Paco is a local chain hotel, this one in the Beijing Lu area is very well located, just a short stroll to the main pedestrian street for all the F&B and shopping! The rooms are comfortable enough and has everything needed for a short stay - ie good shower, toilet amenities, hair dryer, clean crisp sheets, comfy bed. The exterior / entrance of the hotel is a bit shocking for those not used to small shop-like entrances in China. It's sandwiched between a metal workshop and a mahjong club haha. It's also a little off the main street so in the evening, it can look suspect, but I assure you we had no problems walking back even late in the evening. Once inside the hotel, it's a different story, the lobby was inviting and had a lounge with drinks and all. Then up to the room floors, it started to look/feel like a proper hotel, there's even a gym!! Once we entered the rooms, we were relieved and happy with the decision to book Paco, it's good value for what we were getting. Rooms are generous and comfortable and design is very decent - oh we were in Deluxe rooms with windows so I can't say what the rest was like as I understand there are rooms without windows.

Dear Paco, you would be a complete WINNER if you just do this one upgrade to your hotel - clean/change the carpeting! Give it a refresh! Then you'd be close to perfect for that price point. There's a lingering smell, must be cigarettes and wear and tear over the years. We had to linen spray the place down!!

The room and location is good.

Breakfast is average. The noodles station there was no chef or instructions to guide people that they need to heat up the water and soup. Porridge and food is not hot. Coffee only black coffee no other choice. I saw a cockroach climbing out of the coffee machine and told the cleaning lady. She used her hand to swipe away the cockroach to the floor and the next moment you cannot see the cockroach anymore...magic!!! Though I understand this is common problem for coffee machine, but they should have get it serviced and cleanse. Ride hailing for car because of the location driver did not turn into the hotel entrance but stop outside the traffic light junction 50m away. This hotel has no concierge service to help you call for ride. You have to walk out to call the car in.

Very good breakfast, very good location and staff. The only thing a little uncomfortable was the payment did via booking.com was just for confirm the visit, then in the place you must pay it again (the staff claim that the money paid to booking.com is going to be returned to me in one month -after leaving the hotel-). Every thing else was perfect, I am going to book again Paco hotel

As usual it's very practical and accessible to nearby facilities. One suggestion I have seen many Muslims in your hotel this time.A small HALAL CORNER will be very appreciated as we can't eat any meat from your dishes in breakfast.

A mini Fridge is almost important in the room.i suggested once to a guy on reception. He told me this is a business hotel.you sleep and you go! That was a very idiotic answer my friend.if I want to have some chilled drinks in the night I can't? I even can't have have chilled water also?do you know you are the only hotel charging 450Rmb per night and don't have a mini Fridge? You will teach me what is business??

200m from Beijing Road Pedestrian Walk which is very happening. It's near but quiet enough on a side lane. 100m from Metro which is very convenient given Guangzhou's horrendous traffic. Receptionists were very courteous even though they didn't speak English (but can use a digital translator). Interior is well-decorated.

On first look, it can seem dodgy as it's located on ground and first floor of an old building housing flats. Doesn't look like a hotel from outside. But inside, is well done up.

Location is at a quieter end of Beijing Road and yet near enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle. Boutique hotel, unimpressive entrance but a cozy welcoming reception area. Rooms may be smaller and slightly worn out but housekeeping kept the room clean and tidy everyday. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, offering a good sleep every night. Water pressure in bathroom was good, if there is a bidet spray would be perfect. Super value with early check-in, daily breakfast and use of laundry room. There were bottles of brewed tea for hotel guests which was a really nice gesture! Attending staff were all friendly and helpful.

Literally in the city centre, the mainstream of Beijing road is just a stone away. Tons of restaurants and malls nearby. Metro station is nearby as well, 2-3 mins walk. Front-desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but sufficient for such price paid. Breakfast is ok, so do head to the streets for food.

Toilet design in the room is a bit odd, 2 separate door for the loo and the shower. wasn't that used to it, as the upper part of the loo door is not fully covered, air is freely communicating between the loo and the room. Our room is at the far even from the elevator. There's window in the room, but hardly any view.

It was an enjoyable stay . The beds are comfortable. The room is bright and clean , with an adequate supply of amenities. However ,on the downside, my TV isn't working well , The breakfast is a surprise, good value for money , with a good selection of food . The staff of the front desk are very helpful and friendly. I would like to show my appreciation to 李国亮先生, who spoke English fluently. He had offered us much help in finding our tour guide for the day trip . Good refreshment drink is available at the lobby, which is an added bonus . I highly recommend this hotel. Will certainly be back when we are in Guangzhou next time .
