I love the waterfront location and easy parking and check-in. The staff are great and the included breakfast is quite good. If you have a “park view” you can see Lake Ontario from your room and that is also the quiet side. The pool area is nice too.

Although I was assured the pool was heated it wasn’t. Everyone there that day made the same comments about it being freezing. There is no hot tub. The floors in the changing area are extremely slippery when wet. Should be coated with some kind of non-slip surface. The site said “king pillow-top mattress” which was not correct. It was one of the hardest hotel beds I’ve ever encountered. Should add some mattress toppers or at least make them available on request. I was told they didn’t have any when I made my request.

We attended a wedding at the posh hotel across the parking lot but didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg just for a bed for one night. The photos in the Waterfront hotel ad didn’t do it justice! We expected a tired property but it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious and quiet. The breakfast was typical hotel fare but it hit the spot, and the coffee was terrific. Great value for the money.

There wasn’t an awful lot of places to sit and enjoy breakfast. There was an outdoor patio but having breakfast outside on a cold, damp November morning wasn’t anything we were interested in.

Great location for attending the Sound of Music festival! Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Everything was good. We were just a tiny bit disappointed in the view from room 316. The description notes park and lake view, but we could barely see either due to the giant tree blocking the view. It wasn't a big deal, just not the view we expected. The price has increased considerably since our last visit but then everything is more expensive these days. We still had a nice stay.

Staff at check in were very cheery and helpful, expecially because there was a wedding there and no parking to be found. The room was hansomely decorated with a nautical theme in the art; we enjoyed the view over the park, pier and small beach area. Nice place to walk in the evening or morning. Beds were very comfortable, nice shower, everything you needed was there. Very good breakfast - a treat to sit on the patio overlooking the lake.

Location was a plus and a minus. Great place to be, but very crowded area on a weekend; parking and traffic problematic. Would suggest a non-slip mat for the bath/shower.

Property is right on the lakefront. Fantastic location. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and walkway on lakeshore. Comfy beds, nice sized room.

Getting parking was a bit difficult as the lot is shared with the public. We had a small issue with the a/c which we had to solve ourselves. (We called down and front desk was unable to assist and they didn’t offer to send anyone up to help). They stuck us in a room overlooking the roof. We felt being Sunday (aka not so busy), they could have done better, especially since we made a request and only staying 1 night. Overall, was fine.

The hotel is located on the waterfront. It had excellent shops and restaurants in the immediate location to the hotel. Upon arrival staff member was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was basic but ok.

Unfortunately i would have to say communication with guests. Despite emailing the hotel I have still not received a response. Therefore communication not great. In addition seating at breakfast time quite limited.

This was our fifth stay at this hotel. It is close to my family in Burlington. We love being close to the water, the staff is always great. There was a problem with one of the rooms doors, we had two rooms. We told the front desk and within 30 minutes the dead bolt on the door was changed and working perfectly, we were all very impressed and thankful. The second night returning from a family get together we could not find parking; the front desk again was very helpful and within three minutes we had parking. We travel with kids, we love the pool, the park and we feel very safe in this hotel. The rooms are very clean, we love the breakfast in the morning and the variety of items to choose from.

I wish the price was cheaper however it is worth the money.

Front desk very helpful. They even went out of their way to make a reservation for us to have dinner at the restaurant next-door. The complementary breakfast was good and not microwaved food. The room was set up nicely. It was spacious and comfortable.

There was not enough tables for people to sit and have breakfast. There were several large groups of people who had combined tables and were just sitting and having conversation. It would’ve been beneficial to have staff ask them to move to the couches and lounging areas if they just wanted to talk so that the tables could’ve been freed up for people trying to have breakfast. They ran out of hot food and it was a bit of a wait for food to be replenished. The room needed a bath mat. There was a nice handicap bar to hold onto to get into the tub but the tub was very slippery. Used a towel which wasn’t the best but it worked.

The staff are very thoughtful.. I took my husband for a quick get away to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and my birthday. We booked a Queen room with 2 beds and parkview because that was our only option at the time. In the special request section I asked for a quiet room with a nice view as we are celebrating our anniversary and birthday. I also mentioned we will be checking in late. We were very surprised when we arrived at the hotel.. They upgraded us to a King bedroom and that's not all. They left us a card wishing us happy anniversary on behalf of the waterfront hotel with 2 bottles of water and an assortment of snacks. I was moved by the level of customer service. In addition when we woke up in the Morning we had a clear and unobstructed view of the waterfront. The room was clean as well. I have since read comments of extra charge for broken windows etc. We always leave out hotel rooms cleans and in the manner we got it. We take videos of our hotel room before and after we leave when we are required to leave a deposit to protect both our interest. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. I was about to pay for the parking through the meter and the staff advised me to pay through the hotel. It is much cheaper. Thanks Waterfront Hotel for an exceptional stay!

Location at the waterfront was great as Burlington has an exceptional park. Our check in clerk, Kristi, was able to correct a Booking.com error (one of our 2 rooms was cancelled by Booking.com before arrival, not us) and both myself and my traveling partners were able to get rooms.

There is nothing about this stay that I did not like except the surprise of one room cancelled by Booking.com without our prompt prior to our arrival. Clerk said Booking.com listed as unable to process payment for the cancelled room but that is odd as my second room, also under my name, was paid via my account with Booking.com.
