Owners are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious (multiple choices). We had a private balcony which was a nice touch. Our stay was short but we enjoyed this charming bed and breakfast, owners kept the authenticity and have a huge amount of respect for its origin. Would definitely recommend.

I gave it a 9 as I think there's always space for improvement. Small thing, adding a few water bottles in the fridge would be wonderful. No complaints, this place is excellent!

Best French toast we have ever eaten, it was absolutely delicious! To die for, wonderful start to the day! On another morning the omelette & trimmings was also fabulous.

Nothing, breakfast was excellent, room was cozy, internet great. Best of all was the terrific host, very helpful & sweet. The only thing I could think of not to my complete comfort level was mattress was a bit on the firm side for me but still slept fine.

Angie and Greg were fabulous hosts. This place exceeded our expectations. Greg was welcoming right off the get go, gave us a tour of the house and a bit of its history. Showed us to our room and told us to make ourselves at home. Gave us recommendations for dinner and things to do around the area. Shared some great travel stories with Angie and Greg in the evening and enjoyed some delicious cheese. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! And the breakfast host was extremely enjoyable with all of his stories. Was a great place to rest and relax and meet other traveller's. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone

The home is beautiful! We were greeted right away by one of the owners who told us a bit about the history of the house. He was super kind. Our room was spacious and clean. The rooms were really quiet, so even though all the rooms were taken, you wouldn't have known it. The breakfast is complementary and you can request what you want from quite a few selections and they accommodate for any dietary needs. The couple were very friendly and gave us a lot of information about restaurants around the area and popular sites to see on the island. They were exceptional!

A part of the deck outside was blocked off due to renovations, so we look forward to going again in the future when we are able to see that part of the house up and running. We can imagine how beautiful it will be!

We were greeted by Greg. He was very welcoming and showed us around the Inn, helped us with our bags and provided recommendations for where to eat. The room was nicely decorated in period furniture and the bed was amazing. The breakfast was so amazing, we had the breakfast parfait and the pancakes... sooo yummy! We travelled with our dog and she was also warmly welcomed by all staff. I highly recommend this accommodation. I moved to PEI and know that I would be welcomed back to pop in to say hello to Greg and Angie anytime...and I will be doing so!

Everything was perfect

The Home Place Inn provided me and my wife with superior service for an unbelievably excellent price. The location was great; It is nestled in Kensington which is central to the island of PEI. Moreover, the food was absolutely amazing! You have many options to choose from for breakfast, and all of them were superb and delightfully plated with substantial portions that filled my wife and I till supper. Bonus: the sweet and savoury aromas of Angie and Lynn in the kitchen waft into the rooms making it far easy to roll out of the comfortable beds. The owners (Greg and Angie) are the sweetest people you will ever meet and will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. They also gave us excellent suggestions on where to eat and what to see on the island. The rooms were clean, comfortable and elegantly designed to portray the rich history of the house, but elevated the experience with gentle modern twists like a jacuzzi and mini fridge! We loved our time at the Home Place Inn and hope one day we find ourselves back there. Thank you Greg and Angie for an unforgettable time!

There was nothing we didn’t like — It literally couldn’t have been any better!

Everything was phenomenal. Greg and his family were incredibly welcoming, the house was beautiful, breakfast was fantastic and our room was spacious with a clean bathroom.

Not so much a dislike but we tried to make the trip a working vacation and the wifi wasn't the best for video calls. It was more than fast enough for regular usage.

Lovely hosts who told us a lot about the history behind the house, very clean throughout and the breakfast was super.

The bathroom although really big and had a lovely jacuzzi bath had the toilet squashed in between the wall and sink unit. For anyone on the larger side it was difficult to use and my husband, who is slim found it quite tight.

Absolutely everything! Greg, Lynn and Todd all went above and beyond with everything! The room was stunning, the jacuzzi was perfectly decadent, the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. They offered amazing local tips and the location in Kensington is the perfect base to explore the island. We came to PEI for our wedding anniversary, and our stay with Greg and the team at Home Place Inn was the highlight of the trip.

I wish we'd booked more nights!

The Inn is an historic building, the room was nicely decorated with a large, comfortable four poster bed. Room and bathroom were spotless. Several options for breakfast, tried 3 and all were delicious and gluten-free as I require. ur hosts, Angie and Greg are friendly and always available. Met other interesting, friendly guests.

Would be nice to have a small table/desk to set up the laptop. Air conditioning could be a little better.
