Very well located, definitely charming with a lot of character, practical to have the pub downstairs, nicely decorated, good price.

Traveling with my 75 years old parents, the staircases seemed steep and the doors heavy. It's an old building, with all the charm and the flaws that come with its age. The noise form the pub is inevitable, but you can request earplugs, and even noise cancelling machines apparently. The food at the pub is ok, nothing more.

The Olde Angel Inn has been our go-to for years! The rooms are comfortable, the bed is a dream, the location can't be beat, and the restaurant/bar has a great selection of food and drink. We also love that being above the bar at night means just walking down a flight of stairs to great music and a fun crowd! If you're looking for a quiet night, this likely isn't the place for you. But if you're likely to find yourself down at the bar, I couldn't recommend it more.

Would be great to have a mini fridge in the room but understand that some don't have the space for one.

Location was great -- just one street off the main shopping/restaurant and 3 min walk from the wedding venue. Wish we had had time to explore! Staff in the hotel and pub were all friendly and helpful - very welcoming. Rooms were nice, building historic.

I've never paid so much for a hotel room. Although it is in line with the prices in the neighbourhood, prices are high for the quality and services. Still - it was the going rate. For anyone who doesn't like noise, the pub under the rooms on weekends is rather a challenge if you're trying to sleep before 2am. Luckily we were both so tired that it didn't make a difference.

This is a quaint, cozy, historic inn. Our room was really cute and just as pictured on the website. The staff were really friendly. The bar downstairs was really nice. We enjoyed a meal there and stayed for the live music. We had a great evening.

The rooms are noisy, as the Inn says really clearly on the website, so this Inn is not for everyone. It is a very old building and noise travels. In our room, we could clearly hear the band downstairs and people talking outside after the bar closed. We were prepared for it and okay with it, but it's good to know. If this is not for you, they have rooms in an adjacent building which does not have noise from the bar.

The Olde Angel Inn was a very fun stay. I liked the look and feel of the historic rooms. It was very close to the heart of NOTL, so we were able to walk everywhere! Definitely a plus if you are in town for some wine tasting. The bar downstairs was very lively and it was definitely cool to just be able to walk upstairs from the pub and go to sleep.

I will say that the place is noisy, which I absolutely expected from a working bar. Luckily, I thought, we will be staying up late and drinking anyway, so who cares! There was live music and everything. My issue was actually the noise in the morning . . . pub staff loudly talking, moving around furniture, vacuuming . . . not ideal.

The location was so perfect and the facilities were really lovely. The room was so cute and the bed was firm but surprisingly comfy and I slept so well.

Check in took a while as the reception desk was closed and the bar was super busy so I felt bad bringing someone away from work - but I get why they can't keep someone on reception the whole time for only a few check ins.

The inn was very quaint with a perfect location and great history.

First I want to stress that we were told there would be a band, so the inn gave full disclosure. I would say volume wise the band noise level was similar to driving in your car with the windows down and the volume up. The band did sound great and everyone sounded like they were having a great time! I would say if you are a light sleeper and have early morning plans just keep that in mind. It was like having front row seats from the comfort of your bed! As stated the inn did plenty of warning before booking!

Location was great, walk out the front door and your right in the middle of Olde Town. Check-in was easy and they were very friendly. We stayed in the Colonel Room, bed was a king and super comfortable, toilet/shower was a little tight and the shower body was starting to go bc we had to keep fiddling with the hot and cold but that was addressed at check-out. Sitting room was nice, had enough space to lounge, good size T.V. and it's own heater. Room was clean, bed sheets very warm. A tad pricey for comparable rooms in the area but overall an excellent stay.

Accommodations were excellent in the historic building. Food was very good. Payton and Carter, who worked in the restaurant/ bar were unbelievably efficient and friendly. They handled a very large crowd alone and never missed a beat!!!!!!

The property was in the most amazing spot. Directly across from the Shaw theatre, and quick walking distance to anything else you would need for entertainment, eating, and shopping. The building itself is historical, and staff are proud to tell you about ghost stories, and lore of the Inn. The bar inside the inn is filled with locals that welcome any tourist into the establishment. The bar, and dining area feel like you are back in 1812 with its original beams, and fireplaces. It is warm, and cozy. There is weekend entertainment which attracts many people in for a fun night. After a night of listening to a band it’s amazing that you won’t have far to walk to go to your room. This IS the Hallmark Christmas inn if there ever was one.

If you are staying at the inn for a quiet evening be aware that when there is entertainment you “might” have a hard time falling asleep. It can be quite loud. Check ahead of time for band schedules.
