The rooms and location were fantastic. Very clean, friendly, helpful front desk staff. The restaurant patio has an incredible view - breakfast was good, not great. We did not eat dinner there. There are wonderful new bikes to rent that are comfortable beach type bikes but with gears! We biked to town, wineries - everywhere.

Just two things that could be improved - I feel that breakfast (even if a limited menu) should be included with this room category and price. And also - the housekeeping staff (very friendly) set up their station (complete with fresh linens, snacks, drinks and cleaning supplies) near our room entrance and near one of the main entrances of the inn (both days we were there)! It did not affect our stay, but definitely detracts from the charm of the inn. This should be relocated ASAP ...

Our room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly, dinner and (nightly) drinks at the restaurant were outstanding. The location was beautiful and quiet, surrounded by vineyards and within easy walking distant of two wineries with their own restaurants, and nice walking paths along the Niagara River nearby. Town is just a short drive away, very convenient.

I would have liked to have some additional (or different furniture). We had two swivel armchairs and a low round table; instead, a sofa and maybe a larger coffee table would have been great. Just a thought/recommendation.

The bar, dining room and terrace was setting was lovely. The martini and wine selections were excellent.

The dining selections and overall taste and quality was underwhelming. The inflexibility to order certain dishes (and yet still stay within the prix fix format) was incomprehensible and disappointing. Would highly recommend your facility but would recommend to look for other dining options.

Woke up in the morning to leave the room and there were employees in a huddle over the covered piano literally having a meeting. So many other places or cubby places why right outside our door. They apologized and said that’s where they have their daily meeting. Standing around tight outside someone door. Felt privacy was invaded. Didn’t make any sense.

Riverbend Inn is beautiful... so much history. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and we offered lovely champagne which my husband and I really enjoyed. Surrounded by vineyards, what a marvelous sight. Peaceful and calm space. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Loved the decor of the dining room and our bedroom. Beautiful quaint town of NOTL/ Nigara on the Lake 👍 also a short drive away. We will definitely book here again.

The dinner menu dinner at Riverbend Inn is expensive. It looked delicious, though. We couldn't afford that as well. So, we sought out cheaper options in town. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant rude experience with a receptionist, which I did not appreciate as we were the paying guests and needed to be treated with respect. I was very upset... but thank goodness the evening receptionist heard my complaints and restored my faith in hospitality.

We had a breakfast, a lunch, and a dinner. I really enjoyed all the meals and the wait staff was wonderful.

The air conditioner was not working properly and the outside temperatures were quite high. I brought it to the staff’s attention and they brought in a high-powered fan. A new air conditioner was installed for the last night and I enjoyed much more comfortable temperature. Would have appreciated having that new air conditioner on day one. j

The perfect vineyard stay! An incredibly charming location. The fireplace in the room was great for relaxing in front of and reading a book with a great selection of wines to order from. Staff were amazing; super friendly and helpful. They take you to the sister winery nearby (Peller Estates) in a golf cart for a free wine tasting. That one also had an excellent restaurant with great food and wine pairing

No elevator to access upper floors. No bellhop to help with luggage either

we arrived less than ten minutes after 10:30am and were refused to have breakfast in the dining room. we were late, wet because of the rain after cutting our golf round short suet to the rain, and yet they would not accommodate their guests. simply not the way to impress and wow your customers. spoiled our stay at the in. also we had reservations for dinner, booked well in advance and a few days before they unilaterally cancelled saying they decided to begin their fall schedule and would be closed for dinner on Tuesday, yet they had accepted our reservation weeks before. overall, not a great experience. not sure we will return. our room was not properly serviced. our bed was not made, although they did service the bathroom.

We loved hotel and vineyard our room was very well proportioned and loved the fireplace our bed was super comfortable and was pleasantly surprised to see the vineyards wines on display on the mantle. We also loved the complimentary wine tasting at the vineyard and the staff were so friendly we felt right at home.

When I asked for a kettle to make tea we were given a jug of hot water and no proper tea cup I had to use the very small coffee cup and the hot water wasn’t too hot.

Beautiful setting, room was exactly as advertised. All staff were amazing and very thoightful.

Our fireplace didn't work and the staff tried to fix it. Would have liked to have been told it could not be fixed during our stay. We didn't let it affect our weekend and had the fireplace chanel on instead. The crackling fire with our drinks and a light snowfall was Hallmark Movie Worthy!
