We needed a base to travel all over Prince Edward Island and Cairns Motel at Summerside fit the bill. The safe, quiet environment and comfortable beds ensured restful nights and allowed us to resume our daily trips feeling refreshed. Our room was super clean! Facilities maintenance is first-rate. Convenient parking at our doorstep made loading and unloading easy. Great location and close to restaurants. Overall an excellent place at a very affordable rate! Thank you, Kendra and Aaron, for providing us with wonderful accommodations.

Proximity to restaurants and Summerside was a great central location to explore the island on day-trips. Rooms were nice (if not a bit old in the bathroom), and the beds were very comfortable. Laundry was also available via coin-operated machines, which we thought was fantastic.

If I were to nitpick, I would say they need to update the bathrooms a bit. The tile work in our room was looking a bit beat up.

Beautiful grounds, the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and the owners are very welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful! If you’re looking for a reasonable price, you can’t go wrong here.

The only thing I would have added was a little night stand ( could even just be a small floating shelf) on the left side of the bed. There was a nightstand on the other side. Other than that, we were extremely satisfied!

Great location, clean, quiet, friendly staff.

Only issue was with a slight odour in the room which we assumed came from damp carpet. Difficult to avoid damp carpet as we arrived in a torrential rain storm and impossible not to make the carpet at entrance to room damp. Humidity would make it impossible to dry so really no fault of the motel here at all!

It was one of the cleanest places we have stayed at in years,water fountain and flower beds were beautiful. We highly reccomend this place.the rooms are big enough that you don't feel crowded, especially with a king sized bed. We will be back for sure.

Not long enough stay. Would have been better if it had been vacation instead of work!

The rooms were newly refinished and very clean. There was a bar fridge we could use and we really like that we could park right at the front door of our room. The location is close to restaurants on the water and central to the areas we visited. We will definitely return and stay here again.

Comfortable bed, extremely clean, well kept up, good shower, nice decor

Bathroom was tiny. Both sides of the bed need a place to rest glasses and an outlet to charger phones. Only one side had one

Kendra and all staff very helpful and friendly. Beds were so comfortable and room was spotless. Highly recommend this place.

Such a beautiful spot, conveniently located. Well-maintained property, with exceptionally friendly staff. The owners were fantastic to deal with and they were never far, if they needed to be reached. I will definitely be staying here again!
