I had stayed at this property a few months ago, and decided that it would be an ideal venue to rent a meeting room for a couple of days for new recruits' training purposes.

Unfortunately, the person in charge of coordinating the meeting-room facilities as well as writing the rental-contract was not a good business person. While she did quote "coffee & croissants" service at excessive prices (which we declined), only once the contract was offered for signing, was there wording in the document to the effect that meeting participants are not permitted to bring coffee or food in from the outside! (essentially meaning that a 'working lunch' was out of question, since the Hotel's restaurant would only open at 5pm)...getting that type of information one day before the start of the training-session precluded me to seek alternate arrangements. This 'faux pas' by the event-coordinator may cost the Grand_Times_Hotel future business

I had previously stayed at their (presumably, sister-facilitiy) in Drummondville, where I was not entirely satisfied, and didn't know what to expect at the Centropolis Grand Times of Laval....but, these apprehensions were quickly eliminated as soon as I received my access-card & parking voucher. The underground-parking, accessible only with a garage-door scannable pass, is fully secured to the point that even the elevator requires a room-card to close the doors! (Parking-fee is C$12.75 per 24-hours periods, based on the first "time-in"). There are many restaurants within walking distance, and some more by car/Uber or cab. All good for those who stil enjoy that type of eating out. But food can also be delivered.....the driver must simply acquire an elevator access-card at Reception. The room is pleasantly furnished....the view out of the floor-2-ceiling windows is great to enjoy a beautiful sun(rise) or sun(set). My Kingsize bed was mighty comfortable, with sufficient pillows, large bathroom with walk-in shower, and a workable desk with sufficient electrical receptacles conveniently located. Overall a great stay for two nights.....I'll return to serve my customers nearby.

The room is spacious, the reception is ample with many small seating areas to have meetings. The gym is very well equipped. The pool is for leisure, but OK. If you must stay in Laval, is a good location next to walkable area with many restaurants and brasseries.

The breakfast is so-so—typical low-cost U.S.-chain breakfast, with supermarket bread, canned fruit, processed cheese.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Centropolis, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options nearby. It was very convenient to explore the area. The hotel's modern design and decor created a sleek and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby and common areas were stylish and inviting. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night's rest. The staff was friendly and professional, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient

While the overall experience was positive, the breakfast selection could be improved with more variety. It was somewhat limited, especially for those looking for healthier options.

Overall, the hotel is quite good. We found a good offer at Booking, which made us change our initial reservation. As we had a car, it was easy to reach and park outside at no cost. If you don't have a car, it takes time to reach and there is no direct metro. The room was great, large, clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool. Wifi worked well. There are two supermarkets outside and you have a microwave in the lobby.

The room we booked said in the description that it had a microwave, but it does not. This was solved by using the microwave in the lobby. Our room had the AC remote malfunctioning, and we were unable to shut it down. We had to ask every day at the reception to do it. Not all the staff members could do it immediately. This was a particular thing in our room, I hope it gets fixed soon. Despite this issue, I still recommend the hotel. Finally, it would be nice if breakfast could be booked also in Booking.

The staff was exceptional. They were very professional and courteous. We were in town for a hockey tournament and most of us only spoke English and we were happy to have staff members that spoke both English and French which made our conversations with staff members very easy. Rooms were clean and big enough to accommodate us. The location was perfect as it was close to restaurants and stores for us to visit.

Parking lot was a little small but had an underground garage for people to be able to park but you had to pay even if you were staying. I thought parking would be included with your stay but it wasn’t a big deal as we always found parking in the lot that only fit about 30 cars.

Location was good with practical access to highway 15, shopping and restaurants. Great water pressure in the shower.

Noise from the main road was disturbing even from the 7th floor (facing east). No batteries in the TV remote.

The staff was so friendly and helpful I love that there was an underground parking I loved the location there is absolutely nothing negative I can say about displace

I love everything about this place there’s nothing negative I can say about it and this is a first for me usually there’s always a little something that could be improved but now nothing at all

Very nice hotel and facilities, very bright, the white light in the room was very strong. Breakfast was okay and not worth paying. For the price I would expect things like lotion, shower cap, some other things like that. Overall it was great, just pricey.
