I would highly recommend this motel, my wife and I have actually already recommended it to our neighbours. The washroom was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The room as a whole was very neat, clean and smelled nice. The staff along with the cleaning crew was very helpful and wasn't hesitate to talk and listen. We enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful grounds and weather with our furbaby. We will definitely be booking here the next time we take a spur of the moment trip to the Island.

The Sunnyside Inn must get its name from the warm and sunny disposition of the fellow who runs it-- friendly but not obtrusive, answered all our questions. You can see he genuinely cares about the place. From the outside it may look a bit outdated but INSIDE it is sparkling clean, and the bathrooms have more new gadgets than any modern hotel I've seen. The room was a nice size, with two queen size beds and a small fridge. There's even a little porch or deck out back, through which I watched a gentle, rosy sunrise. Full marks for this one!

Sunny Isle Motel is located on a main road just outside the harbourfront area. Check-in is at the Cairns Motel just across the street. Big box stores/groceries are only a few kilometres away. The famous Starlight Diner is literally down the street. The motel owners are super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed. The grounds are well manicured and the gazebo is very inviting with plenty of seating. There is also a laundy room with coin operated machines which we took advantage of during our 3 night stay. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay

The entrance of the motel driveway has several large potholes which should be filled. Everything else was great.

Absolutely a home away from home. It was so nice to come back to this place every evening. With the parking directly infront your door, comfy clean room and stunning property where you can see the ocean and enjoy a lunch or coffee on a picnic table. It was quiet and facilities functional. Super close to town and great customer service.

There’s no breakfast which is to be expected so not that disappointing.

Clean, comfy bed, small fridge, nice bright bathroom, hairdryer, lots of towels. Great air conditioner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to get our room early.

I wish there was another mirror besides one in bathroom. Maybe above desk in main room. It also advertised Keurig coffeemaker in room so we brought coffee pods but it was just a coffee maker. Tim Hortons was a short drive away so it was ok

We liked this motel. It was small, in that it only has 25 or so rooms, it was one story and most of the rooms were away from the street though there are a few that face. It has a green / park like space which adds to the quietness. The room was newly and tastefully renovated and they had coin operated laundry which we used as we travel light being on a motorcycle. The exterior looks older but don’t judge this motel by its cover. It was great value. We liked that we park right outside of our room and it was only one floor so no one above to make noise. We would stay again.

Most everything! It was the perfect motel with a great location. The grounds are beautiful especially since we had the last room with the deck. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Only issue is the shower curtain smelled like mildew. But we find this with most motels/hotels with shower curtains. They don't dry out fast enough.

The location is truly beautiful, with peaceful surroundings —perfect for a relaxing getaway. The environment is quiet and close to nature. However, there were a few mosquitoes, especially in the evening, so insect repellent is recommended. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to those who enjoy nature and don’t mind a bit of the outdoors.

This place utterly surprised us , very impressed with cleanliness, updated room , granite counter top super and comfy mattress. The cherry on top was make up removal wipe for ladies my wife appreciated! I can’t compliment enough how serious this owner is about their business. Kudos to you ! The spoiler was a moose made out of the white towels on our bed ! When I come back to PEI I will head to the same establishment.Higly recommended this motel !

Just an average looking motel from the outside but the room was updated, really clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and it was really quiet. Location was only a short drive from shopping and the boardwalk by the ocean. Only negatives were that one bed was a little uncomfortable and the toilet sounded like a car doing a loud burn out when you flushed.. really it did! Overall, we had a great stay at the sunny isle motel.

One uncomfortable mattress Loud flushing toilet. Rates were a bit pricey $425 for 2 nights. But that is the new "normal" I guess for peak tourist season.
