The room is very big compared to others in Santiago. The view is amazing. Very clean, great breakfast ( book ahead, way more expensive later). Very comfortable beds. Restaurant and room service are great - it works when you have a tired child in the end of the day. The park/mall are 10 minutes away walking ( great playground in Parque Araucano + skating rink).

There aren't many things around the hotel even though it's a great neighborhood. Metro is a bit far ( when with a child). I didn't book the breakfast ahead and no staff member told me to request it when I arrived (that'd be cheaper that paying per day). I ended up spending way more.

The atmosphere, overall feel of the hotel was orderly, clean, well maintained.

One of the lifts was being maintained for the entire duration of our stay making the waiting times rather lengthy particularly at peak times. Breakfast was fine, with the exception of the cooked offering. Really, scrambled eggs and small hotdog style sausages is rather dated for a modern hotel trying to be "upmarket", I expected something a bit more inventive from the kitchen. The bed gave both of us morning backaches, it felt as if the mattress was a bit worn out.

The location and accessibility was great. The room was spacious for a family.

Our booking was last minute. After a 36h journey We just needed a clean and safe place to crash for a day before our next flight.. it seemed unfair that we were charged a significant fee for checking in early. With two kids one just says yes. Also the restaurant would not have us charge anything to the room. So one had to go back to the room to get ones credit cards. Something am just not used to.

Spacious apartment, nice and comfortable bed, in a calm, quiet and safe neighborhood.

Shower glass door doesn’t work properly, and the floor was soaking wet after a shower. Other annoying issue was that we booked our stay with breakfast, but every morning we were wrongfully alerted that breakfast wasn’t included, and had to pull up Booking.com reservation to prove.

The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast buffet is huge, with lots of variety, and the fruit was fresh and delicious. The receptionist who welcomed us as early arrivals was very helpful in locating a more quiet location to rest until our room was ready. Thank you.

The hotel was a little distance away from the only attraction in the area, being Arauco Mall and so was the hop on, hop off bus stop. But at least we got some excercise. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good with a wide assortment.

The distance to the mall and bus stop were a problem, due to the warm temperatures of almost 30°C. As for the hotel, there was nothing to dislike, it lived up to the Novotel name.

Big room, with a nice view. Breakfast is well served with plenty of option. You can order additional eggs from the kitchen, although they don't tell you. This communication should be improved. Staff is friendly.

They gym is very poor, with no weights and no equipment. Very small room with no equipment for people to train.

The breakfast, size of the rooms, the location and housekeeping were the best things about this property. Some of the staff were great as well. Having a playground right next to the hotel and 2 big malls and several restaurants in a 3 block radius of the hotel was amazing for convenience.

The facilities were not great. The pool is outside and not usable during colder months and the gym was closed for renovations. Other than the small front area which is very noisy during the day, the hotel does not have quiet areas to hang out or work.

Location was great, 15 minutes walk to a park and a shopping plaza. Neighbourhood was safe. Buffet breakfast had enough varieties. Our triple room with two queen beds was spacious and nicely laid out. Our flight was delayed for one day and we were given the same room to stay an extra night. Check out was noon but they let us stay until 3pm with no extra charge. Our flight was at 11 pm and this greatly helped us and was quite a bonus.

Good variety with breakfast. Fresh fruit every day. The view from our room on the 18th floor was exceptional. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is bar none, very safe area, close to shopping, restaurants, public transportation. Outdoor pool area is also great for the kids.

The AC takes a long time to kick-in.
