. Nice to have a kitchen and full-size fridge and freezer. Free parking in the lot next to the hotel was great. The bus to downtown can be accessed nearby. Friendly staff at the front desk.
It's got an institutional look and feel, but it's a dorm, so expected.

Lots of space, easy and lots of parking, good sound insulation from other rooms, two TV's, fridge and microwave, nice game room with pool, foosball and ping pong
Thermostat would only turn on/off with large temperature swings, so we were either too hot or too cold. Shower pressure not great.

Blen at the reception was friendly and very helpful along our stay, they provide us with kettle and iron, not far from the bus terminal and closer to a bus stop, quiet, Room size is great
Shower without a hose to wash our kid, no extra pillows was available, also it wasn't clear on booking that you have to pay for washing clothes, but after all was so good because of nice stuff

We had stayed at Mohawk previously and were not disappointed by the facilities, we had in room meals every day, usually breakfast, fridge was handy, as was microwave. Rooms were as clean and neat as can be expected given it is a college residence, so no complaints.
Parking in front of building rather than to the far side/end. Is there access to the college pool and rec centre, maybe should be, make the stay more complete. We stayed on a holiday weekend, so place was relatively quiet. Would like to see some type of food of food service, perhaps info on food availalbe at the college?

The location was great. We had to catch the train in the morning and it wasn’t very far away. The Mohawk college campus on the grounds were beautiful. Very clean rooms.
The beds were good but the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. Would have been nice to have access to breakfast in the building, especially coffee. Found the Tim Horton at the college campus but it was very hard to find. Would be nice to advertise where it is. Overall all it was a great stay and I would definitely stay there again. The whole building was spotless. Thanks to all the wonderful cleaning staff.
