We stayed in summerside to facilitate visiting 3 attractions. We had two good dinners at 2 brothers restauants that is 100 yards from the Sunflower. The anne of green gables house (actually montgomery's uncle) in park corner. It was ineteresting and a nice short trail showing off the fall foliage. The potato museum and museum on history of oleary were wonderful insights into last 300 years. The iron lung brought home the folly of anti-vaxers while the role of unversities and research stations in averting further potato famines was clear. The acadian museum in miscouche showed the perseverence of a persecuted culture.

While the room was as expected, i had to call booking.com to check in. There was a person on site but she respond to doorbell or phone call. We ran out of toilet paper and were rescued by a permanent tenant. Come in summer. Out of season many attractions and restaurants close. I will click met expectations. An email from the property said there was an attachment with arrival instruction. There was no attachment. This room was 2/3 the price of any other room on the trip. I suspected this would mean limited support. The room itself was as expected I am struggling for the second review in a row with being a

The room was lovely - comfortable bed, with fridge, coffee maker, cups and cutlery. Two windows making it bright and sunny.

Maybe a lamp on the desk, rather than two at the bed? As the desk (in room 101) is not near the bed, it was very hard to see what I was doing at night, with only the light from my computer screen. A table lamp would have helped. Also, a waste paper basked in the room would be a good idea. The sanitary bin in the bathroom was the only waste basket.

Clean, good location, friendly and helpful host. The host was interested in making our stay enjoyable. There were extras in the fridge to make toast coffee tea. It is a great location to see the local sites.Bed was good and the veranda was nice to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.

A little noisy one evening as you could hear guests moving around in the hallway. ( we were on the main floor). The host initiated a conversation about noise the next morning and offered to give us a different room. It was not that big of a deal and was perfectly quiet by 10 pm which is reasonable. We kept the same room and it was very quiet the next night. If you are a large person the bathroom is quite small. Nit picky things really.

Beautiful room, nice sized bathroom. The fellow we dealt with was very friendly. No coffeemaker, as was advertised. Doors open onto wrap wrap-around verandah Spacious room Charming! On a main street but noise didn't bother us. Bed was comfy.

Confusing about where to check in, because it’s an old house. Would be nice to have 2 chairs at the card table and/or 2 armchairs, instead of the one of each that was provided No hair conditioner, just shampoo Can hear people walking, and dropping things, upstairs. But it didn't bother us as we slept. It said breakfast was included, but we couldn't find it. There was a fridge, and a table in the hall with a toaster on it. Not much besides water in the fridge. No bread for the toaster.

The location was good. And David was friendly and very helpful - he gave me a room on the ground floor when I told him I had heavy bags and he was good at responding to any other requests I had. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Having access to tea and coffee and breakfast items (including bread, cereal and boiled eggs) - and a fridge in which we could store our own food - were also a bonus .

They were still waiting for the heat pumps to be connected while I was there, so the room was a bit chilly at night. But David quickly supplied me with an extra blanket and a heater which made me much more comfortable. The breakfast area could be improved with more room for preparation of toast and beverages - and more clarity about what to do with dirty dishes (eg, a place to leave them once we've finished with them).

We were doing the Island Walk so the location was great for our needs. The owners are very pleasant and accommodative, the building is old with a lot of charm.

Nothing serious, however restaurants are scarce, but this is an issue on PEI particularly in the shoulder seasons. We did find a fantastic crape place though that was amazing.

A beautiful old house newly renovated by the owners. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was new - all spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities available. Walking distance to Summerside centre, on a main road but it was very quiet at night. Mary was lovely, she made us feel very welcome, she was very efficient and helpful - would unreservedly recommend.

I expected they would change linens at least every other day. Also no sitting room at the coffee

Even though it’s situated on a busy street corner, I found the accommodations very quiet and comfortable. The other guests were quiet very well maintained and very clean.

I would’ve preferred to have opened the window to have actual fresh air; instead it was air conditioning in the room.

This is such a beautiful guest house. Everything is so new and modern and extremely clean. The beds were super comfortable and all the facilities were just great. The host David was always available to help when needed and he went above and beyond what would normally be expected to make our stay pleasant and restful. Sunflower was easy to get to and a great location from which to explore the surrounding area.. We would definitely stay here again.
