The Waterfront Hotel has a excellent location on the lovely seafront walk way in Burlington. Our room was very comfortable and kept very clean by housekeeping every day of our stay. The breakfast which is included in the room price was adequate with a good range of hot and cold drinks, cereals and a small selection of fruit and sweet pastries. The hot food selection was limited to omelettes, burgers or sausages and small cut fried potatoes, overall food was satisfactory for us. Overall the hotel we enjoyed our stay was good value for money.

The 2 negatives were firstly the commercial size extractor fans on the flat roof on the ground level flat roof on top of the Port House Kitchen and bar were switched on 24 hours a day and the noise was noisy even on our top 6th floor room which wakened me up several times in the night during our 10 night stay. Secondly the outside patio area was only available for hotel guest from the start to finish of the breakfast time due to the fact the patio belonged to the Port House Bar which opened around 11.00am and after that time you could not sit outside unless you bought a drink or a meal from the bar.

I love the waterfront location and easy parking and check-in. The staff are great and the included breakfast is quite good. If you have a “park view” you can see Lake Ontario from your room and that is also the quiet side. The pool area is nice too.

Although I was assured the pool was heated it wasn’t. Everyone there that day made the same comments about it being freezing. There is no hot tub. The floors in the changing area are extremely slippery when wet. Should be coated with some kind of non-slip surface. The site said “king pillow-top mattress” which was not correct. It was one of the hardest hotel beds I’ve ever encountered. Should add some mattress toppers or at least make them available on request. I was told they didn’t have any when I made my request.

The location was great. I loved being at the waterfront. I was able to bring my dog, and my kids had a blast in the pool. It was a spacious room and I felt we were very comfortable. Lots of places to eat close by too, so you don't have to drive to get to good food.

The complimentary breakfast was done at 10 a.m., and I wish someone had told us that somewhat because we missed it the first morning. I noticed some stains on the sofa bed cushions when I was putting the cushions back on, so hopefully, they are clean for the next visitor. There wasn't enough parking because local people enjoying the riverfront use the same parking lot as a pay and display lot. It would be great if the lot was just for the hotel. But I get it. I assumed that because I had to pay for parking that there would be parking. They made me a spot, but it was stressful when I arrived.

The hotel is situated right on Lake Ontario in Burlington. There is a lovely walking path around the lake with places to sit and enjoy the sun. Lots of restaurants in the area, but truthfully the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good with great salads.

They include breakfast. And it was alright. They could step up their breakfast quality a wee bit. Maybe offer bags of oatmeal, plain yogurt, and more variety of fruit since they only had apples. There wasn't enough seating the second day, but the staff quickly fixed that problem.

We attended a wedding at the posh hotel across the parking lot but didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg just for a bed for one night. The photos in the Waterfront hotel ad didn’t do it justice! We expected a tired property but it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious and quiet. The breakfast was typical hotel fare but it hit the spot, and the coffee was terrific. Great value for the money.

There wasn’t an awful lot of places to sit and enjoy breakfast. There was an outdoor patio but having breakfast outside on a cold, damp November morning wasn’t anything we were interested in.

The location is amazing. The staff were helpful. The restaurant at the Port House was very good. There was a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker, which was great. We used them all.

The carpet in our room was very stained. The furnishings tired. The breakfast was disappointing with very limited fresh fruit. Tables and seating for breakfast was inadequate for the number of guests.

The area, the location. I've been in this location and the same hotel many times before. The coffee stand is available anytime. The breakfast is way better than other hotels that provide breakfast. I love how they have a take out box, perfect if your better half decide to sleep in.

Front desk gently, I saw him last summer but was not very friendly and saw him again. Nothing has changed. Representing a hotel such as this location, they need someone more welcoming.

Location- great access to the waterfront and lovely cafes. Price - much cheaper than the Marriott next door. Staff - always helpful and polite. Room size and bedding.

It was unbelievably noisy in the evenings. We honestly thought the music from the parties and salsa dancing we being piped into our room. There was a strong smell which we could not clear. More healthy choices at breakfast please.

Comfortable and spacious room; immediate access to the lakeside park and beautiful views; basic daily breakfast; small pool to freshen up and gym; plenty of great food nearby; great staff, especially Yousif and his team

Had a fantastic stay but guests should know that parking is public and chargeable - can be difficult to get a spot on busy weekends as spaces aren’t guaranteed

Great location for attending the Sound of Music festival! Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Everything was good. We were just a tiny bit disappointed in the view from room 316. The description notes park and lake view, but we could barely see either due to the giant tree blocking the view. It wasn't a big deal, just not the view we expected. The price has increased considerably since our last visit but then everything is more expensive these days. We still had a nice stay.
