I received a warm welcome from management when I arrived. Unfortunately the fridge wasn't working and it was replaced within minutes with a new one. We used a barbeque on the property, and it was exceptionally clean. The suite was immaculate and had all the items needed to use the kitchen facility. The pool water was crystal clear clean with lovely loungers. Unfortunately, I left my dog's food and water bowls there after checking out and after a call to the motel, they found them, took a photo, and will keep them until I can return. The management went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

The air conditioning didn't seem strong enough, but one needs to keep in mind that during the time, PEI was undergoing a heat wave. The wooden steps at the entrance to the suite need to be replaced because the lovely inside is so much lovelier than the steps into it.

This property was great. It was in the heart of Cavendish so close to everything. You could walk to sandspit you could walk to the grocery store or the liquor store and there was a delicious restaurant right next-door as well. Inside was spacious, clean and we had access to the "backyard" from inside our room. Plus there was a BBQ outside and a back porch. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had lots of towels and face cloths, the kitchen had utensils and dishes for us to use. It was great.

There's nothing I didn't like. If I was going to be critical I would say it would look even nicer and less outdated with new fresh paint and new floors throughout but it's not necessary to enjoy the stay. I prefer keeping the price low and I will note the beds were clearly new mattresses. They were nice and comfortable.

The motel was in an amazing location, a few minutes' drive from the Anne of Green Gables home, museum, the Haunted Woods Trail, and the burial site of the author Lucy Maud Montgomery. There was a great restaurant right next door where we had dinner, and there is a Tim's just up the road (pick-up only); however, you can sit down and eat right next door in Montgomery Park. Parking at the motel was right outside your room door. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. I was late for check-in as I was driving up from Toronto. However, the manager was kind enough to leave our room unlocked with the keys inside, and even checked to see what place would be open for us to eat, in case we were late, as everything closes a little bit earlier. I would stay here again.

The motel is showing its age, and it needs to start renovating soon, as multiple motels are now opening up in the same area, and with the competition, it will be left behind.

The location is excellent, close to anything important (for us, at least), the atmosphere is very nice, the yard is big and the pool is nice, too. The staff is nice, but pretty slow. We stayed there two years ago, too, and a big plus now was that they changed the stove, and they added streaming services on the TV, a really nice touch.

A minus was that they don't serve coffee in the office anymore, even though they say so in the presentation you find in the room. The smell in the room is strange but pretty usual for a motel, I guess. So, little things, nothing major...

This property was very close to all the family adventure spots and restaurants. Minutes from the beach and only 30 minutes from Charlottetown. The room itself had a bedroom that was great for the family dynamics. It was nice to have the door open to the back patio. It was roomy for 6 with a nice sized fridge , table and chairs, and access to a patio grill.

The pool picture on Booking did not look the same as it was on the property. It was approx 80-100 feet from the back door of the room. The picture showed the pool attached to a building but in reality it was a separate feature at the top of the lawn. It was something we wanted to be part of the stay and it appears to be closer than it is. The kids still went in, but the parents did not like the look of it.

The room was very clean and cozy. Ideal location if wanting to tour around Cavendish. And central to other areas of the province. Staff were amazing, kind and helpful. We were late getting to the motel and they were able to give us access to our room even though we missed check-in hours. The pool was clean and warm. This was a perfect motel for us and our dog. Air conditioning was a blessing. Thank you.

The stove and fridge was small and a bit dated. We did use the fridge and it kept everything very cold. We did not use the stove but I suspect that it did work as well.

The rooms was a great size and everything was clean. The staff were friendly and the pool was nice. It was within walking distance to major cavendish attractions for our kids and was pet-friendly. The grounds were big and great for our dog and kids to run around and play during down time.

The kitchen was nice and had some appliances and equipment but adding a few bowls and some non-perishable condiments would have been great (salt, pepper, sugar packets)…things you don’t bring with you but also don’t want to buy a large qty of for just a few days stay.

The place was close to the house of Green Gables and many beaches. It was clean and nice.

However, the hotel is old and when we arrived our key couldn't close the door so I was forced to stay inside instead of going to a dinner. There is no phone in a room and my phone didn't work. I sent an email but I got a reply next morning how to operate the door:( The owner lives on the property but there is no doorbell...

Close to all attractions and stores just 5 minutes to everything . Lots of great food options but may have to make reservations at suppertime.

The room climate central air conditioning was great to escape the afternoon heat.

Room was great! Had everything we needed. They even brought fresh towels on the second day. Location was amazing. Walking distance to Shining Waters Park and Sandspit, grocery/liquor store. Very close to many other attractions.

Our air conditioner worked great the first night but couldn't get it to blow cold air the second day we stayed. It was diffucult to sleep due to the heat even when we tried opening the windows to circulate the air.
