Great location, easy to access. Parking right outside your door. Quiet with little street noise. Very clean. Nice, bright modern room with a huge bathroom. Handy to have fridge and microwave in room. Huge TV in room though we did not use it. Wifi worked great. Great breakfast. Very pleasant staff.

I liked everything. Improvements, in my opinion, would include putting a box of Kleenex in the room and extra toilet paper under the bathroom sink. Also a garbage can and a recycling bin in the room, there was only the one in the bathroom. And a picture on the wall to give the room a splash of color.

The staff was amazing. I walked up from the bus stop (including an unneeded and confusing detour courtesy of Google Maps), arriving hot and out of breath. The front desk person immediately offered me a bottle of water. Staff throughout my stay were kind and helpful. The room was larger than expected, clean, and comfortable. Overall, great value for the price.

I flew in from Saskatoon and used transit to get there from Pearson. It's a small trek from the nearest bus stop (esp with luggage) and a good walking distance (~15 min) from the nearest restaurants. The provided breakfast is scanty with signage asking that you take just one thing (eg 1/2 a Danish or an individual yogurt).

The front desk was friendly The room is basic but sufficient, the water was hot and there was a bar of soap and shampoo. The bed was so comfortable; the A/C did it's job. It should be given a raise.The housekeepers were joyful and I knew they enjoyed their job.

The room (#6) is one of the outdated rooms. Looking at reviews I understand the rooms are being upgraded. In the morning I noticed about 10 ants by the toilet that were in and out of the cracks in the baseboard. I informed housekeeping. I recommend a reading light for BOTH sides of the bed.

When you book a motel room, you expect a lower standard than a hotel quite often. I was impressed at how well the room was furnished and finished, though, and felt like the owners cared about their motel and its patrons. It felt as close to a hotel room as a motel could, I think.

The City View set its standards high, and I cannot find fault with that. The only thing I might like better is if the breakfast started earlier and offered more selection. But any breakfast at a motel is virtually unheard of, so this is not a criticism, just a suggestion to elevate the experience even higher.

Breakfast is oversold, they would do well by offering a deal at the local diner. I don't appreciate dominate TV programs in the lobby, in the morning. I chose to walk out instead of complaining. Now that I know, I can adjust, if I ever get back this way.

Reasonable price , however when I booked the second consecutive weekend Sept20-22nd on booking.com the rate jumped $100. There did not seem to be any options to inquire or contact Inn directly to discuss this. I cancelled and found alternative accommodation.

I found the bed uncomfortable. The outdoor sitting area was unkempt and ground uneven, seating uncomfortable, which is a shame due to the opportunity to relax with a beverage and appreciate the view. I did not appreciate this area also seemed to be a smoking area. Dirty smelly ashtray on table. I suggest a designated signed smoking area.

Everything is on par for the price we paid. Would not expect luxury, but did not need it for this stay. It was a quiet room which was perfect for getting a good night's sleep. Great location. Nice hilltop view. Close enough to restaurants and activities in all directions. For the price, the room quality was as expected. Decor has been updated, and matches the price level (i.e. not luxury). Decent, but not luxurious. Clean, soft towels, comfortable bed with updated clean pillows and duvet. Soap was very basic. Table, chairs, refrigerator, shelves and hangars very basic. Nice shower tiles; shower floor base was slightly slippery with no grab bars. Friendly, helpful staff (although more limited staffing hours than a big chain, which is to be expected). Best value of this room is that it is a good price with a good location and great for a good night's sleep.

My stay ended up being for 3 nights due to unforseen circumstances. 2 nights were in a recently renovated room #17, and everything was new. The bed was comfortable, the overall decor was chic, and it was a very pleasant experience. It was like being in a boutique motel.

The 3rd night was in a room #3 that had been partially renovated, but the a/c unit and some of the furnishings were shabby and worn. The overall experience was fine but not nearly as comfortable and clean feeling or looking as the 1st room.

The place was clean (no bad smell), clean towels, clean bed sheets, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap), mini fridge, microwave, TV and air conditioner in the bedroom. You park in front of your unit. They gave us 2 bottles of water for free. The place is perfect for a quick stop on your route if needed.

The carpet was a bit sticky. The breakfast (included) was very simple (bread, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, apples), but appreciated to have at least a coffee in the morning before leaving. The air conditioner in the room was very loud and interrupted our sleep several times.

I loved the location, very close to RBG and lots of beautiful restaurants! They’re non smoking rooms, however there’s a beautiful smoking area with patio chairs and tables! I enjoyed my stay so much that I stayed an extra night! The staff were incredible, and very accommodating! The room was spotless, and the beds and pillows were so so comfortable! Excellent stay 10/10 for price, value, and service !
