carrie was a pleasant and gracious host and was very communicative and easy to reach throughout our stay. the space itself was beautiful - elegant old world interior, but with all the conveniences and amenities you would want in a modern accommodation. we loved the fire place in our room and the candle warmer in the dining room - so cozy and welcoming, especially given the winter weather when we stayed. breakfast was simple, delicious, and nourishing - the perfect way to start a day of exploring the local area.

our stay exceeded our expectations - nothing we didn't like!

WOW. This place exceeded our expectations. Carrie is wonderful. The location is fantastic. So close to town...Just a short walk. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are extremely comfortable and quiet. We have been to NOTL a handful of times, and no other place compared to this one. We will never stay anywhere else, and we certainly will be back!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BOOK THE SCHOOLHOUSE B&B. You will not be disappointed!!!

There is nothing to say here. Everything was wonderful

The owner was charming and was always there to help us and greet us. The breakfast she prepared each morning was lovely and always different. The rooms are lovely. The location is fabulous. The grounds are beautiful. There is not one thing I can say that is not complementary. Anyone staying there would be lucky to have chosen such a wonderful place.

Amazing room, in an amazing historic building, in an amazing location, with amazing service! Full of historic charm. I'd highly recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The bathroom was a little bit dated, but not a surprise in a small B&B, it's hardly even worth mentioning. It was exceptionally clean, and had everything you could need.

The location was perfect. Our room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay there again

The breakfast was only available from 9 to 10 which was much too late for us. You had to pre-book it as well which we didn't realize in time. But there was a variety of teas and cold drinks available at all times which was much appreciated

Exceeded our expectations in every way! The loft room we stayed in was amazing and super clean. Breakfast in the morning was both innovative and delicious. The property has an interesting history and retains just enough of its previous life. Location is excellent and central to everything!

We managed to stay for a single night but I notice that they often have a 2–night minimum stay.

We loved the breakfasts. The room was wonderful. The service was great. We enjoyed the location as it was close to the downtown. We will certainly consider this in the future when going to Niagara on the lake. It was a joy to be there.

Everything was wonderful. We had a little challenge getting the TV to work some channels. But other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

The location was amazing. Just steps from town but in a nice quiet side street. The building itself was incredible. Our room was in the second floor and perfectly appointed for our stay. The bottle of water in the fridge was a very nice touch. Carrie was so lovely and breakfast was incredible.

Location was excellent in a beautiful historic old school house with fabulous individual features making it such a memorable stay. The breakfast was wonderful served like an afternoon tea. We could make breakfast the first morning so a breakfast was packed for us to take out which was so kind. Would highly recommend.. the hosts are lovely.

Lovely facility. Full of charm and character. The host was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. The room very spacious and spotless. Located very close (easy walking distance) to the quaint shops and restaurants in the central district of NOTL, yet on a quiet side street. We fully enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
