Proximity to friends house we were visiting with . Beautiful decor , comfortable beds , kind staff, amazing breakfast !

The room we had initially had an odor ( not sure if carpets or the ac/ heater unit ?) but the gentleman at front desk helped us immediately with the issue. The bathroom in the room we stayed had slotted panels ( that open and close only from outside )on the glass outside the shower which faces in the living room. It’s a little unsettling while using the washroom to know those could be open at any moment ( if you’re with someone who is a jokester lol) .

We enjoyed the food options at breakfast, and having it in the garden added to the charm. The location is great if you are travelling by car. If you are using public transit, it is also ok as long as you are prepared to spend extra time waiting for the bus or do the 20-minute walk from the subway station.

On weekends, they don't start serving breakfast until 7:30 am, which may not fit everyone's plans. Separately, I was a little disappointed by the lack of daylight blocking, which is usually done well in hotels. They do have a small blackout curtain, but it is not used efficiently, as you can see in the photo.

I loved the location, and the property to self. At a walking distance from l restaurants and stores. Beautiful lobby and big luxurious rooms. The breakfast was exceptional. From simple American breakfast to sophisticated French pastry

I would not put in the property’s description that they have a pool and hot tub. There is NO pool and a very tiny hot tub. In addition the so named “ pool” is right in the patio where people enjoy their drinks. It is not very pleasant and comfortable to swim or watch other swim. It was misleading in the hotel’s description. If we knew it - we most probably made another choice if the hotel. We were specifically looking for hotels with a pool.

Great, fantastic hotel, comfortable and cozy, extremely well maintained, nice and polite staff, rooms were clean and spacious, well insulated (very few to none noise around), great beds, perfect Wifi, plenty of parking spots and, saving the best for last, a memorable, hard to forget, breakfast, combining fine French cuisine refinment with rough and consistent American style. Fantastic value for money, needless to say more..

Didn't like is too much to say, but it's worth to be mentioned that location is more "industrial" than "commercial", lots of businesses around, not so much real live..

Very comfortable. Loved the beds. Front desk, breakfast, housekeeping and bar staff were all super pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful- loved the huge bowl of fresh cut up fruit. The buffet was replenished regularly.

The breakfast, although absolutely wonderful was served in a very small room. It was hard to move around and navigate the breakfast buffet. I understand that this is a big hotel and there will be a lot of people at breakfast, but it would have been nice to have the space to enjoy the lovely food.

The staff were very accommodating. The desk person during the day was nice enough to check us in when we arrived early. We had an issue with the first room being too warm and the AC not sufficiently cooling it, and the night desk person was able to get us another room that was much cooler. The breakfast was also the best one we had during our trip. The croissants were amazing!! And the hotel had easy access to the metro and downtown Montreal.

The AC unit in the first room looked a bit old, which may be why it didn’t seem to cool it down. It suggests the hotel might want to update the systems in all of the rooms.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was a little dated but quaint and clean. Breakfast was outstanding!! There was so much food and variety, along with a carefully attended buffet. I would definitely book this hotel for a return trip. It would have been nicer if the bar had been open on the weekend for a light supper after a long day out, as there is no restaurant on site.

More on site options for lunch & dinner. Bar was closed on weekend so no light meals were available.

Room service knocked on everyone's door between 9:30-10 to see if they had left, and despite yelling no I do not need room service they did not hear me and proceeded to open the door -luckily I had my robe on! That could be uncomfortable if someone was undressed or showering, getting ready to leave! They should be notified to not do so until closer to check out time at 11!

Bed is very comfortable, shower is hot and strong, bathroom and room are very clean and well maintained. Wifi is very good, breakfast is very good, as is the free parking. Had a good price too

Minor issue with the floor level change on level 1 requiring the need to carry bags up and down half a flight of stairs. Also, hit my shin on the bed frame corners a few times (best if there's a luminous bumper on the corners)
