Liked the speedy check in and check out. I liked that the drinkware was actually glass instead of plastic. To clarify the facility didn't meet my expectations, I liked that the hotel had lots of signage indicating that they recognize outdated materials and that they are undergoing renovations.

The bathroom lighting was far too dark. I couldn't find a tv guide channel to find what was on tv

I have been staying at the sandman for the last 2-3 years when my husband flies home from work. This hotel has also been one of our favorites. The staff are amazing and willing to help. It's also very close to the airport which is very convenient

The only thing we didn't like is the hotel no longer takes deposits and requires a credit card. I understand the reasoning behind it. It just means I will no longer be staying there as I choose not to get a credit card

We arrived at 1:30 am after struggling with a different hotel booking. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. He tried to help with our struggle with the other hotel and even printed a map off for us. He offered us a room with the sandman hotel and we were very happy to take it after such a long drive. The room was very comfortable and clean and it was a pleasure to stay with them. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Easy to get to. Nice hotel. Our stay was good. The front desk person came right up when I found a light bulb burnt out in the bathroom.

Little bit of the people hang around the front of the hotel made my wife uncomfortable. I wish that if the pool is shut down for maintenance that they would let me know this when booking. It was kind of a disappointment to have no pool or hot tub when we got there.

I booked this hotel because it was right off Circle Drive and second right turn off of hywy 16, which is where our guests were entering the city from. The location was ideal, plus it offered the best deal on Booking.com. I was able to look around, and the room, lobby, and hallway were clean, plus roomy for my wheelchair and husband to walk beside me. The door entrance to the hotel was automatic, which led you to the lobby and the front, which immediately to your right. The counter was high, so I had to move back to see the check-in clerk but doable. The staff and security were accommodating, considering we were not the actual guests but waiting for our friends. Overall, great service and facilities. Also have to mention right next door to Dennys.

Did not stay at the venue, but our guests enjoyed it that we got them a room the next night.

We stayed at the Sandman when in town for a concert. Excellent location, easy to get out of the city as right on the main drag. The shark club which is attached to the hotel organizes a bus to and from Concerts held at sasktel center for $8/person. We will stay stay at the Sandman anytime we have concerts in the city for sure as the bus was a huge bonus! The beds and bedding were so comfortable and the staff were excellent!

Offered an upgrade to accommodate mobility issues. Appreciated the proximity of a nearby restaurant allowing for lower rates instead of a mediocre "free" continental breakfast.

Bathroom could be improved with better lighting for shaving/make-up and grab-bars in the shower/bathtub. Driveway entrance off side-street was a bit confusing.

Friendly staff, we had to wait for our guests to arrive in the lounge, and the front desk was helpful in the check-in process. I didn't stay, but our guests enjoyed the accommodations, which was quiet, considering its location right off Circle Drive..

The entrance driveway was a bit awkward but doable. Once inside the building, you can see the back entrance directly across from the front entrance, which I like, especially the sliding doors, making it very accessible for a person in a motorized 👩‍🦼

We stayed due to a family medical and needed to extend our stay. The front desk staff accommodated us by letting us remain in our room which was so appreciated during a stressful time. The St. Paddy’s treats set out in the lobby for guests was a nice touch - thank you!

Upper management were very accomodating, after finding my unanswered emails in the system. In addition, they allowed me to place frozen food items into their personal staff freezer! MUCHLY APPRECIATED.

Hotel guests in the room above us children, were jumping off of the chairs/beds/tables and running around, for 3 consecutive hours. As a senior with cancer, I need my rest! However, I have no problems with my hearing!
