Perfectly situated in beautiful old town NOTL , I booked a night for my wife and I because she had a full spa day waiting for her the next day and the pillar and post which was across the street from this location . The Gentleman who greeted us and brought us to our room was very friendly and went above and beyond for us when he left us coffee and breakfast sandwiches on our doorstep in the morning absolutely free of charge as well as a few compliments of pop and water in the fridge 10/10 service would recommend to any couple looking for a cute cozy getaway

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like . Although a little harder to be intimate with your partner as it’s a house style INN lol

Location was perfect. Close enough to walk to downtown. Quiet street. Loved that the room was accessible from outside. Cute balcony with pretty flowers. Comfy bed and pillows, extra blankets and pillows were available in the closet. TV had a fire stick so we could watch Netflix. Kettle and coffee maker were available without having to ask. Milk and beverages were in the mini fridge on arrival. Room was just the right temperature and had a remote control fan on the ceiling. Shower was hot and great pressure. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was a delicious buffet at the Pillar & Post Inn, and was included in the price of our room.

The proprietor was not present upon check-in. We had to call and tell him we wanted to check in, and it took him about 15 minutes to get there and show us to the room. At first it was the wrong room but he quickly rectified this and put us in the correct room.

John, the proprietor, was friendly and eager to give me tips about the area. The check-in was seamless and he was quick to respond when I had any questions or issues. The room has a private entrance and an outdoor shared balcony with chairs and tables. The Weatherpine is close to everything and you can walk into town and most of the historic sites. Great value for the location. I especially liked that it is adult-only (or mostly).

The room was HOT. I traveled the first/second week in April. The outside temperature was cool but the room itself was hot. The bed was so large it took up most of the room. No breakfast but there was a room coffeemaker as well as a fridge.

I loved how it gave off little house on the prairie that's bed-and-breakfast in a quaint little town vibes. It felt homely and less 'formal' as a chain hotel. The host was also very nice and gave very helpful information at the beginning of my stay like directions to the local mart, how to get to the city downtown, local attractions and food recommendations. He even offered me a bike but alas I don't know how to ride one. However, I thought that was really sweet. I'll say the information he gave made my stay so much easier because I could get around town almost like a local.

I'll say I didn't like how much hair/lint I had to deal with from the carpets.

Host, John, was kind and accommodating. Rooms had all we needed except microwave-but small coffee-maker, kettle, set-ups, fridge were perfect. Very clean too! We traveled in winter, but had it been summer we’d have most definitely used our beautiful porch. Breakfast across the street was lovely, the perfect holiday experience to end our trip!!!! Exceptional. Oh…the outdoor holiday lighting and decorations were gorgeous!

No common area, as is found at many inns/B & Bs. No indoor stair access to upper rooms.

A beautiful inn in a very convenient location. Very walkable area. The room itself was nice. Shower, once functional, was strong and hot. Biggest asset, though, is the value relative to the surrounding accommodations which tend not to be cheap.

Check in was confusing and the provided instructions were more so. As a result had problems with the shower and steam shower which, while conceivably a nice feature, was hard to operate and a bit dangerous on account of the hot, hot steam jet. We received prompt attention once we ran into problems with the shower, but would have been better to have a good understanding of everything ahead of time.

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, nice big bathroom, had its own private patio with table and chairs. And you have your own dedicated parking spot. Option to have breakfast next door at the amazing (but pricey) Pillar and Post was amazing value. As was the easy access to the Pillar and Post Gardens.

Upper west-facing windows have no coverings, so the room was bright at 5:30AM - recommend sleep masks. There was no common area, no opportunity to meet other guests (could be a plus for others?).

The house looks very nice, parking was straightforward, the room was clean and spacious with adequate storage for our belongings. John was helpful and we were able to communicate with him by watsapp in case we needed anything. We went to Niagara falls which were fantastic and explored the local town and a.couple of nearby wineries on foot.

Since the ownership has changed it has gone from a B&B to more of a serviced apartment set up. John is very personable and has made an arrangement so that you can have breakfast for 20$ Per person each day across the road at the pillar and post- it was a very good breakfast and definitely worth the cost. Please note that the reviews that describe breakfast and photos showing communal areas and are related to the previous ownership and are now out of date.

The breakfast is at the Pillar and Post across the street and it was very good. I believe it is a very beneficial partnership that the properties have. The room was lovely and quiet. It was everything we needed.

I neglected to mention that I use a walker and cane to get around. The stairs to our room were a bit much to do several times a day. I have asked for main floor accommodations for our stay in September but have not received a reply from the property.

Stayed at weatherpine inn and attended a wedding at the pillar and post! The location is amazing and so close to downtown and all of the shops and restaurants! John is incredible, he was so kind and welcoming and showed us where everything was and gave us a booklet full of information and recommendations! The rooms are so cute and everything is very clean! We’ve already rebooked for a future stay, can’t wait to come back!
