Staying at the Blue Moon Motel was one of the highlights of our trip. We even stayed at a five-star hotel in Toronto afterwards and, honestly, we preferred the Blue Moon! The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Outside, there are three barbecues by the pool, complete with picnic tables under a gazebo, which made meals extra fun. The swimming pool was wonderfully warm, surrounded by flowers and greenery that made it feel like a private little oasis rather than a roadside stop. Our kids absolutely loved it—there’s a small playground, plenty of space to play, and they even made friends with the owner’s nephews. We’re already hoping to return next year so they can see each other again. One of the unexpected highlights was spotting a couple of raccoons sleeping in the trees! The whole place feels very family friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff were discreet, kind, and always ready to help when needed. We truly loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

The property is very quaint, very well maintained and obviously well attended daily. Lots of hanging baskets, flower beds and plants. The pool is secluded with three barbecues and a small seated area attached. The room we had was spotless. Our kitchenette was provided with sufficient necessities. Very comfortable beds. Nice big tv and cinder block construction which aided a quiet experience. Staff very friendly and accommodating, super easy check in and out. Close to a number of really good restaurants which are less expensive where there is no added tourist tax.

The Blue Moon is a fair distance up Lundy’s Lane from the tourist area and the falls. If you have a car it’s no problem. No car, take the time to investigate the bus system which for us was frustrating to navigate.

Staff were so friendly! The pool was perfect. The area was absolutely gorgeous, plants were beautiful and well taken care of, and if you brought food from home there was a BBQ. And it is perfect because it wasn't in the down town core and there's quiet hours, so you could enjoy your sleep without aggressive partying!

The internet was very spotty. It could have been the amount of people. But they have a TV with a few channels, so it wasn't bad. And the shower head is not adjustable. So it wasn't easy to rinse off the soap off your body but great to get the shampoo out of your hair!

Blue Moon Motel was just a 10 minute drive from the Skywheel and other attractions. Cleanliness was a huge concern when searching for places to stay, and this motel was very clean! The motel was easy to find, plenty of -free- parking, quiet and there was a well maintained pool that was open until 10:00pm. There were even some pool floats, noodles and toys that my grandson enjoyed! The room was wonderfully cool when we arrived, and the refrigerator was already cold. The reception area and the property outside was full of beautiful plants and flowers. A lot care and pride is put into this property, outside and inside, and it shows. I would stay here again without even looking anywhere else.

If I had to find something I didn't like, I guess it would be the lack of an ice machine. However, the refrigerator and freezer actually kept things cold and frozen, so it wasn't an issue.

The room was very nice and clean. The room was small but very functional. The owners did a lovely job with all the potted plants and the pool decor as well. I was very impressed with the BBQ/picnic area. There are 2 areas set up with picnic tables and BBQs for the guests. There is also a small area with playground equipment for younger children. The pool temperature was very comfortable and it was clean! The staff were pleasant and helpful. My granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Room was very clean. Little kitchenette was good (could us a couple more oven trays ;p). Neds comfy. An older hotel but good value for money as just a place to rest your head in the end. Easy to get down to the falls (about 5-10min). Supermarket across the road. Staff were helpful and friendly. We have stayed in some "cheaper" (supposedly!) chain hotels on our trip that have been horrible. This one was clean and comfy!!! My priority is it being clean and this one definitely was. Loved the little touches too (the folding of the towels :-)). Towels for the pool in your room. Parking was free and plentiful (and easy access).

The location was perfect driving distance from the main attractions & off the beaten path areas like Fort Erie & Crystal Beach. There ,are several very good options for meals in walking distance or short driving distance. A variety of restaurants to choose from. The motel is family friendly.

The air in the room was stifling and smoky asif someone smoked the the room for a long while and they could not get the air clean before we came. I had bad sinus congestion and a headache once I was in the room. I am allergic to cigarette smoke.

Incredibly clean- I mean absolutely spotless. Gorgeous grounds with comfortable spaces to hang out. Amazing pool where it’s easy to forget you’re on Lundy’s Lane. Nice bedding- appeared to be 100% cotton sheets. Perfect value for dollar. Everything was entry level quality but that’s the price point so it was great.

Room could use a coat of paint but that’s about it. Lundy’s is sketchy of course, so know what you’re getting yourself into. I wouldn’t bring valuable items here or leave the car unlocked or let my kids stay in the room alone for long.

We had a little kitchette which worked perfect for us as we were staying 5 days. It was well supplied with what was needed to cook a simple meal (breakfast-bacon/eggs/toast). Air conditioning worked well. Enjoyed having chairs to sit outside the room (even though we are not smokers, I am sure smokers appreciated this.) I used the laundry room (washer and dryer) which was very handy. WiFi worked well. The pool was nice and was great as the weather was warm and humid. We didn't use the BBQs that were available, but they looked well maintained and clean. We met alot of people who were returning customers to the area and everyone we spoke to were happy with the rooms.

We thought it was closer to the Falls, but then it really was better being further away from that hub.

We originally booked a room with a full kitchen however when we arrived the owners apologetically informed us that the previous customers had completely trashed the room and they had not finished thoroughly cleaning it. They did have to downgrade us to a room with a kitchenette however they gave a us a refund of the difference. The rooms were small however very clean, cozy and warm. It suited our needs and my kids were comfortable. Room was turned over while we were there providing fresh towels and emptied trash cans. The water park was literally across the street and Wendy's just a short walk away. Convenient and quiet. We will definitely be coming back again.

Wish there were more options for storage and maybe a suitcase stand since there wasn't a dresser but not deal breakers. We made due and would still return in the future.
