I came to Shanghai with my family and booked this hotel. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were particularly enthusiastic, helping me with my luggage and even providing delicious drinks in the lobby. I am also particularly satisfied with the arranged room. The interior window faces the courtyard, but it is not stuffy at all and allows for ventilation. The facilities in the room are also quite complete, and there are bathrobes to wear. The slippers are also quite soft, so I took them with me. I didn't expect breakfast to be so plentiful, as many of them were freshly made. I am also very grateful to the front desk lady for delaying my check-out until the afternoon, which allowed me more time to play in Shanghai. When I left, she also gave me a small souvenir. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel in Shanghai this time. I will definitely come back if there is a chance and recommend it to my friends

This hotel really exceeded my expectations! Its location is extremely convenient, not far from the subway entrance. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Yu Garden and it's also close to the Bund. The room is particularly clean, and the bedding feels very comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and the water pressure is just right, making a bath very relaxing. The staff at the front desk are super friendly, check-in was very fast, and they even proactively told me what good food is nearby, which was very considerate.The breakfast has a wide variety of options and tastes great. The value for money is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time and highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this hotel! The location is perfect, and they even offer shuttle buses to nearby attractions like the Bund and Yu Garden. The front desk staff speak great English, and mobile translation tools made everything so convenient. I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends!

Great Mercure close to Yu Gardens. Beautiful decor with a nice historic touch. Everything looked new and well furnished. Very helpful staff when I was having issues connecting to their wifi or getting around. Sheets felt super soft and comfortable!

Quite far walking distance from the metro station. Close enough to Yu Gardens but still a bit of a trek

Location is very good, Yu garden and metro station all within walking distance. breakfast had good variety, the local noodle taste good. Free soft drinks in room, the cleaning lady on our floor was very friendly she did a good job.

frankly speaking this shouldn’t be a 4 star, I have been to many 4 star hotels in many countries this one has the lowest service This hotel only have stairs to enter, nothing for luggage and wheelchair; when we arrive the doorman saw us get off the taxi and just walked inside😐 when approached the front desk, none of the staff greeted (only one did during our stay), I had to greet them first each time. The hallway carpet was not clean, there were lots of stains from food and drinks. sometime you can smell a bit cigarette in the hall way. Btw this also the first 4 star hotel I’ve stayed that didn’t offer bathrobe to every room

some people smoking in their room and public area, the smell spread through the AC system……
