The front desk staff is truly outstanding, with special recognition to Alyssa. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Her attentiveness and dedication exceeded expectations. Having stayed at numerous hotels across Canada, the Caribbean, and Asia, I can confidently say the service here — especially from Alyssa — ranks among the very best. A thank you as well to General Manager Neil, who responded promptly and thoughtfully to all my questions and concerns.

There was an issue with the cleaning staff but Alyssa resolved it quickly and to my satisfaction.

The hotel manager James and front desk staff was extraordinary, I was upgraded to the loft because the cleanliness of the room was unbelievably poor and unacceptable when I checked in, I was going to go elsewhere. So, the kindness of the upgrade was very much appreciated and made it worth my money to extend my stay. However, cleanliness was a huge problem. It was challenging even getting the garbage taken out and clean towels, the cleaning staff even refused to take the garbage 3 times during my stay ( simple white garbage bag ) as my room number was not on her list to clean , I was told by housekeeping. Despite expressing my concerns several times and talking with the front desk and housekeeping manager, nothing changed There was spider webs on the roof and poorly poorly cleaned. I had to buy cleaning products to make my long term stay comfortable. But the loft upgrade made it worth the stay and the excellent service provided by James and front desk staff upgrading me and understanding my concerns, I could see they are facing challenging times with housekeeping Also had a wo.an sleeping in the lobby that overdose and we ambulance had to be called and police at the hotel 3 times . My stay was very much a conflict as feeling comfortable and safe.

Very dirty I had to clean the room myself but having the larger loft unit was comfortable. It was disappointing I had to clean the place myself to make it comfortable to stay, as I stayed 2 weeks . I did enjoy the loft

Front desk fellow working Dec 28th around midnight was phenomenal Needed a phone charger and let me borrow his. When my phone was charged he came to collect it at my room. He also handled a very rude customer in a very professional manner after he informed the customer he could not pay by debit and needed a credit card. Was very apologetic to us as he was dealing with checking us in and the rude customer raising his voice. 10/10 customer service if back in the area and need a place to stay this will be it....large room 2 tvs...impressive

That we were there only a short time....12:00 am check in and had to leave at 8:45. Due to family commitments

The front desk person was terrific. We had a problem getting to the hotel because of road closures and construction detours. We called the front desk and spoke to the gentleman there. I apologize but I don't remember his name but it starts with an "S". He stayed on the phone with us and got to the hotel. Once inside, there was a problem with the reservation and he straightened it out for us.

There was no stopper for the bathtub. I have MS and need to soak my legs each night to offset the pain. I couldn't find anything to act as a stopper. I called the front desk and the man there called around but could not locate a stopper. I appreciated him trying. I know it seems like a small thing but with no pain relief, I cannot sleep so I was up all night.

The mattress was a bit soft on one side (the one closest to the bathroom, so most used) and the black out curtain didn't cover the whole window so a bright parking lot light shone directly into the room. Those are the ONLY small complaints. The handicapped room was very large (lots of room for my rollator) with well appointed walk in shower, and with sink, mirror and amenities table designed for wheelchair access. Hooks were at wheelchair height (they often aren't in handicapped rooms). Check in was warm, welcoming, quick and efficient, as was checkout. The handicapped room was very close to the lobby (most hotels locate them down the far end of the longest hallways). There is disabled parking right beside the entrance. There are two restaurants on-site - a very good steakhouse and an equally good Denny's and both offered room service. Wifi was excellent. Great indoor pool. The hotel is literally right off the 403, for easy off and easy back on in the morning. The room and bathroom were pristine, the entire hotel clean and well appointed. I would very happily stay at this hotel again.

That bright light shining straight onto the head of the bed was annoying. Also the room thermostat and/or the individual heating cooling unit didn't appear to work. Most people wouldn't mind, but I find 21.5C a bit warm for sleep and I like to have fresh air at night (usually the 'fan' function would draw in fresh air). But, really, these are small issues compared to all the very positive aspects for disabled persons staying at this hotel.

Guest Services Mgr. Garima Kinha gave me prompt assistance with technical problems with one of the suite's televisions and more so with obtaining charging devices for my cell phone which lacked correct wiring. Just post Air Canada strike a (male) morning front desk staffer printed my boarding passes for my flight back to B.C. and this lowered my stress level!

Couldn't think of anything

I liked that it had a living area, a kitchen area and a separate bedroom. The kitchen with the stove for cooking was an excellent aspect As well as the cookware that was also provided

I didn't like the fact that there was no guest laundry room. I think you should look into adding one to the property. My recent stay at The Sandman

Loved having the studio with living room and kitchen which made it more comfortable for relaxing, watching TV and enjoying some food. Loved being able to access both Denny's and Chop restaurants from inside hotel. Location is also near lots of shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is right off the highway, so traffic noise is constantly there, even through the night. Mattresses were too soft for our liking.

Friendly staff. Clean room. TV channels were great. Reception area/foyer very tastefully decorated.

Temperature of the room- too hot even after I dropped it. And I found the air to be very dry, very static. I was in room 323-handicap- it was fine but the reflection from the 2 peep holes hit me right in the eyes, while trying to sleep. Road noise. I was on the highway side. And couldn't turn the fan any higher to help with the noise.

I enjoyed everything about the property! I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I also really liked that there was a steakhouse on site! I had visited there for dinner both of the nights me and my boyfriend stayed and we had Denny’s when we had arrived as well! I really liked how spacious the rooms were and how clean and pristine everything was. the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room had everything and more that we had needed! the location was also very convenient and bright and located close to the highway which was very nice!

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property
