Spacious, stylish apartments, incredibly well-equipped (dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, oven, Nespresso machine etc). Staff are invisible but attentive and easily contactable when you need them to be. Beds were extremely comfortable. The location is very convenient for the Go Transit bus station and downtown Hamilton, and there are loads of decent pubs and restaurants on your doorstep...
There are loads of pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, so at weekends the noise levels late into the night are teeth-clenchingly high. (On weekdays it was fine.) Although there are wardrobes with hangers, there are no drawers anywhere, so nowhere to put clothes you don't want to hang up. I couldn't get the fancy Bluetooth speaker to work. And the hot water could have been a shade hotter. These are tiny gripes, though, in the scheme of things.

Friendly and helpful staff readily available by text - so easy to check in and out and they were eager to accommodate my requests. I can't rave enough about how taken care of we felt! Plus, the apartment was huge, bright, well-equipped, and so comfortable. Parking is private and secured and worth every penny. Loved the keyless entry and the full kitchen with ALL the appliances, including a Nespresso machine WITH complimentary pods! They even provide dish soap, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent! The peppermint body wash, shampoo, and conditioner was SO refreshing after a long travel day. This place is a total gem. .
Some apartments don't have windows in the bedroom. The washer dryer combo unit is only good for washing. Everything smells funky if you use the dryer function.

The location was good and easily within walking distance of the office. I loved having the washer and dryer as I didn't think I would need it but I did! And everything was self-contained within the room such as a kitchen if you felt like cooking with all the basic utensils and supplies. The shower gel also smelled nice :)
I usually like a firm bed so I found the bed a little too soft. There were lights in the main living room but wish it was a little brighter...again - just a personal preference. For accessing the hotel and your room, you had to type your code in the elevator and a few other locations - I believe it was a 6 digit code - might have been easier to just have a unique QR code and tap from your phone (if possible).

This was the ideal setup for a visit to Hamilton. I was looking for a place to stay where I could also have some work discussions...not something I wanted to do sitting on a mattress and an uncomfortable chair in a normal hotel room. So the living space in the Laundry Rooms was exactly right, relaxed and comfortable. The separate bedroom was very dark, most mornings I didn't know the sun was up. Sleep quality good. Internet service is fast. Location is fantastic. Ate in both of the restaurants adjacent, Plank and Ciao Bella. Excellent meals at both; don't sleep on the pineapple pizza at Plank, yeah pineapple doesn't belong on pizza but when it is marinated in mezcal, that's a different story. A 24 hour market is around the corner. Value for money a major bonus as well. I felt this was better than a room at the typical hotels in town.
It is a little tiring to enter the vestibule / building / elevator / room with a code, but safety is important. Parking, as others have mentioned, is complicated. Typically I parked in one of the nearby surface lots, then moved to the street for overnight since they reset their clocks at 5 AM or 6 AM and the street parking doesn't require payment until 8 AM. The hotel's price for garage parking was a lot higher than this approach.

Great amount of space, kitchen facilities, large bathrooms, good bedding, fun design. Good restaurants around building. Nespresso includes some pucks. Garage option (separate charge)
Plugs in bedrooms are not placed at night stands, so you can’t have your charging phone or watch next to you. Only overhead light in one bedroom, missing a lamp. Paint is scuffed, particularly baseboards (they used flat white paint) so it doesn’t look as fresh. Upholstery isn’t looking as fresh and could use a good steam cleaning. Shower head deserves an upgrade. Queen bedroom door doesn’t close because of furniture placement, should put in smaller nightstands to move bed over.

Location, cleanliness, in-room amenities, comfortable bed and furniture, lighting, the view, large windows and "balcony", room size, and layout. Customer service was excellent, addressing questions and fulfilling requests quickly.
Small bathroom. Prefer walk-in shower instead of the tub/shower combination. Hinged, glass door for the shower did not work well; Fragile and awkward in the tight space. Body wash was empty. Kitchen dish soap was empty. No hot water until I worked with the in-line heater. Light coloured walls and furniture show some scuffs and stains from previous guests. None of these are major issues. Just minor annoyances.

Clean and modern look was very appealing. Everything was easy to find, and we didn't look hard for what we needed. Very convenient location for transportation whether on foot, scooter, bus or train Easy to access/communicate over text or email. The market around the corner was Incredibly handy!
Parking we had was still convenient for the location if you are non-disabled. Onsite parking, of course, would be ideal, but FCFS make sense. There's a fan in the bathroom and above the washer/dryer that are on constantly on. It did not disturb sleep but was noticeable if doors were not closed.

The virtual check in was easy. I loved having the extra space of a condo rather than frills (gym, daily unnecessary cleaning etc). It really felt like a bike away from home for my week of training. Staff were helpful (desperately needed now coffee pods not during staffed hours but they were creative in helping me out). I would recommend!
I asked for a blanket but was given sheets (I got a bit cold in the living room at night with the glass doors). I ended up buying myself a little blanket.

We booked it because of the layout - we liked having separate bedrooms and a kitchen. The bed was comfy. I was concerned there would be a lot of noise as it's definitely on a lively night street, but we didn't hear anything.
I was disappointed in the cleanliness. It was clean - but not as clean as I would expect, especially at that price point. There was some food stuck to the wall near the dining table and the bathroom was really dusty along the baseboards. There were also some stains on the towels. I also found the # of text messages about the stay to be annoying.

Being able to go to my apartment balcony overlooking the block to choose a place to eat. Enjoyed The Plank, The Lobby and The BSideSocial and the good staff there. You could see all the block had to offer and Google menus and all within walking distance. You can’t access elevators to apartments without a code, and if anyone manages to slip in, you can’t access floors without a code. Great for security. Clean apartments with fresh designs and well appointed. On site manager was great - friendly and responsive.
Read these as not a deterrent in any way. I would suggest some bureaus or shelving in bedroom closets. I would also suggest a laundry basket in laundry room. While soundproofed I assume, come Fri/Sat night, we you may hear the music/party noise from the Augusta Street establishments. Some may not care, some may. This is all given in a constructive vein, as we stayed elsewhere similarly priced, and it didn’t even compare to the favourability of The Laundry Rooms. Thank you.
