Room was quiet, spacious, very clean and well-equipped. My two teens and I stayed 4 nights for a sports competition and after long days at the venue, we really appreciated the extra touches when we returned to the room, such as restocking the tea/coffee/hot chocolate, fresh towels, well-made beds and a fantastic shower. The little self-serve refreshment room was stocked with juice and packaged goodies and was easy to access, which was perfect for our needs. We travel a fair amount, and Capri Inn fills an important niche in the accommodation ecosystem: a locally-owned motel offering excellent value for money, a great location and above and beyond customer service. We are returning in 3 weeks for another event and have already booked our room!

We had such a great time at Capri Inn! Staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and the place felt quiet and peaceful (we had a water view room). Our room was very clean, and the bed was comfy. Initially I was a bit nervous as a lot of hotel rooms have beds that are too soft/does not provided ample support, but thankfully, we both had the best sleep here. It also helped that we had a wonderful view to wake up to. Even though we originally booked one night, after travelling different parts of the Niagara region (and because we felt so relaxed and cozy at Capri Inn), we ended up extending and staying an extra night. Overall, Capri Inn was way better than we expected (not to mention good value!).

Honestly, not much. Maybe the beds were a bit on the higher side (& I am short)?

Firstly, we were struggling with our large suitcases, as we had to climb a flight of stairs. Very quickly a staff member approached us and offered to help. As this lady was of slight build we could not accept, however another male employee, again quickly came and helped us to our room. Once in our room, we noticed that it was very clean, we inspected the sheets etc. for cleanliness, spotless, as was the entire room and bathroom. There was a coffee maker with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There was also a small fridge. Last but not least, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep.

The rooms were clean and large. Each room had 2 beds, plus our room (I'm not sure about the other) had a couch, coffee table, and a small dining area. I was nice to not feel cramped into a small room. The bed wasn't as comfortable as home (it rarely is), but I had a good sleep and was refreshed for the day.

I can't think of anything. We were kindly greeted by the staff both at check-in and check-out. We didn't have any issues at all. I supposed an elevator would have been nice to get to the second floor, but the property design is the property design.

Capri Inn was no more than 20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was very clean. The kids loved the complimentary juice and snacks in the morning and I loved the view of the canal from my room. My husband appreciated how quiet it was so there were no issues with sleeping and they had picnic tables out on the lawn so we could eat our meals out there. We would definitely stay there again.

We stay here whenever we visit relatives in St. Catharines. The motel is not overly fancy but is clean, comfortable and provides the basic amenities for shorter stays. The staff are always helpful and friendly hence we return here when we have to stay in St. Catherines. Since it is just off the QEW exit to Ontario Street it is a good location.

Nothing really. Although they do provide some breakfast items we prefer to eat at a nearby restaurant.

We travel with a service dog and we are usually given a hard time about it at reception. However, at the capri Inn, we showed the documentation, and they were very kind and accepting about us having our dog in the room. The staff at reception when we checked in was very friendly. In fact, we came to see the solar eclipse, and I asked if we could find glasses anywhere, and an astronomer happened to be staying in the inn and gladly gave us some of his glasses. What serendipity. The location of the Capri Inn is convenient and I am now drinking my morning coffee overlooking a beautiful pond and I have seen blue Jays, red wing blackbirds and about 20 other kinds of birds! I highly recommend staying here.

Great location for easy travel to area attractions, surprisingly quiet, very clean rooms with comfy beds, and staff was amazing.

Rooms are non-smoking but guests can smoke right outside the rooms — if you’re sensitive to smoke, it can come in a tiny bit if your neighbors are standing outside their doors smoking. Not overwhelming though, and the rooms do not smell like smoke at all.

We arrived after 2100 and a very warm and friendly welcome by Ben was the start of a lovely stay. The room was spotlessly clean, cosy with plenty of clothing space including plenty of hangers and lovely clean towels. There was the thoughtful touch of a nightlight in the bathroom which was very welcome. Also nice to see was a bible which was a pleasant surprise as it's rare to see one in hotels these day and will be appreciated by travellers who wish to read one. The next morning we awoke to a most beautiful, sunny lake view with swans and ducks and met the just as warm and friendly Julia. Muffins, breakfast bars and juice are provided in the refreshment room every morning. The hotel is centrally placed to walk to a variety of food outlets for breakfast, lunch, dinner and shops. It's on a bus route which will take you to the malls, or equally its just as easy and not too far out of the way to order a reasonably priced uber. For UK travellers, to make a comparison for a reasonably priced stay it's way better than a Travelodge! The room was perfect for our stay and the proprietors do/have done their best to/and superbly upkeep the hotel to a good standard. I would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel.

Nothing really. The only piece of constructive criticism I'd like to add is: I thought a grab bar should be on the wall for stepping in the bath to shower. However, this wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Everything! Charming local motel, impeccably managed! Very clean, retro-charming, all details covered- plush white towels, great bed and pillows, bathroom was sparkling clean with great shower, all things worked! (a rare thing, sadly) - all plumbing fixtures, the TV, light fixtures, etc.. Even had a nice lake view out our window, and nice picnic tables outside. Location right off the highway but easy to get to and not noisy. Loved this place!
