Love the detached cottages, playground for the kids and the pool! The location cannot be beat, it's so calming and beautiful. I cannot say enough about the pool! We also loved the amount of wildlife that ran through! Foxes, rabbits, many different birds!

Wifi connection was poor for both cottages we had. one cottage's television did not work (only the kids were upset lol). unfortunately the fire pit at our end was roped off on our second night through to our last night, so we were unable to have a bonfire but again, only the kids were upset. We didn't see that you had to request sheets for the pull outs until we were leaving (our fault).

It was a great location. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, very close to the beach, close to other amenities too for sightseeing. The beds were extremely comfortable. I don’t know about the pillows because I brought my own. There was a gas grill which looked to be clean, a picnic table, chairs all on a nice size deck. The pool was nice. We didn’t use it because it was a bad weather the first two days and we were gone on that last day. Nice place if you have little kids.

The only really complaint is the couch is in abysmal shape. Extremely uncomfortable to sit on which luckily we didn’t do too much because we were out a lot. While you’re sitting, you felt like you were sliding off of it, and you were sitting on the frame!

We ended up in the newer cottages (#18)....they were very modern, clean, flat screen tv, dvd player, big decks, patio furniture, utensils and dishes, new washer/dryer in unit, lots of bedding, new towels etc everyday, pool was clean and warm, and the deck around the pool was concrete and new pressure treated wood. Was a nice spot close to all cavendish venues and parks.

The staff were friendly and kind......but the language barrier was an issue at some points. Unfortunately we ended up with a very racist set of families next to us in cabin 19 who ruined part of our vacation. When we mentioned to the lady at front desk, she did not seem to understand in the least.....just kept nodding and smiling and saying "take care"....... also, the two little play parks were very minimal and not well cared for, sandbox had broken toys etc....

It was the most beautiful, peaceful place we have ever stayed at. It was beyond my expectations. We were welcomed to a two bedroom cottage equipped with everything from a full kitchen with a dining table, dishes toaster coffee maker even a dishwasher but soap and sponge too! Fresh linens hung outside to dry. Heated pool, and the best mid September weather ever for enjoying the huge deck with BBQ that was perfect for that late afternoon local craft brew. It was to perfect made us not want to leave. Also, we now need to save all of our pennies so we can return. We’re going to now need to bring our grandson but he might not like it here!!! It was a 2 minute walk from our cottage to the pool. Not sure a 9 year old can handle a hike past the kids sand pit around the volleyball net, look at the swing set open the gate and jump in the pool all in the same day.

We liked the location. The amenities like pool and bbq grill made the experience excellent. The cottage is great.

The internet connection. We have to use our own data for most of our stay because we could not get a good connection. The tv remote are not working. Only 1 aircon for the whole cottage, we have to keep the bedroom door open to cool the room. There should be at least a fan inside the rooms.

Very clean, comfortable met all our expectations and requirements. Needed to have some explanation as to how to access TV channels for daily news forecasts etc. Okay to tune into Netflix, but general use of remotes.

No further explanations as we were very satisfied with the facilities and location fitted our needs.

No breakfast, but excellent location. Close to Cavendish, but far enough from the main road so that you felt like you were in a cottage in the countryside. Nice warm clean pool. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to spend the night or a week or two

The cottage was spacious and clean. Plenty of towels and nicely equipped kitchen and outdoor grill area. We had a problem with the front door lock and the cottage manager came right over and replaced the lock at 9 pm. Great service.

Nothing to complain about.

Fairly close to everything, newer, full kitchen, shower/tub combo, washer & dryer in cabin. (Cabin 19) very convenient and great for a family. We had everything we needed, bring coffee filters and laundry detergent!

The bedding could be better but we all slept great anyway and it was very clean and comfortable. The communal fire pit wasn’t really our thing, having individual ones for each cabin might be nice but not a deal breaker by any means.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The cottage was huge and we were grateful that everything was supplied for our use, kitchen towel, tin foil, toilet paper, toiletries etc. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the property was well maintained and clean. The on site laundry was a great bonus too.
